In other reviews they criticize the self checkout but I did not see that so I went through the normal checkout. It was strange because I bought about 5-6 things and the checkout guy just scanned the stuff and left it there, no bag or anything. That was a little bizarre. Just this Monday I went in and the meat counter was empty, the butcher dept in the back was closed and completely black, and the freezer section was empty. Every time the excuse is "we lost power", how does one place lose power this often. Shelves are empty of basic grocery items. The only thing that there is plenty of is the large expensive candy section. I bought a gallon of milk last week, expiration date was this week and yet when I got the milk home is was disgusting. The employees are constantly changing there. They are never happy or nice. The older guy in the meat dept is the most miserable person I have ever encountered in customer service. He acts as though it is the biggest inconvenience to wait on customers. Living in the area, I really wish some other store would move into this location.

The store is large with many options. I was very shocked by the size and what they offer. Checker was not friendly which was very strange to me but maybe she was having a bad day. The first breakfast catering was wrong. I had ordered a 4 parfaits that serves 10-12 as I was hosting 40+ people. The driver was in coat with me and was waiting for the parfait. When the order arrived it was missing the yogurt and granola but did have 4 berry bowls and 4 individual parfaits. I did immediately call and the initially offered to take half the cost off, I did not believe this to be fair as I had only received the fruit which if purchased separately would have been significantly less. After being on hold for a few min they were able to credit back an acceptable amount. They also recognized that I also had an upcoming lunch and they would make sure it was correct. Lunch did come and it was correct and delicious. We have another order coming and hope it is correct

When they ring us up, they have always defaulted to organic, even when it's not organic. One employee stated he didn't even know that they carried non-organic items. The deli had a young man working there that used to be the only one who would follow our instructions on how we wanted our deli meat. Now, we get people who shave the meat a bit and then proceed to do whatever they want, even when it's not busy. During the period of COVID where masks were mandated. I witnessed multiple employees stocking shelves with their masks worn as gags. The meat department people are fantastic. They always do a great job. They answer questions and let you choose whatever piece you want. I want to suggest making the meat Manager the store manager. I'm giving this 2 stars because the meat department deserves 5 stars for service. And also because my parents didn't have grocery stores like this in their country, so I suppose I should be grateful. But my heart still tells me ZERO stars when it comes time to think about them ringing up my items.
