Like I'm today when I get what sound means, in that sentence. No wonder the parking lot it so full. I recommend pencil-ing in extra time. Was an hour for me. tops. But more than worth it. Michael Block Changed My Mind About Nurse Practitioners…read more I'll be honest - I've always been skeptical of seeing nurse practitioners instead of physicians. I thought doctors were better trained and more thorough. Michael Block completely changed my perspective. I found Michael out of desperation during a holiday week. My primary care physician had dismissed a concerning lump I felt in my upper left neck/parotid region, telling me it was nothing. But I knew something was there. I took a same-day appointment at the Phoenixville location (a far drive for me) because I needed answers. He actually listened. Within minutes, Michael validated what I had been feeling. He agreed something was there and didn't dismiss me. He ordered an ultrasound, which confirmed a small benign fluid-filled cyst - nothing serious, but I wasn't crazy. That validation alone was worth the drive. But he didn't stop there. While awaiting the scan results, Michael ordered a comprehensive panel including: Autoimmune screening (ANA) Inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR) EBV and CMV antibody panels Bartonella testing (my cat recently scratched me) Full allergy panel He was thorough in a way I've rarely experienced with any provider. He solved a problem I'd been living with for years. Michael identified that I likely had TMJ and suspected my nighttime breathing issues weren't sleep apnea - they were allergy-related. The bloodwork confirmed it: I was highly reactive to dust mites (Class III - high). He prescribed nasal sprays to try while we waited for results, and they helped. But the real transformation came after I got those allergy results. I bought a HEPA vacuum, allergen-proof mattress cover, pillow covers, and duvet cover. I went into full sanitation mode in my bedroom. The results were life-changing. I had been waking up every morning with one or both nostrils completely clogged. Now? My airways are completely open - without even using the nasal sprays anymore. I'm sleeping better than I have in years. His bedside manner is exceptional. Michael takes as much time as you need. He doesn't rush you. He's genuinely interested in your well-being and overall health - not just checking boxes. He's passionate about what he does, and it shows. When my labs came back showing positive EBV markers that looked alarming on paper, he called me personally to explain that everything was fine - just evidence of a past infection like 90% of adults have. After my experience with him, I realized I had already found exactly the provider I needed. I scheduled a mild deviated septum repair with Larry Feiner in April 2021 he collapsed my valve…read more..perforated my septum and gave me a hump deformity and did not take any responsibility or accountability for it ! Blamed me and was extremely condescending and rude !!! I had to have a six hour reconstructive surgery that was not successful . My reconstructive surgeon in Philadelphia was unable to fix his mistakes. Fast forward 2025 I am now struggling with a continued collapsed valve I still have a perforation and during Larry Feiners surgery nerves must've been damaged and I now suffer from maxillary pain and not sure if it will ever go away . My quality of life will never be the same because of this surgery . He also took away the look of my nose which i loved & now left me with a nose i never wanted !!!!!!! if I could go back in time I would've run the other way. If you are considering septoplasty please do your research. never in a million years should this have happened ...there really should be more rights for patients!!!!! 0 stars !!!!!!!!!!!!
