This is especially the case if the doctor is prescribing stimulant medication of any type of medication that can affect your heart health -- some medications make a psychiatric issue worse if the dosage is not correct. It is a normal, expected part of being a patient of a psychiatrist. I am thankful that we found a great doctor for our family.
