She ask me if I want that on croissant or ciabatta. I say ciabatta. She asks me if I want it heated? I say well the bread toasted yes. She is very friendly by the way. So I being the only customer wait for my sandwich. I get it wrapped in foil. Peel it open and the foil sticks to the hot bread (lol) no problem. I'll pick that off. I take a bite and taste no bacon so I open it up and it's bacon bits. Lol. The entire sandwich is hot so I'm eating hot lettuce hot tomato. I decided to just enjoy the bread Lol. They were super quiet in the mid-afternoon when I stopped by. The establishment was clean and although I don't know if I'd say it had a particularly established "vibe," it was a nice space. I was greeted quickly by a friendly employee. Their large menu is posted on the wall and they had a lot of selections. In addition to coffee, they have smoothies, lemonade, and energy drink refreshers, as well as some small bites like cake pops and bagels. The employee was quick to offer assistance and gave recommendations based on the things I said I liked. I wound up ordering a "Dude Brew" latte, which is a white mocha with peanut butter and caramel flavors. I really like peanut butter mochas and don't see them at shops that often, so I was excited to try this one. It was prepared for me quickly and the drink was quite pretty when it came out. It was also, I thought, quite generous in size in relation to the price. Overall, I liked the drink. It had a discernible and enjoyable peanut butter flavor and the white mocha didn't taste artificial (definitely something I've struggled with at other shops I've tried lately). Personally, I didn't detect any caramel flavor and I thought it was a little heavy on the milk, but I definitely liked the drink and would probably order it again. I think it's technically a dairy bar, of which there are several remaining in the north Alabama / southern TN area - a few of which are also, somewhat confusingly, named Kreme Delite. However, the other dairy bars I've visited have slightly more extensive menus than this one (usually including chicken tenders, burgers, and other typical fast food items, though usually done better than a McDonald's or Burger King). This location only offers ice cream (soft serve) creations and hot dogs. Limited options if you want a real meal. On this visit, however, I just wanted a treat. They have soft serve in scoops or cones, milkshakes, and I believe soda floats. You walk up to counter and order while staff waits on you at a window. There isn't really any seating that I recall; I ate in my car. That said, service was supremely bubbly and nice -- the young woman who took my order was very friendly and warm. My order was prepared quickly. I got a cup of vanilla and chocolate soft serve swirl. I didn't want it to be completely plain so I got crumbled Reese's cups on top. The pricing is a little...confusing, I guess. A small cup of ice cream is $2.94, which given the size of the serving, is extremely generous. However, to add any toppings, it's $1.88 for each topping. This seems like a lot for crumbled Reese's. It was a LOT of crumbled Reese's, so I guess not completely incongruous pricing, but personally I'd prefer a small smattering for like .99 cents rather than a veritable candy bar on top of my ice cream for almost $2. Idk, maybe that's just personal preference. Anyway, my MASSIVE treat was decent! I have a strong preference for fattier, denser ice cream as opposed to soft serve, but for what it was, the vanilla and chocolate both were fairly flavorful. They were also both quite smooth, as good soft serve should be. I enjoyed the pile of crumbled Reese's cups on top. Personally, I don't think I liked it well enough that I'd return with any particular regularity, but that's probably more a personal preference than anything. If you like soft serve treats, I imagine this place would do the trick quite well.

I wanted a big breakfast so I chose two of the pigs in a blanket made with full size sausage dogs. Then I also couldn't pass up the face-sized cinnamon roll for just a $1.50 which I planned to save for later. Sausage dogs were very good and filling. Croissant roll tasted freshly baked. Believe it or not I actually saved the giant cinnamon roll for my next morning's breakfast. It was still very good but tasted more like a donut than a cinnamon roll dough. Reviews from friends on the donuts have also been all thumbs up!

The Falkville downtown is very small and quaint but cute. There's street parking right in front of the shop and I nabbed a spot. I walked into a really adorable environment - it felt super homey and several people were at work on laptops or chatting. They also had a few selections of local crafts and gifts, which I enjoyed checking out. They have small bites and cafe type breakfast and lunch items (eg paninis, breakfast sandwiches, cookies, muffins, etc) and an extensive hot and iced drink menu. They did have some Valentine's Day styled seasonal specialty lattes advertised, but I didn't really like the sound/flavor combinations of any of them. Instead, I was able to build my own latte with flavor add-ins, which is nice. I ordered an iced latte with dark chocolate and maybe cinnamon? It's been a while since my visit but I seem to recall cinnamon. The service was adequate; my drink was ready in a timely fashion and the barista checked to see if I wanted an alternative milk. However, I didn't get the most friendly vibe and when I asked about the specialty drinks (e.g., which one is your favorite?) the answer was pretty flat and noncommittal. Idk, just a slightly weird vibe. Nothing crazy unpleasant, I just didn't feel very welcome, I guess. No biggie, I wanted to start the drive home anyway. I enjoyed my drink. It was nicely balanced and I could definitely taste the dark chocolate. And, unless I'm hallucinating this memory/flavor add-in, the cinnamon gave it a nice kick. It was a pleasant pick-me-up on the ride home. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping by for a tasty drink and some fun decor/gift shopping.

They have coffee, smoothie, and some snacks and cafe type meals like grilled cheeses. I didn't see any specialty drinks but there were a LOT of flavor add-ins. I saw an option for chocolate peanut butter which I immediately jumped on. This is a somewhat uncommon flavor -- in fact, I've only had it once at another coffee stop -- and so I was excited! Iced lattes come in three sizes; I got the smallest. The price was about what you'd expect. Service was truly lovely! Lady at the drive through had such a nice disposition and seemed very happy and kind. My drink came out quickly. However, taste-wise, it didn't really deliver for me. It had a very gritty texture that wasn't pleasant, and not much discernible peanut butter flavor. The coffee flavor itself was a little on the acidic side but terrible. Just overall not my favorite. The drink was really pretty to look at, though! Perhaps I got the wrong flavor add-in. I'd be willing to give them another try someday.

Came through here to grab a coffee to drink on my way home after spending the day in Hartselle…read more This coffeeshop occupies a surprisingly large space in the cute little downtown. They have lots of comfy indoor seating and a small patio as well. They have a fairly in-depth selection of typical coffeeshop food -- sandwiches, bagels, muffins, etc. They have a LOT of baked goods and dessert type offerings, and a large cooler with grab and go snacks and desserts, like pasta salad, juices and other cold drinks, and even cheesecake and strawberry pretzel salad. Service was adequate - seemed a bit in a hurry to complete my order. I noticed by the time I was done collecting a straw, some napkins, etc, the barista had rejoined her friends seated on some of the couches to chat. Still, she wasn't impolite and my order was prepared quickly and correctly, so not a huge deal. I ordered a smaller sized iced latte with both peanut butter and chocolate fudge flavorings. They have a massive list of flavor shots you can add to your lattes, which was fun! Didn't see any specialty drinks of their own creation but I figured you couldn't go wrong with a peanut butter cup type of deal, thus my selection. I wasn't disappointed! It was sweet and creamy and had the right amount of ice. Honestly maybe a little low on espresso flavor (perhaps a smidge too much milk?) but I was happy overall. I also got a cookie for dessert later that evening. It looked like one of those no-bake oatmeal chocolate cookies. I enjoyed that, too. Overall, I'd definitely return for another drink if and when I find myself in the area again. This seems to be some of the only game in town for coffee, but luckily it's a solid option! Will try some strawberry pretzel salad next time, too. :)
