Mr. Lira finally returned my innumerable calls after nine (9) months of trying. Mr. Lira charged me on three different occasions for preparation of Arbitration papers, which he (Mr. Lira) never filed. I was misled about the statutes of limitation for my particular case. I was lied to about settling my case in court rather than arbitration. Based.on my employers contract agreement, which Mr. Lira was furnished with, Mr.Lira knew that settlement could only be done through arbitration. The retainer agreement stated that the Attorney will make every effort to expedite this matter (case) according to the highest legal and ethical standards, this was never a reality since it took him 9 months to return my calls. Then Mr. Lira lied by saying that he hadn't called because they were changing some employment laws, and it would have benefited me better to wait until those laws were put into effect. Mr.Lira called looking for further funds to rebuild my initial retainer agreement of $7500.00, his attitude which included shouting was very unprofessional as I responded that I had sent him $500.00 a few weeks ago and will send more in a while.
