Dr. Faggioli was great. She explained what she was going to do before each step. She was careful to minimize any pain during the extensive procedure. Ended up creating a temporary crown to deal with the tooth break. While being treated, I was impressed overhearing the interaction of Dolce's staff with patients and callers. The same day of my visit, they followed through to forward the clinical notes & xray to my dentist back home. If I lived in this area, I would definitely make Dr. Faggioli & her Dolce Dental my regular dentist.

She has little to no charisma and a handshake that I imagine feels like putting your hand in a tightened clamp, however, none of that matters if she is a skilled and sensitive practitioner... Dr Barnes is neither. My first visit with her was an interesting experience to say the least. I left there soaking wet... literally, I had a wet bra that could be wrung out and I was wearing a dental bib. Her assistant had to get a towel to keep drying my face... she said her equipment was not working properly but she made no attempt to rectify the situation or offer me another room or to finish the procedure. The worst however was her lack of willingness and empathy to deal with a documented disability. The previous dentists of the practice... Dr Rod and Dr Pyser were wonderful and I certainly miss them terribly... in over 30 years I never had one bad experience or with the other specialist they referred me to. They always accomadated the few special needs I had. Dr Barnes has one way of doing things... her way. I am no longer a patient of Berkshire Dental Arts because while sitting in her chair, bib on, and a numb lip... she said she could not continue to treat me... she did not call me into her office, she did not ask my thoughts or opinion... she just walked out leaving me in a chair and did not finish the 5the appointment of 5. Most recently she insisted on placing the crown on an implant rather than letting the professional endodontist who did the implant (and offered to place the crown as well). Regrettably, I let Dr. Jakhar do the crown placement. She ended up stripping the screw and the whole crown slipped up so that crown was not tight and inflammation bred up underneath. Over repeated visits she ignored my statements that there was a problem. "Just keep flossing", but I knew there was a real problem. Found another dentist who had to remove the damaged crown and replace it. Dr. Jakhar denies all responsibility but I've been told by a lawyer that I could prevail if I took the time and effort to pursue it. I now need to pay several thousand more dollars for a replacement crown...from a MUCH better dentist!

I had a tooth infection and Aspen got me in same day, which is the only good thing about this…read moreplace. The dentist immediately told me I needed my tooth removed and an implant put in. He also told me I needed a new retainer for some reason he did not explain. I was concerned with how quickly he jumped to tooth removal and how fast they had me at a sales desk trying to book everything.The process felt rushed and almost like I was on a conveyer belt to the payment department before I walked in. I made two second opinion appointments with local dentists the following week, and both told me getting my tooth removed was absurd. Each also told me it was ridiculous the dentist at Aspen hadn't cleaned the area around the infected tooth which is step one in any treatment plan. I also went to an orthodontist regarding my retainer, which Aspen said needed replacement despite not even having it at my appointment. They said my retainer was perfectly fine and there were no issues with it whatsoever. I'm now under the care of another dentist who says tooth removal is a last resort and does not believe I'm every going to get there. My advice is to: 1. Make sure you do have a local dentist so you do not need the services of Aspen. 2. If you do go to Aspen in an emergency and they suggest something serious, get a second opinion.
