They were super quiet in the mid-afternoon when I stopped by. The establishment was clean and although I don't know if I'd say it had a particularly established "vibe," it was a nice space. I was greeted quickly by a friendly employee. Their large menu is posted on the wall and they had a lot of selections. In addition to coffee, they have smoothies, lemonade, and energy drink refreshers, as well as some small bites like cake pops and bagels. The employee was quick to offer assistance and gave recommendations based on the things I said I liked. I wound up ordering a "Dude Brew" latte, which is a white mocha with peanut butter and caramel flavors. I really like peanut butter mochas and don't see them at shops that often, so I was excited to try this one. It was prepared for me quickly and the drink was quite pretty when it came out. It was also, I thought, quite generous in size in relation to the price. Overall, I liked the drink. It had a discernible and enjoyable peanut butter flavor and the white mocha didn't taste artificial (definitely something I've struggled with at other shops I've tried lately). Personally, I didn't detect any caramel flavor and I thought it was a little heavy on the milk, but I definitely liked the drink and would probably order it again. To be totally transparent, I honestly am not the hugest fan of donuts, so my opinion may not be the most informed. There's plenty of room to park and I like that they stay open a little later than many other places that offer donuts. It's more spacious than I thought it would be inside and there are a few tables to sit at. The trash cans looked a little full and one table had some sugar spilled on it but other than that it was clean and warm. Donuts are displayed in a case by the register. There were a LOT of choices and I remember it being mostly unlabeled so I kind of had to guess based on appearance. There was a menu on the wall but one couldn't necessarily 100% reliably match the listed items to their counterparts in the case. Not a huge deal, but would be a positive change imo to add labels next to the actual donuts. Anyway, I wound up with a chocolate cake donut, a blueberry cake donut, and a chocolate glazed regular/fried donut with peanuts on top. The woman operating the cashier was supremely pleasant and really made my visit - she was just so warm and friendly. She threw in a couple donut holes, either as a kindness or perhaps because they were nearing closing time anyway. Regardless, the were appreciated! I brought the donuts home to my husband and we ate them for dessert later. He likes fried donuts more so he got about 80% of the fried (I wanted a little bite lol), I ate the blueberry donut, and we split the chocolate cake donut and donut holes. The holes were airy and had a nice vanilla flavor. The traditional fried donut was a little dry and the glaze a little waxy, but the peanuts were a nice addition. The chocolate cake donut was heavy and the sugary exterior was crackly in a way I didn't particularly love, but it was tolerable. The blueberry cake donut was my favorite part, as it was fluffy and not overly sweet. Again, I tend to be kind of hard on donuts because they're just not my favorite treat, so definitely give them a shot and see for yourself how you feel about them. This is a locally owned mom donut shop I believe. The sweet lady behind the counter was busy with customers ahead of us. She has 3 other people working behind the counter so the wait isn't long. You need to get there early in the day for the large selection. We got there about 2 hours before closing. Because there were people ahead of us I watched 3 dozen pastries go out the door. The selections were slim but something is better than nothing. I purchased a cream cheese filled donut and a chocolate donut to go. The cream cheese filled donut was divine. Hubs asked me why I didn't buy more. I bought the last one that's why I didn't buy more. The chocolate donut was very good but not as good as the cream cheese filled donut. The pastry was soft, not overly sweet and the delicious cream cheese filling was velvety and not very sweet resulting in delicious bites. We highly recommend this store.
