Paperwork went fast and I was seen a little early. Elizabeth, the tech was very thorough and knowledgeable. I enjoyed answering her questions and she eased my mind about all these tests. My vision is not bad but I must say after the drops were put in eyes it gets a little strange. Pupil's are dilated.& objects look strange. ( LOL ) Doctor will see me next. I found all the tests results very informative. I was educated about my eyes that I did not know. The doctor did not try to push buying glasses on me which I appreciated. Completely screwed up my prescription. Made me go back three times before they diagnosed me correctly (hopefully). Cost me hundreds of dollars, and didn't do anything about it. If you need a prescription for glasses, go anywhere else but here. Visionworks has fantastic customer service. I wish people in the medical field still cared about their patients. I was so nervous about this surgery as I have a horrible phobia of anything close to my eyes. My fear was groundless. I have had many surgeries over the years and this one was by far the easiest. Would not recommend this business. They billed me incorrectly (their error not mine) 3 times . And wait until I come in pain to inform me that if I want to see the doctor I have to pay the balance right then. No big deal to a doctor or his staff but a single mom $50 is a huge deal. My eye is in pain and I have to see a doctor before it gets worse. Just lost a patient. I will not return after 6 years of using this office. read more

Our special needs teen suddenly had a horribly infected eye as we were on our way home from a trip, and Berry Stewart Eye Center told me to bring her in as soon as we got into town. They were kind, courteous, thorough, gentle, and knowledgeable, and made QUICK arrangements for her to see the proper specialist THE NEXT DAY (you know how long it takes to get into a specialist?!?!?!). That specialist had to do surgery to drain the abscess in her eyelid, and within 48 hours of the beginning of a painful nightmare, our Joy was back to normal. by far the most terrible place to do business with.my mother cancelled her appt due to complications with her dialysis after she had already given them a check in the full amount of her cataract surgery so the check was to be returned and not cashed.ASHLEY still felt the need to deposit the check even though a note was put in my mothers file that she had passed away.the check was deposited amidst my family making funeral arrangements and trying to bury my mother.we werent able to pay for her headstone and my fathers rent check bounced in the process of it all.ASHLEY told us we had to wait for a bookeeper to come in to alleviate the issue,but she was out this week we will have to wait the following week.ASHLEY is by far the rudest person i have ever had to deal with in this kind of environment.my family still hasnt received the money back as of this posting,and now we are having to find my father another place to live bc Berry Stewart Eye Center feels like this issue isnt important enough to resolve in a timely manner. read more
