I was crushed because we were waiting to tell the family until we had the ring sized. The gal (I believe her name is Michelle) went and spoke with the goldsmith and they were able to expedite it so I could have my ring by that evening! I was overjoyed! I even got the call that it was done before the anticipated time, so I could get it back sooner. It is stunning, and my fiancee said they were so easy to work with in the design process, as well. Our experience there did not inspire trust in their customer service attitude…read more Several years ago I gave my sister a Citizen Eco Drive solar powered watch with a 5-year warranty purchased from a reputable dealer in our area. When it stopped working last year, she took it to Montague's in Billings and they sent it to Citizen for repair. Finally she was told that Citizen had reported it couldn't be fixed because the parts were unavailable. Then the manager sold her a new watch (unfortunately she told them the maximum she could pay--$120--first) for that exact amount and said it was half price. It was a very plain, traditional, battery powered watch and she didn't get any paperwork or warranty on it. It was a brand we don't recognize and for which we can find no information online. He only told her he would give her new batteries for life--but hey, she's in her mid-eighties now! While we were visiting her in Billings last month, we went to Montague's and asked for her Citizen watch back so I could take it to my original vendor's watchmaker, who keeps older parts and might still be able to fix it. The Montague's manager told us he had thrown it away because it couldn't be fixed. My sister had not been asked for her permission to do this, so I was upset and complained. From the get-go we thought the manager acted defensive and arrogant, and never apologized for throwing away a customer's property without permission. And we still have unanswered questions about the watch he sold her. I can only hope there are other employees in this long-standing Billings business who show more respect for legitimate customer complaints.

We were assured that it would not be a problem not to have my wife's ring inspected every 6 months. No problem; we'll cover the warranty. Well, 2 years and 5 months after our wedding a diamond fell out of my wife's ring. First off, should this really happen after such a short time? We called the store and they said sorry we can't honor the warranty since it wasn't inspected. Feeling pretty disappointed with that decision. Update: After posting this review and on Riddles Facebook page Riddles Jewelry contacted me and offered to make it right. They have since repaired my wife's ring under the warranty. They also offered to allow us to take the ring to Riddles every 1 year instead of 6 months going forward. Rebecca the Manager in billings that contacted us was very friendly and helpful. About two weeks after sending it off we now have the ring repaired and it looks great. Thanks to Rebecca for getting it done.

We went in just looking at rings and Jeff came up to help us. He was fantastic. He was super helpful. He let us look and then based on what we were liking gave us some suggestions and he found the perfect ring for us. He then took the time to discuss diamond options for the center stone and what all the ratings meant. He let us look at the loose diamonds and see how beautiful they were. He discussed his payment options and took the time to write everything we needed down so we could come back when we decided that was definitely the one. We chose to get the protection plan that include free cleanings whenever you want, free repairs, replacements for lost diamonds. The whole ten yards! When she walked away he took the time to sneak in the question of when I wanted the ring by. I gave him a short time frame of only a few days. He said of course we can have it done since they have their own goldsmith on site. He then helped me lie to her and say it would be a month or so before it was ready so I could pull off the perfect surprise. If you're in the market for a ring or jewelry or just looking go to Samuel's and ask for Jeff!
