Ali did a great job making our son feel comfortable. He talked to my son, let him choose clippers and turn them on and made him feel very comfortable and involved. He was understanding with us taking a million pictures and wanting to keep some curls. My 2-year-old got a great first cut, line up included with no tears. I didn't even need to break out screens or snacks! Highly recommend Ali and the rest of Kingdom barbershop for kids, but it also looked like they do great cuts for men and beards too.

Someone told me to never hate someone for their hustle, but I think when you overcharge for services, you are setting yourself up for failure. I don't care how good a haircut is, it's only worth so much money, and unless your appointments are 100% on time and every cut you give is clean, you are opening yourself up to criticism. I think you will get a solid hair cut here, but I also think you could get the same cut elsewhere for about $7 less.

My favorite barbershop. I'm VERY picky about who I let cut my hair bc I'm EXTREMELY particular about how it is done. I'm mean down to what kind of blade is used... I know, I'm ridiculous. When we first moved out here to Washington, my amazing wife surprised me with a cut at Squire's in Seattle. She knows how much I love a properly done hot shave. I want an ACTUAL barber who can use a straight blade on the head and is competent and confident enough to do so. Of course, I was more giddy for that appointment than a late 80's Japanese schoolgirl at a New Kids On The Block concert with JTT as their date after hanging out all day with Blossom. It really is a great shop. I mean, they all look like hipsters... and they charge prices that make me wonder if something should have been happening under the hair barrier blanket too... but they give an excellent haircut!! With my wife in school, we just can't afford to maintain my hairstyle at their prices. So, in search of The Chosen One, A.K.A. my new barber. Berry's Barber Shop was recommended by nearly EVERYONE I asked. Over and over I was told to go there. So naturally, I went to some other barber on the South end of town. Lost Art or something. I sincerely hope they find the art one day, bc afterwards rushed over to Berry's to have that mess fixed. I'll never go anywhere else as long as I'm here. Billy and Berry provide a great atmosphere, with constant conversion about everything from sports to politics to family to religion. But, of course, the main thing you'll notice, are the clients. Most shops have a particular clientele. And there is nothing wrong with knowing your audience. But these men have no limit to their range of ability. Any and ALL hair types, lengths, styles. Man, woman, old, young, white, black, Asian, Latino, Hispanic, Poly. Almost makes me feel like I'm back home in Miami. Try Berry's Barber Shop. I dare you. **Side note, they are extremely military friendly here. This is a locally operated business owned by two locals who are very active in giving back to the community.
