First time but not the last! I dropped off rear triangle of my 80's BMX bike to be brass plated. Drove in from the IE since they were the only shop that I could find for brass with good reviews and they did not disappoint! Took a week, good price and very excellent finish! Highly recommend even if you have to drive in a bit. Thanks Beo-Mag!

Had some steel brackets plated in brass from another spot which was supposed to be plated copper. It is really challenging finding a spot to plate in copper, and also undo the previous job. Super accommodating and quick turn around time. I found Beo-Mag after tons of searching and got the brackets to Jesse the day of. They were finished 3 days later. Even offered to meet me near my place to drop off. Correspondence was through text and super quick response time. Highly recommend, can not believe how gorgeous these brackets came out, still blowing my mind. Excited to put them up. Recommend for metal plating needs, not sure what other services are offered here but sure they are all amazing. Jesse was so easy to work with and a pro at what they do. See before and after.

Great and friendly staff. Price is reasonable too. The turn around took 2-3 days. I was amazed by my son's medal and how it turned out! They are also good with social media communication, my husband would inquire through text messages and emails and they were able to get back to him in a timely manner and answered every question he had. read more

I have an older home that I just remodeled the bath. I had this beat up toilet holder ( original to the house) that was going to replace but decided to have re-chromed. It looks brand new! Jesse and his team are miracle workers. Dropped off some pitted chrome pieces from a '68 Porsche and got them back looking brand new. Way better than I could have expected. They're working on additional parts for me now and I'll update with pictures once I get everything back. read more

Excellent service and quality, I highly recommend. Dropped off a slew of parts left to be polished and chromed and Jesse followed up with me on areas that were potential problems. He was always straight forward, organized in presentation, and and the prices are very fair. Loved the results. The person who restored my car was very impressed so that says something about his quality. Here's the most important thing about my dealing with Beo-Mag; specifically Jesse: it's hard to find someone in this type of service industry that is straight forward and does not play games. Harder yet to find someone that can be professional, give you an educated and experienced overview on how to achieve your needs. read more

I recently got brass ornaments gold plated, the work was outstanding!! The ornaments were delicate and I wanted all the nooks and crannies coated with gold without loosing the details and they achieved it. Took the interior chrome pieces to my 1965 Lincoln Continental in to get chromed and polished because of a referral from Another shop that does not do chrome. The pricing was extremely competitive. After getting all of my parts back today, I will take everything else to them and always recommend Beo-Mag Plating. Everything looks brand new. Incredible work. Ask for Jessie...he personally dropped off everything to my house within the time he said it would take. read more

INSANE quality and customer service doesn't get any better than this pace! The owner Jesse is hands on and stands behind everything that comes out of his shop. I provided a reference photo on the very first day and made it known that I am very detail-oriented, especially because this was a major custom staircase railing project costing around $20,000. I wanted the finished product to closely match the design, proportions, style, and overall look of the reference photo. Unfortunately, the process became frustrating and confusing. Instead of feeling like my vision was being understood and executed, I repeatedly felt like the design was being scaled back, reinterpreted, or changed from what I had originally requested. Multiple revisions were needed because key details were not reflected properly, including how the railings were supposed to continue down the lower steps and terminate at the bottom. One major issue was that the shop drawings showed a rectangular/square wood cap, even though the reference photo I provided showed a round wood handrail. That was a major design difference, not a small detail. For a custom project of this size, I expected the drawings to accurately reflect the design direction I had communicated from the start. Another major frustration was the coordination process. I hired Hand Crafted Metalworks expecting them to manage the project. Instead, I felt like I was being put in the middle between their metal team and their wood subcontractor. I was connected directly with the wood subcontractor, who appeared to be unaware of important details, including that the wood was already part of the original quote. At one point, it felt like I was being asked to coordinate or clarify things that should have been handled internally by the contractor. There was also confusion around the timeline. A timeline that had been discussed as approximately six weeks later appeared to become September, which was a significant difference. When I asked for clarification, the conversation became defensive instead of simply explaining the scheduling change. Overall, my frustration is not just about one isolated issue. It is about the entire process: repeated miscommunication, inaccurate design assumptions, unclear subcontractor coordination, changing expectations, and a feeling that I had to keep fighting to preserve the original design vision I clearly communicated from day one. For a high-end custom project, I expected a much smoother and more professional process. Instead, I felt like I had to constantly correct, clarify, and manage details that should have been understood and handled by the company. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I'd post only after the credit card dispute is filed, not before, and keep screenshots/emails organized in case they respond publicly.

I decided to give Engine Supply a try after my previous engine developed a major oil consumption…read moreafter a rebuild. I have yet to disassemble and determine the cause on that engine. I needed some cylinder head refresh work done on a replacement engine and took my head here. It's for a bmw s54 engine. I understand Engine supply does a lot of domestic work but will also do European and Japanese engines. After speaking with one of the guys, I found out that it's a family owned and operated company. The guys are definitely knowledgeable. The cylinder was picked up and was in great clean condition as expected by a good machine shop. What impressed me was they took me to the back to show my cylinder head during assembly when I dropped off my valve seals. The shop is well organized and clean. When I picked up the cylinder head, the Machinist who worked on my cylinder head also mentioned that the valves were returned in the exact order it was removed, which makes putting the shims I removed back it the same order easier to adjust the valve clearance on assembly. The cylinder head was assembled back into the used block. And is now running in the car without any oil consumption. It has done multiple track days without issue.
