Plenty of parking in the back. Up front, the reception area is very clean and modern looking. Front desk staff was very friendly. So walking back to my massage, I passed a few exam rooms (chiropractors here) and a yoga studio. The actual massage room didn't have a lot of zen like atmosphere like other places I've been to had. No fancy aromatherapy. There was some faint music in the background. Linens appeared clean. My first masseuse was a young fellow and I was expecting him to be strong but even though I requested he keep massaging harder (i love deep tissue) i wasn't sure if he just didn't want to hurt me but he just didn't get the fact that I wanted a deep tissue massage. If I didn't have the two session deal I would not have come back. Lucky I did though, my second masseuse on another day was Maria. She had the hands and skill of a massage veteran. She could just palpate where all my knots were and I only had to tell her once at the very beginning that I wanted deep tissue massage with hard pressure and she knew what I was looking for. At the big box hospital we felt like we were just a number and not positive that they had our daughter's best interest in mind. With Dr. Milner, we found exactly what we wanted. She has provided us with the expert care of years in the profession. With Dr. Milner we know our daughter is in the best hands and feel the trust as if one of our own family members were taking care of our daughter. Here is just one example: Our preemie daughter came down with a nasty cough late on a Friday afternoon. Dr. Milner stayed late at the office to check her out so we wouldn't have to be worried or need to go to the emergency room over the weekend. As it turned out, she did have RSV, a serious respiratory infection for which many infants are hospitalized. She got us set up with the proper nebulizer treatments and we never had to admit her to a hospital or seek emergency care. We can call her office line anytime and she will get back to us, even on the weekend or evening. We would gladly pay any amount to get the best care for our daughter, but that is not necessary. It is covered by insurance the same as any hospital. On another plus side, we have had absolutely NO billing issues using this private practice, which is such a refreshing change!

I've been a patient for a while now, with that being said I arrived home last night from the west coast to find a very offensive letter in the mail waiting for me. This letter is telling me that I've missed multiple and multiple appointments, and that if I don't want to really be there I don't have to so they will stop seeing me! I must say I'm glad that this dentist is showing his true colors! The fact that letter was not entirely true but also the maturity of it was ridiculous! Technically the entire time I have been with this dentist I have missed two appointments one being I was on the international trip, the second was at the end of last month. I had an appointment for a cleaning and I was eight minutes behind schedule because of traffic on SomCenter Road when I arrived I can feel the attitude from one receptionist in particular they took me back did x-rays but did not do the cleaning because and I quote I was eight minutes late and they only have 45 minutes with me so I said no problem I will be back the following week to get my cleaning done and I also had a small cavity. Well I have just received horrible news that there was a death in my immediate family I took off did not think about canceling this appointment because as any normal human being that would be the last thing on their mind! So again I find it very rude and offensive to have such a nasty derogatory letter in my now waiting for my arrival after a week and a half of hell that I have been through. And by the way I have even paid for my services before I left the office building to take care of the cavity and it will not be fixed by this dentist as he made it clear he does not want me as a patient which is totally fine! Again he comes off as a great doctor to begin with but just make sure nothing happens in your life that you can't control and be sure no matter what to give them a call even if it's a life changing experience happening in your life you must call them or you will get a nasty letter and they will turn on you like you were just the person from the streets. All of you at that practice should be ashamed of yourself! And look how he tries to blast me out for speaking the truth! BTW DR. Stern you don't have my permission to talk about details out certain visits! HIPPA Buddy! You can say what You wish but don't you EVER talk about my visits! You're clearly one liar! First, the practitioners will parrot the same recommendations regardless of whether they make sense. And when you ask them to explain their reasoning they'll clam up. This whole breastfeeding institute or whatever they call it is a joke -- in a couple of appointments, their main recommendation was actually to use a Facebook group!! Second, the scheduling system and approach is nonsensical. You must call to get anything scheduled, and in order to get a real person on the line you have to possibly spend hours on the phone I suspect this is their way of reducing volume when they cannot keep up; they are assuming that some parents would just give up and miss the time window and go away. But one thing they are truly good at is billing -- those arrive right on the dot. In summary, why would you go to them: - For medical expertise? No, most of the time you don't even see a doctor. And the ones aren't anything special - For convenience? Big hospitals are not great, but at least you can call anytime and schedule online. Not like Senders.
