When told I was an existing patient I was told if I was squeezed in it would set others back (like is normal in most health offices). The office staff was uncaring despite the extreme pain. And when I said I'd have to find a new chiropractor, her response was a glib "okay!" It's sad because I really enjoyed Cade's service. Now back to the drawing board. Anyone who knows me knows that getting me into the doctor's office is a significant trial. I am not a fan of the medical establishment in general. But Dr. Roberts is everything that the average doctor is not. He and his staff make you feel like you are actually important, and that making you feel better is important. So many times you walk into a doctor's office and feel like all they care about is getting your co-pay and then kicking you out the door. Equally important is that Dr. Roberts knows what he is doing. His adjustments and advice have all been helpful in improving my quality of life. In a shocking development, I actually look forward to my appointments with him. My PCP said I was crazy and needed to see a psychiatrist, went to neurological doctors only to be told it was in my mind and there was no reason for my headaches. Dr. Dever found my skull was rotated a degree or so and after first adjustment all headaches stopped. I also had blurred vision, double vision and pressure in my head, all went away. I am now going to take my wife to have Dr. Dever help her as she is unable to walk but a few feet at a time. He is a GOD or at least an ANGEL of Chiro.

I'm usually too busy on my computer either doing homework, writing reviews (wink, wink), or playing games. So when my back acts up, as it does all the time I call Dr. Miller up and he's always been able to fit me in the same day. From what I know, he makes house calls and I know for some this can be a life saver. When I was in my teens, my mother had lower back pain and she would call the local chiropractor to the house, and she felt so much better, so I know this can definitely help. The place is small and can be hard to miss if you're not paying attention. I really like the fact that Dr. Miller performs a follow-up with you at no additional cost. Dr. Miller charges $35 for two sessions, albeit he doesn't take insurance, but this is still cheaper than going to the other place. I went to another chiropractor in town and they charge you $30 co-pay on top of charging your insurance company for every time you show up. You walk in, they quickly and sloppily adjust your back and you're out within 2 minutes. I decided to go to Dr. Miller's based on a recommendation from two other people I know. I would recommend him to anyone who has back pains as he's very personable and gets the job done.

Sadly that has disintegrated the past few years with more concern on... policy over patient, insurance over information, quantity over quality, greed over grace. Just another medical office pushing people through like an assembly line. I would never had expected this at Romney Chiropractic I had attempted numerous times over the past year or more, to schedule an appointment with Dr Romney, never seeming to fit into "their" schedule. No matter how far out, they could never seem to "work me in". My busy schedule hadn't changed but apparently their concern for working WITH the patient, has. So actually it had been some time since I had been in. Finally arranging an appointment by taking an afternoon off of work, I arrived, had to fill out paperwork, since I had been unable to make an appointment for quite some time , that's fine, I know it's regulation blah blah blah. When I mentioned that I had had a car accident two months ago, all friendliness went out the door, and so should have I. Although my auto insurance could never be held liable, by law (this has been verified with my auto insurance company) they could not allow me to see the doctor; this was their reasoning to argue this patient right out of the office. My claim was technically closed but the "unfriendly" staff was still there to push me out and not willing to allow me to see or speak with Dr Romney. I was there for a quick back and neck adjustment - appointments that usually take 10-15 minutes time and I've had done more times than I can count.... this turned into Armageddon with the front office staff. After taking the time off from work, a drive 30 miles from work and 20 home - I received no chiropractic adjustment - one that I've been trying to schedule for literally, years as previously stated; I was a little frustrated (and still in pain), to say the least. The unwelcoming and unfriendly staff is what makes this review a one star review. I left a message with the staff for Dr Romney to call me so we could discuss this situation, I had hoped to reconcile, however, 48 hours later, no call. I can only sadly accept that my assessment is accurate and this health CARE office has put the emphasis on "office" rather than "care". More than anything, I am disappointed and feel betrayed by someone that I trusted and relied on for my care for the past decade!
