The store is large with many options. I was very shocked by the size and what they offer. Checker was not friendly which was very strange to me but maybe she was having a bad day. The first breakfast catering was wrong. I had ordered a 4 parfaits that serves 10-12 as I was hosting 40+ people. The driver was in coat with me and was waiting for the parfait. When the order arrived it was missing the yogurt and granola but did have 4 berry bowls and 4 individual parfaits. I did immediately call and the initially offered to take half the cost off, I did not believe this to be fair as I had only received the fruit which if purchased separately would have been significantly less. After being on hold for a few min they were able to credit back an acceptable amount. They also recognized that I also had an upcoming lunch and they would make sure it was correct. Lunch did come and it was correct and delicious. We have another order coming and hope it is correct

My wife was only able to get through half of her sandwich. Since we were bringing the sandwiches home, we chose not to get any drinks or sides. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Service was friendly and efficient. You order at the counter and they call you when it's ready. No long wait, even with a few people ahead of us. So that being said, this has rapidly become our new favorite supermarket in the area. Of course, some prices could be a tad bit cheaper, but that could easily be said for just about anything or anywhere! We've always had nothing but all-positive experiences and outstanding customer service at this location, with no snags or complaints whatsoever. And if anything was ever wrong (per se), the Manager would always make it up to their customer(s) in fine style, with 100% certainty. So- I walked in about 5pm on a Wednesday for a quick item; chopped meat or hamburgers. Found an item, but no price. Asked three workers hanging out together behind the fish department chatting over an iPhone photo and asked for the price. They said that I needed to ask the "meat department guy" - who was nowhere to be found. Then they said, "take it up to the front desk" Up to the from desk I went to three more employees AND a manager standing chatting, laughing, fairly immersed in their socialization. Reported to the manager " no price on item" he replied ok, the desk worker will let me know. I responded if I "should write the price on if myself," he said "sure, go ahead." I think the thought I was serious. Item was too high price for me, so I took it back and exchanged it for another product and off I go. Okay an item wasn't priced - this sometimes happens and it can be fixed. But the service? How does one really fix that ? Service has slipped at Shop Rite. Gone are the days of employees actually looking to serve patrons with a smile and willing to go that extra length to accommodate. Public: get a job at Shop Rite. You can stand around, chat with coworkers, laugh at the lost customers AND get paid. As usual, it all comes down to management.

Awful Shop Rite! We've tried to be really understanding but…read more.... Many times their sale items are not available or out of stock on day one. I know the employees work really hard but this site is mismanaged. And a woman spending 10 minutes with her lottery tickets at Customer Service desk and I'm told by a young mother with a small girl in front of us, SR employees were allowing customers to cut the line twice in front of her. The lady with the tickets after being helped decided to cut the line again in front of us and Joy SR clerk allowed her to do so. Empathy and compassion only go so far. Fix your problem and until you do well just shop at the other Shop Rite locations near us. The store is clean I'll give them that....
