Received a $65 bouquet as a present and the flowers looked horrible... you could tell how old they were and there's no way they would have lasted longer than 2 days. Called about it and took them back and was met with nothing but a rude attitude blaming the person who ordered. Only giving more than 1 star because she gave me new flowers but those flowers were really just made up of daisies which everyone knows do not add up to the price that was paid. I went to this shop to get flowers for my wife after 2 flower shops had failed to deliver flowers to her while she was at work at the hospital. The owner, Stephen, made the arrangement while I waited. And allowed me to choose the vase. He put together a beautiful tulip arrangement with extra flowers and unique greenery. I placed an order for my wife's birthday, and paid for an "upgraded" version of a stock arrangement. What I revived was a sickly version of the stock arrangement with less blooms and completely different colors than what was specifically ordered. While the people were willing to refund the full amount or make a new bouquet what they fail to realize is you don't get a second chance to make a good impression. My advise would be go through another local florist or at a minimum go in and pick up your bouquet yourself. I would post pictures however it isn't giving me that option. read more

I would not use this vendor. I ordered an arrangement which cost over $100 - it was an interesting fall arrangement with unique items. What was delivered was 6 red roses in a vase with a fall bow. Not at all what I had picked out. When I contacted their customer service I got a canned response offering a coupon on a future order. I did some investigating after that (should have done before) and there are numerous consumers who have filed complaints with the BBB - and this company then lies to the BBB saying it refunded their money. I recently ordered flowers through this company as their website said they would deliver New Years day. It was easy to place the order, but after that things were a disaster. The flowers were delivered a day early and what was supposed to be a premium arrangement of fresh flowers looked awful and would disgrace even a first day trainee florist. They looked like they had been jammed into the vase with no attempt at arrangment and they were all in bud, not a real flower in sight. To make matters worse the exterior of the vase was adorned with a faux hydrangea. Very tacky indeed. The Coup De Gras was delivered through the candy that I had included in the order as a small treat costing $10, it was a 3.4oz pack of M&Ms with a label on the front saying "Publix 4 for $5" this represents an 800% mark up!!!! On Sept. 22nd I received a flower arrangement with pink Lillis and pink Carnations that was ordered by my sister in-law in Canada for my special birthday. Te flowers looked fresh but the arrangement was poorly done and looked very unprofessional. After talking to my sister in-law I found out that she had ordered a pink arrangement with Roses, Lilies and Alstromerias. The Roses were substituted with the Carnations and the Alstromerias were missing. I went today and brought the arrangement to the store. The store owner showed a very bad attitude telling me that I received a $100 arrangement for the price of $60.00 that was paid for including the delivery cost, especially since my sister in-law requested a special vase. I understand when a flower arrangement is ordered out of a FDT catalog the prices are binding, including the delivery cost. I was told I should also take into consideration that it takes about 2 1/2 month before the owner gets paid for his services. I let the owner know that I could get a better looking flower arrangement in the nearby supermarkets. He finally offered me to select additional flowers but asked me if wanted to rearrange the flowers myself. I said no. After about 15 minutes he came back with another flower arrangement that looked halfway decent. but came in a glass vase. I asked for the original vase and did finally walk out. The arrangement looked acceptable but still not what you look for from a professional florist. It was the attitude of the store owner that bothered me more then the imperfect arrangement.. read more

Berkeley Flowers in Bluffton, SC apparently does not believe in or appreciate "customer service". I called them from Florida to order flowers for Mother's Day. A gentleman named James hurridly took my order. Didn't even ask for "my name" on the credit card. I should have just said never mind and moved on to another florist. I called a few days later and told James that I needed to change the location of where the flowers were to be delivered because my mother decided to "surprise" us here in Florida for Mother's Day. Well, Berkeley Flowers in Bluffton called Maria's Flowers in Clearwater, Florida. I did get my flowers on time, however they were of poor quality. I was too embarassed to give them to my mother and instead went to another local florist and purchased something else. I felt that, being a business owner myself, Berkeley should have done the right thing and replaced the flowers with FRESH ones. That is what I would have done to make the customer happy. Ordered a mother's day arrangement to be delivered on a Saturday, although my credit card was charged it was never delivered (can you say fraud?). Emailed them on Sunday, no return email. Called on Monday afternoon after no response to the email and talked to somebody who said they would get right back to me, never did. Left another message on their voicemail at 4:30 on Monday (recording said they were open until 6:30), no return phone call. Left another message mid day Tuesday (again recording said they were open until 6:30), again no return phone call. I have never felt compelled to post a negative review of a business. Although from other reviews (I unfortunately did not read the other reviews until now), I am not the first nor, I am sure, will I be the last who will give them a negative review.
