Here goes with more details since my original review was removed and im sure these people removed it. I came here for my very first time here to do my taxes. Everything seemed great in the beginning but once we finished i was told i needed to pay back penalty for not having insurance which I understand but i had medical expenses throughout the year and I mentioned it to her and she ignored me which I thought she didn't say anything because I assumed nothing could be done and i come to find out with multiple other tax preparation places that i wouldn't have to pay after adding those expenses, I tried calling them and they seemed bothered with my call which is not professional at all, i didn't try again and left everything as is, i will be paying a fee for no reason. I noticed this is not the first time people have called and have received attitude. Will not be going back for sure. Should've of gone to original tax prep that i used originally. They claim to have years of experience and seems like they dont. She also had told me a price over the phone and when we finished i was charged more. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

Javier was excellent. He was honest and very respectful. He was straightforward, and provided me with every option available. Most importantly, he didn't BS me. Prices are reasonable, depending on what forms you have. There is a $20 fee for direct deposit, and there is a $10 fee if you go in just for a consultation. They only accept CASH, no check or credit. So be prepared. I wasn't, but luckily there are numerous banks down the street on Atlantic. Parking is kind of limited, since the liquor store is shiesty with their parking lot, but there's a few parking spaces along the side of the building. I definitely would recommend to anyone in the LA area! Go get your taxes done by Javier, he saved me a lot of money, and I am happy!!! :) read more

During the Covid pandemic it's nice to have found a family run business that is still doing good old fashioned face-to-face tax services, albeit with a plexiglass panel between us, all of us wearing masks for protection, and a limited number of people allowed in the office at any one time. This family run operation understands how to create a pleasant atmosphere. As soon as you enter the establishment you are greeted with a smile, a hello, and as much conversation as you're in the mood for. The mother and son team sits at separate desks, and they work on separate taxes, yet they are constantly going back and forth and offering assistance to one another, and making sure neither hasn't missed a thing in completing your taxes. On top of that, the father is constantly roaming around doing whatever is needed to keep things moving along smoothly. I will actually venture to say these people really, truly enjoy doing taxes, and take pride in doing a good job at it.
