My experience with dr Goldenberg has been exceptional. My Insurance does not cover it , but it is well worth having a psychiatrist that fully understands medications and understands the importance of letting the patient have input on what medication he/she feels comfortable with instead of pushing a single "best" med . Previously my psychiatrists would always tell me how bad certain behaviors or feelings were . Dr Goldenberg does not make you feel guilty about things you have done or thoughts you have . There is an issue , okay let's address it instead of making you feel even worse about things. Dr Goldenberg is always quick to respond through email and educates you about the side effects you may experience so you are not thinking what the heck is going on here ? Long story short He does his job really well . He is not a psychologist do not expect therapy . i am very surprised with all 5 Star reviews posted. My son ended up in emergency room after a tele - visit with dr. Goldenberg. ER doctor clearly stated that my son's condition is related to a high dose of the medication that dr. Goldenberg put him on. After a few days, dr. Goldenberg charged my credit card for another visit that my son did not attend to. I dont understand HOw he expected to truat him with his medical skills to treat my son again after what happened before. it looks like money comes first to him and not the patient's well being.
