Dr Hunter has a unique sense of humor and has lots of interesting stories to keep you occupied during her exam. If you have ever felt like "just a number" or "just a patient" at another doctor give Dr Hunter a try. She listens to everything you have to say and I can tell is GENUINELY concerned about your health and well being. I have congestive heart failure, diabetes, high blood pressure, you name it. My other doctor had been prescribing the same medications FOREVER. Dr Hunter was not afraid to try some different meds and I am happy to say I have never done better. She will pray for you if requested. If a 6 or 7 was an available score, she would get it from me!!!!

But anything…read moreelse and he'll tell you, and I quote "I'm just a family doctor, I don't know how to help you". I heard this twice from him when I was begging him, desperate for help (referrals? Another different test to do? Disability paperwork filled out) This man made everything so difficult for me that I would have panic attacks and not be able to open his secure message responses to questions I asked for days. Because the answer was always "no" or him doubting me or making this process of trying to get something complicated diagnosed even harder by making me argue for every single thing. Like filling out short term disability paperwork when I was going on FMLA leave. Everything was already hard and he made it harder. The most recent time, when I called to ask their office manager what to do when the doctor can't help, I got a certified letter from Dr French firing me. Dr French wants to do the basic work and then go home and not think about his job or his patients. I kind of think he wants to not think about his patients when they're in the room too. He can play like he listens and play a good doctor, but when it really matters, he'll let you down every single time.

During my recent annual physical, she briefly asked me about my asthma, which I reported was stable and even improving. She then renewed my existing prescription, and we moved on. I was shocked to later receive a separate charge for an office visit based solely on that brief conversation. I am a relatively new patient and was not aware this was their billing practice. My previous doctor never charged me for this, so I will be returning to them as a patient. I also called the office for clarification, but unfortunately Dr. Abraham has not returned my call. In summary, if you have a minor medical condition that requires an annual prescription renewal, do not seek care at Rocky Hill Family Physicians.

I have been here multiple times and have had a horrible experience every time. This office is…read morenurse practitioners which is fine but one of them, Rose, does NOT care about her patients. Everytime I went in, she assumed what my condition was and never did a thorough job with asking questions or running a diagnostic if needed. Lana I liked a lot but I couldn't see her often due to work conflicts. She actually was the one that inspected me physically and found a cyst whereas rose just thought it was an infection and didn't bother to look or do any testing so I was taking meds I didn't need. I am NOW getting medical bills for visits back in AUGUST 2024. When I asked about them, I was told that rose is going through paperwork and making sure everything's correct. One of the bills is something I have NO idea what it's for because it wasn't explained back in my visits in August. I got an email as well saying I owed rose $150 and I paid them via care credit. When I called the office, the receptionist said in a nasty tone "she's going through her paperwork." I explained that I had paid for it via care credit and her response was "ok well she'll have to look over it and call you back". That was last week-nothing. The receptionists are horrible at communication. When I worked at a vet, we would at least leave a message for the dr. They have the option to text but never respond to that either. Just a horrible business.
