The counselors were fun and supportive. The activities were engaging. Thomas loved the food. This year he encouraged a friend from school to join him. That boy had a great time, and they both made new friends too. Thomas came back with greater confidence and displaying more independence too. We can't wait to get back the pictures he took with his disposable camera! What I love best, besides hearing the stories about him getting up early to care for the horses that he once found intimidating, was the call we received from Dawn mid-week. We weren't worried. We've had great experiences at Cloverleaf. We know the ratios of campers to counselors allows for attentive care. Still, the mid-week phone call telling us how his week was going just reinforced how much the staff really cares. For this reason, Cloverleaf will continue to be a Cremidis family tradition for many years to come. Next year, little brother will be old enough for residential camp and he's already making plans for how he'll spend his time.

I didn't feel comfortable with this arrangement and am glad I didn't sign my daughter up for sleep-away camp. She enjoyed the day camp but the staff seemed more concerned with protecting themselves rather than allowing parents to protect their children. I was expecting some nice local horse riding girls to mentor her and instead had to leave her with boys who wouldn't tell me their names. She won't be back.

My mare recently suffered a bout of laminitis and Leah was there night and day, going above and beyond to keep Flame comfortable. Knowing that Leah was treating Flame as her own was more support than I could have ever hoped for and demonstrated that she is the consummate horse person in it for all the right reasons. The standard of care she provides is excellent: high-quality feed, deep bedding, attention to detail for grain, supplements, meds, blanketing, etc. Large outdoor arena with varied jump standards, covered indoor arena w/ lights and dressage mirrors, and trails through the forest and surrounding hills, provide year-round riding for a variety of disciplines and interests. Stalls with attached runs, large daily turnouts, and pastures where horses can be horses create a stress and drama-free environment for both horse and owner. The property is fenced and requires a gate/security code, owners live on the property, and Leah and her staff truly know horses so that horses, clients, equipment, etc. are always safe and secure.

I have a sense of peace knowing my horse has eyes on him daily and there are folks there that really care. I reached out to the the owner Danica because my horse had attempted to dump his water and made a big mess of things. Also an electric wire had come down that needed to be repaired. I kid you not, it was all fixed and repaired in about one hour! This place is top notch. They're not just lip service at Solo Acers, they care, are super responsive and run a top notch boarding facility! All the boarders I've had the pleasure of meeting at Solo Acres are good people! This is the place any horse would choose to live. Where ever you turn, you can see other horses…read more They are not in 12 x 12 stalls. Rather, they are in groups in large paddocks, where they can be social horses. The grounds are not fancy. However, the air is full of ease and calm. A few seasoned horses are allowed to roam the grounds, checking in on the newness or mingling politely with the people getting tack, grooming or chatting with other friends. Every horse is well fed, shinny coats and relaxed smiles on their faces. The sun seems to show partiality to Wind Horse ranch, as it shines ever so kindly on every inch of the property. It is a place horses can learn to be better partners with their owners, or just be better horses with others of their kind, If I have a tough day at the office or just the world in general, I head out to Wind Horse to get my head on straight and let my horses be my physicians.
