Because my horse and his daily experience is such a high priority for me, I first had to ensure that I found a proper home for him and then I could find my own home. Finding Chalk Hill Ranch was one of the best experiences I have had in the 17 years With my horse. Tonight he carried me back onto the trails for the first time. We had many years riding the trails in the Berkeley Hills and tonight was very special. He and I both experienced great peace in the beauty of the natural environment- the creek, the trees, the birds. And my heart was reminded that this is why I moved. We found a sacred ranch with beautiful people and loving care. We are so grateful.

With access to trails, an outdoor arena, lit indoor arena, obstacle course, and a round pin you truly can't ask for much more. It is a peaceful environment and everyone truly cares about the wellbeing of your horse. It's the type of place where if I can't make it out for a few days I am not nervous. I know if something was amiss with my horse I'd be notified which provides me with a ton of peace of mind.

Cloverleaf Ranch is a magical place! Our nine-year-old just returned from his second year of…read moresleep-away camp (He attended the day camp when he was younger.) and he has so many positive things to say. The counselors were fun and supportive. The activities were engaging. Thomas loved the food. This year he encouraged a friend from school to join him. That boy had a great time, and they both made new friends too. Thomas came back with greater confidence and displaying more independence too. We can't wait to get back the pictures he took with his disposable camera! What I love best, besides hearing the stories about him getting up early to care for the horses that he once found intimidating, was the call we received from Dawn mid-week. We weren't worried. We've had great experiences at Cloverleaf. We know the ratios of campers to counselors allows for attentive care. Still, the mid-week phone call telling us how his week was going just reinforced how much the staff really cares. For this reason, Cloverleaf will continue to be a Cremidis family tradition for many years to come. Next year, little brother will be old enough for residential camp and he's already making plans for how he'll spend his time.

I didn't feel comfortable with this arrangement and am glad I didn't sign my daughter up for sleep-away camp. She enjoyed the day camp but the staff seemed more concerned with protecting themselves rather than allowing parents to protect their children. I was expecting some nice local horse riding girls to mentor her and instead had to leave her with boys who wouldn't tell me their names. She won't be back.

This is the place any horse would choose to live. Where ever you turn, you can see other horses…read more They are not in 12 x 12 stalls. Rather, they are in groups in large paddocks, where they can be social horses. The grounds are not fancy. However, the air is full of ease and calm. A few seasoned horses are allowed to roam the grounds, checking in on the newness or mingling politely with the people getting tack, grooming or chatting with other friends. Every horse is well fed, shinny coats and relaxed smiles on their faces. The sun seems to show partiality to Wind Horse ranch, as it shines ever so kindly on every inch of the property. It is a place horses can learn to be better partners with their owners, or just be better horses with others of their kind, If I have a tough day at the office or just the world in general, I head out to Wind Horse to get my head on straight and let my horses be my physicians. The owner is a lady I am honored to call my friend and fellow horse woman.

She Then allowed the horse owner to call and refuse to refund her deposit! We both heard Tiana say it was refundable. A vet check wasn't even discussed until after this statement. Very unprofessional because Tiana was representing the horse, not the owner. Legally the deposit should be returned. My friend changed her mind with in a 20 hour period. This trainer was also Riding in tennis shoes. Not impressive or a good example to her students. She was rude & abrasive to my friend which was totally unacceptable.

I would say that her tolerance for difficult horses is much greater than for difficult people. My experience is one of our twelve year old going on her fourth year riding with Tiana. Our daughter cannot think about doing anything other than being at LisRobin Barn all weekend, every weekend with Tiana, the horses and a great group of girl pals that share the love of horses and each other. We appreciate the passion, responsibility culture and knowledge that Tiana brings to her girls. The girls learn how to WORK, how to show respect the ol' Virginny way and what it means to love and care for an animal. (I would recommend reading the additional filtered reviews - I can assure you that these are not "reviews for hire" - these are from folks like me that are concerned that one negative review will harm our friends at LisRobin. She is an accomplished rider herself which doesn't always necessarily translate into being a great instructor, but in Erin's case, she is not only a talented rider, but also instructor. My 6 year old daughter absolutely loves her (and Katie) and counts the days until her next lesson! They have helped nurture a passion for horses. Erin really takes her time and is so genuine! She teaches horsemanship, not just riding which I think is so important. I have been around horses my whole life and have trained with countless instructors when I was younger. Finding the right instructor for my daughter was important to me. I wanted her to be able to build a relationship with her instructor as well as the horse. You don't get this at a lot of lesson facilities, especially for beginner riders. A lot of barns feel cold and very business like -- you get on the horse, you ride for 25-30 minutes and then go home -- not with Erin and Katie. I have never felt rushed. It is a totally different experience riding at her facility -- it is fun, educational, safe, and my daughter has gotten so much out of her lessons in just 6 months. I feel so lucky that a friend referred us (Her daughter goes to school with my daughter and was riding with Erin). As another reviewer pointed out, Erin is so gentle, yet not afraid to push a little in a good way. She has given my daughter so much confidence. My daughter has made so much progress thanks to All the Kings Horses. It is a whole family experience visiting Erin's ranch in Calistoga -- even my 4 year old has a blast!
