This is a long overdue review, but the guys at Aero Welding helped me save my sofa from Living Spaces. I purchased a Bonaterra pullout sofa and there is a very slim rod that goes under the pull out bed. Well, that rod ended up snapping in half and every time I sat on the sofa, it ended up sinking. I called Living Spaces and they were of no help since I was out of my warranty. I called furniture repair places and they said I'd have to purchase the entire pull out mechanism, which made no sense given that I just needed to replace the one rod. Lo and behold, I contacted the guys at Aero Welding, and they were like no problem, we can manufacture the rod. They just needed the measurements (it would have been better if I had brought the original rod, but I had thrown it away by the time I got to them) and not only were able to recreate the rod, but they made it more sturdy. The turnaround period was very reasonable as well. Once I got home, I placed the rod and it fit perfect. But the moment of truth was to sit on it and see if it held. And it did! I reached out via Yelp to see if they could help weld a titanium exhaust for my MKV Supra. They responded same day and let me know they could help and what time I could stop by. I showed up and Brian received me, checked out my exhaust, and confirmed that welding my exhaust would not be an issue. I very much appreciated their help and want to leave a review. === I had a stationary bike where the left pedal (with the left thread) gave out since I was an idiot and pedaled backward. At first, I took it to a nearby bike shop; the shop immediately said that the screw was striped and they couldn't help with that. They suggested that I try to get it welded. I contacted a few welding services; this is the only one willing to take a look. Others flat-out said no. After bringing in the bike, they looked at the screw and the threaded hole. The screw is messed up on the pedal. However, the threaded hole was fine and can be fixed with the right tool. Unfortunately, they didn't have it at hand. They tried to remove the plastic cover so a weld could be attempted but weren't able to do so. I asked if we could try the tool to fix the hole. They agreed. Two days later, I came back and got the threaded hole fixed. Put in new pedals, and the bike is working once again. I am very appreciative of Brian helping me with this, explaining what's going on, and ultimately fixing it, especially since this isn't their usual type of work. I needed someone to fix a bent heavy duty solid steel bike rack. I asked for quotes on Yelp and Brian replied right away. He suggested that I bring in my bike rack to the shop and they would assess the damage. I ended up being able to stop by shortly before they closed. He offered to fix it right there and then there even though they were closing by the time, I got there. He said he didn't want me to have to come back. Brian gave me a more reasonable quote than I expected, and I had him do the job. It took about 20 minutes, and he was very professional and nice. The bike rack is so heavy but he took care of it and fixed it! Really great shop. There is a reason why they have 5 stars. Highly recommend!!! read more

My kickstand on my E-bike had broken off and took a piece of the frame off with it. Had to get it welded back on. These guys were the first to respond to me and did a great job. I provided a photo of the assembled project, wrote on the parts how they go together, and did my best to clearly communicate what I wanted. They got my small prototype project done the same day and for a decent cost. Not cheap, but a fair price for the work, and the welds were all very nice. No complaints. Nice guys. I'm happy. I brought in a middle section of an outdoor patio couch that my kids had jumped on and busted the aluminum support frame underneath. The tweed wrapped around the aluminum made it impossible to weld a new support structure. Dave used his ingenuity to rivet new and much stronger pieces to support. Other shops turned me away. If you value your time, stay away from this place and from Dave and Brian. After a couple of visits and multiple phone calls Dave finally gave me an appointment to come and bring my car for a welding job they were going to do for me. I had removed the car seat from the car as they had asked, got up extra early in the morning to take the car over there and drove through traffic. I got there, Dave comes out and says "I cannot do the job." I asked him why, he said this had only been a tentative appointment. He also claims he wanted to call me to cancel the appointment but did not have my contact information, which is not true since Brian and I had extensively talked before. Who gives tentative appointments after several phone calls and a couple visits?! Time is money, and they understand that for themselves, but they are not considerate enough to waste other people's time. I met Bryan because he had sold me a bicycle which he had advertised as a great working bike and then I had to spend more money to repair it then what the bicycle actually cost me. I am a fool for being the kind of guy that likes to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I should've learned from that experience that these guys are not only not trustworthy, they are completely unprofessional. How can they be running a business if they cannot keep appointments? read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. My experience was THAT bad. I brought drawings for a bike frame for a school project to Aero Welding and Mfg. Dave needed 1:1 scale drawings, which we provided to him. Dave said to order the material and that he would look at the drawings with his son. They said they would give us a quote after looking at the drawings. He said that our timeline of a month would be no problem. We initially contacted Dave before Thanksgiving. It took him an entire month to give us a quote even though we had the materials delivered to him mid December. We accepted the quote and asked him to finish it as soon as possible. We contacted him multiple times about the project. Dave specifically said that they were working on the project and that they had started cutting the material. We asked to come down to see if they had any questions and to make sure the project was going well, because we were on a timeline. He said yes, but the day we were planning on visiting, Dave called and said they couldn't work on the project anymore. They said that the project was too complex for them. Are you kidding me?!? You have "40 years of experience" and you can't weld a bike frame? Take them your metal chairs, and old exhaust pipes, but for anything that requires skill and fabrication, go elsewhere. We went down to pick up the material and they had not even started on the project, even though Dave said he had been working on our project multiple times. I'm convinced that they hadn't even looked at the project until we asked to come down and look at the project. These guys have NO INTEGRITY. Take your business elsewhere. Their quote was 33% higher than the company we eventually went with, that finished the project within a week. read more

You see, the night before, I had left an after hours voice message to their number requesting a quote for cleaning oxidized iron park bench legs. This morning, the owner returned my call and left a very nice message saying that he couldn't provide the services I was seeking and instead, recommended me to another company and even provided the telephone number. Now, seriously, WHO DOES THAT? in this age of fierce competition and slamming others down. He actually took THE TIME to make the phone call and give me a recommendation. He didn't have to do that. To me, he is a shining example of paying it forward when he probably didn't even expect anything in return. I, for one, will be a loyal customer from now on. I came in with the pipe of my two-stroke mini racebike to get a rashed up part welded as the metal was thin and possibly with a leak. That's all I asked for. What I got in return was a nice fat protective chunk on the rashed area with an excellent looking weld job on it. And a layer of high temp black paint matching the rest of the pipe over the weld area as well as over another rashed area of my pipe that didn't need to be fixed.
