The quality of the dentistry work here is fine. There was just a weird experience that happened at this place that made me not say anything but switch dentists, I went and scheduled my first visit as an adult after not going for many years as a teenager, ended up needing some cavities filled. I had quite a few I think, and I started wincing in pain, but that man did not seem to care, he didn't ask if I was okay or comfortable or if I needed more numbing, it was many years ago so I can't recall exactly what he said, but it was something along the lines of like, do you want this done or not? Bro I swear I was letting him do it, it was just also really dismissive and a little rude. I recommend Glisten dental. It's all women and the lady dentist is really sweet and cares about your comfort level. Super kind people. Never had any issues and I've had similar work done there. read more

If I could give them a zero star I definitely would! My appointment was at 11:10a and I was in the lobby checked in at 11:12a and sat and waited in the lobby for at least 8 mins before the dental hygienist came in and stated "you're late, your appointment was at 11:10a and I don't have time to clean your teeth. I can take a look in your mouth but I don't to cut into my lunch time and it shows that you haven't gotten cleaned since February. And your note says you've been late previously" I've never in my life received these type of poor customer service! Literally checked in at 11:12a and I being told this! The worst part is the other two staff sad there and said nothing! Including the one that checked me in. I have been coming to this practice with my family for many years and I will never step foot in here! read more

They were not prepared for my appointment to get my tooth implant put on despite telling them all the required information. They didn't even call prior to reschedule. I asked if I should reschedule in a week or so, they said no, they will call as soon as they get the information they needed from the implant doctor which they had over a month to get. They still haven't called me back to make the appointment or tell me why it's being delayed so long. I told them I would leaving all summer and wanted to get this done ASAP. This place is a horrible excuse for dentistry...my son got an infected tooth pulled today...when he told the dr he wasn't numb enough, he was ignored and told "pressure is progress" and the tooth was pulled with him NOT FULLY NUMB..he asked for an estimate on getting a partial and was told he should just pull all of his teeth and get dentures..at a cost of over $8000...($267 per tooth to pull plus the cost of the dentures)..this is with insurance!...sounds like this group is scamming a lot of people with their crappy dr and over inflated pricing.. read more

My family and I have been with Berkshire Dental since 1984. Personally, I have been treated by Dr. Mongrain (now retired), Dr. Sprague, and now Dr. Droege. I have the utmost confidence in all of the team members from the office staff, hygienists, and the doctors. I have never experienced any pain and I have had many procedures done ranging from cleanings to root canals and crowns. They have always checked to make sure that I am comfortable and pain-free. I'm now in the process of preparing for crown replacements for many old old crowns and a new partial and am confident that everything will proceed according to the proposed treatment plan. BTW, my 5 yr old granddaughter is now one of their patients and was very disappointed when her last visit had to be rescheduled by her mother. read more

I had a great first experience at Berkshire today! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Mongrain is a kind man and he had some good suggestions for future work on my teeth. But he also didn't push anything and left it completely up to my preference! I appreciated that very much. The lady who cleaned my teeth, Amber, was understanding of my sensitivities and very gentle. I already set up another appointment with them in the spring and I intend to keep coming back regularly! read more

Berkshire Dental charges more than any insurance benefit you will be entitled to from your insurance carrier. You will always have an out of pocket portion to pay and be sure to keep track of all of your visits. Because if you unknowingly exceed your allowed number of visits you will be expected to pay even though Bekshire Dental did not advise you of this before your visit.
