They the say a new patient is always a minimum of 3 hours but they're not supposed to say that. Then it's fee after fee and they say it's an actual eye exam that's why it's more expensive. I've worn corrective lenses for 20 years and have done all the exact tests I got done today if not more anytime I've gone. It took them 45 minutes to figure out my prescription and it seemed like nobody knew what was going on in there. They hand me trial contacts say the lady at the front will tell you prices don't even say which contact is for what eye or what my final prescription is. I told the doctor my left eye still looked blurry and he tells me I have 2020. 0/10 would not recommend unless you want to be scammed out of your money! I wish there was negative stars. Missed work to be on time for my appointment just to watch the wait room fill up twice and empty before I was seen.

The office charges for some exam that the insurance does not cover and when I tried to decline the extra exam the office staff said I cannot decline it and it is an extra $39 charge. I ended up paying $90 just for the exams, with using my insurance. The staff also told me that I cannot go back and order my contacts from them because I requested they "release" my prescription to me. This is so crazy. My other eye doctor never gave me grief and always provided me with my prescription after an exam. The one star I am giving is solely for the cleanliness of the office. We will not go back to this office. I would rather drive 30 minutes to get better service.

They took me in and did all the "machine stuff" then I went back in with Dr. Shandley. This was by far the fastest most accurate fitting I have ever had. He absolutely knew his business and had me looking through a crystal clear machine in no time. I have had doctors in the past who flipped the little lenses FOREVER and took so long to get me dialed in. I'm so happy to have found him and don't see switching to anyone else ever again.

The TSO allowed me to return them with another exam for correction. Again new perscriptions and new glasses over $300 with insurance, that I cannot use. They are still way too strong and it hurts my eyes to use them. They just sit there on the desk collecting dust and reminding me how I should have went elsewhere to get glasses. I have been making it on cheap Walgreens readers. But they are not perfect. It's a shame that the Dr's instruments do not match up with what he prescribes for glasses. I can't figure out another solution for his office. But I would not recommend this doctor.

The ladies at the reception area welcomed us in and no time was wasted getting me in to see Dr.Jackson (one of my eyes was injured, I was in pain) DrJackson's calm, friendly demeanor and his thourough explanation of every step of the procedures was a relief (I'm a sissy about my eyes and was nervous at the time) After addressing and treating/correcting my immediate issues, Dr. Jackson's went on to examamine BOTH of my eyes. Checking interoccular pressures, examining retina, optic nerve-you name it, he checked it out! All the while being very conversational about his observations and sharing his knowledge with me in ways made easy to comprehend. Aftercare was explained (and demonstrated) in detail, so after leaving his care I knew what to expect in my recovery and exactly how to use the medicines prescribed. The level of care received was exceptional beyond what I have experienced prior (not my first rodeo) My thanks to Dr. William Jackson and his staff for making my visit so beneficial and memorable.

As a former manager, my employees were expected to be ready to work at open. I chalked it up to technical issues and left a callback number for her to call once the computer was online. After waiting 45 minutes I called back, and was immediately put on hold. Okay no problem, things get busy. Then another woman picked up the phone and once i explained my experience so far, she basically had an "oh well" attitude, was cutting me off, and not listening to the answers to the questions she gave me. Distracted? Doesn't care? Too busy? I don't know, but what I do know is that the whole experience left me feeling like not only does your office not care enough to make it easy for new patients to book an appointment, they also blatantly don't care once their behavior and treatment of patients is pointed out to them. I politely declined the appointment and explained that we had gotten off on the wrong foot with the computer thing, and that I was getting the impression that the employee was not happy I called, and more annoyed or frustrated that I called for an appointment. I informed the woman of this, and her response sealed the deal. There was no "Would you like to speak to my manager?" nor any apology, resolution, or anything aside from, "Hmm, well ok!" This is bad business guys, I hope someone in charge reads this.

The O&G company flew me in from offshore to Surfside and I was driven to Dr. Provenzano's office in Lake Jackson for treatment. Dr. Provenzano picked the chip out of my cornea before the eye had had time to heal over. I appreciate his outstanding work to this day. I am now 77 years old and have been blessed with continued good eye sight.

The prescriptions I get there are spot on. His people are kind friendly and helpful. I have never been rushed, treated unkindly or impatiently by him or his staff. I drive from Houston to see Dr. Provenzano because of his up-to-date equipment that outshines all other doctors I have seen including medical center ophthalmologist that are advertised as the best. How can they be when they have old outdated equipment that does not show or see what Dr. Provenzano's does. The latest technology takes the guessing out of the health of my eyes.
