I started seeing Karine about 6 years ago when she first opened her private practice. I was in one of the darkest places in my life. I had horrific intrusive thoughts, horrible anxiety, terrible depression and so on. I barely graduated high school because I was scared of being in class. I couldn't go on freeways, I was unmotivated, I thought life was getting pointless and was even having thoughts that nobody should ever have in their life. Prior to Karine I've been to many therapists and a couple of psychiatrists. Now I know there are many great therapists out there but the ones I experienced didn't seem to genuinely care, or they didn't know how to tackle my problem. That was never the case with Karine. Coming to Karine felt (and still does) feel like I'm taking to a family member. She GENUINELY cares about your life. She cries with me, she laughs with me, she remembers every detail of our previous conversations, and she will take your phone calls during the day if you need an extra boost. I was sure I was going to be "disabled" forever, my mom would complain that I didn't even have $2 to go to Taco Bell. Regardless, they mislead you and give perspective patients a false sense of hope. Time to look for a legitimate facility.
