Love Dr. Bush! He spent a lot of time with me at my first appointment, answered all my questions, and shared a lot of info.

Sadly, this specialist office has gone the way of many before it, the patient is an object and no…read morelonger a person. No longer is the patient allowed to be in charge of their healthcare. If you follow the treatment plan they want you to, you will remain in their good graces. They give a little allowance for your own concerns specific to your case, but have very little tolerance to do so. They won't hesitate to make you aware that they are in charge, that you are not, and you have to do what they say. Anyone seeing a rheumatologist is usually suffering from chronic pain or an autoimmune condition causing pain as well as other problems. The individuals that elect to work in this field need to have a tremendous amount of compassion and the ability to listen to the patient. I found this office, the clinical staff and the administrative staff are lacking in this necessary attribute. The worst of them being the doctor. They want to compartmentalize your care and if it's not specific to their "wheelhouse" , then they don't want to touch it nor do they care to even hear about it. But the human body works as one, and sometimes these paths need to cross. They can't handle that and they won't handle that. If you dare push back, they will fire you from their practice and they won't think twice about it. I have no doubt that there are good providers that work under this office, but I have not met them or experienced their quality care. They have lost sight of the goal. I don't know if they're trying to accommodate some mold or some grant requirements but they are running a team of bullies. Now, if you want to fall in line and be a good little robot, then they'll be tickled to death to work with you, but you're not allowed to have an opinion or anything remotely close to one. Do not dare to stand against them! If you need specialized care, do not go here! you will not get it. You will be dismissed! Do not go here if you need compassion and empathy and patience for your circumstance. They will disappoint you! You will be dismissed! It shows that the staff there have spent little to no time dealing with an ill patient, in the midst of a flare, bedside in an inpatient setting. They like their ambulatory, walkie - talkies. not even low maintenance, they like no maintenance. Don't have a crisis. Don't need an immediate response on ANYTHING. They are not urgent care! Nor anywhere close to urgent care! Dont need them because they don't need you and they'll tell you that proudly. You will be DISMISSED! They have a checklist and an order of operations, and they will go by that list and you will as well or they will fire you. You may have clinical documentation of why you won't fit that mold and that you need exemption and exception. They will fire you and YOU WILL BE DISMISSED! It is apparent what they are doing is old fashioned bullying! No one should enter their doors as a new patient without being fully aware of how they are about to be treated. It is inhumane and so opposite of the hypocrite oath. And I will just say shame on WBB for supporting your OFFICE MANAGER who told me I had no rights as a patient! The state of Tennessee would disagree with you! I'll never believe that this office ever looked at my complete medical record and even if they had it, I don't believe for a moment they read it. I don't think they were prepared in this slightest for me to be the exception to the rule and the fact that they have no tolerance for that shows in how I was treated. They will fail you! And FIRE you. They will be offended and leave you in the lurch. It's disgusting but true. Be very careful. Exceptionally careful. I attempted to be open minded ever since my very first appointment. Outside of being told I have "PTSD" and to "see a therapist", that is the most recognition that I got that I might be different from all the others. Saying that didn't change their approach at all. In fact, this doctor seemed annoyed about my affliction and has ever since made me feel like I was doing something wrong.. They don't try to help or do they even attempt to get you help or anything to assist you. But they push, and then they push harder, then even harder for you to make the changes that they want. The doctor rules at this practice!
