Before I started using Berumen Income Tax Service I was with HR Block, and every year my fee kept getting bigger and bigger for the same amount of work, and the lady I kept going to was always saying "for doing your taxes with me I'm gonna give you a discount' O.o Imagine if she didn't !! Even tho Javier has been a friend of mine for some time and always asked me to do my taxes with him I never did, I was hesitant and skeptical. Finally two years ago I said Ok I'm gonna give them a try, besides his mom is a lovely lady how can I say no to her!! lol! I was impressed on how fast, accurate and professional they were!! there was no time wasted, answered all my questions and got me a great refund. And thats what you want when it comes to taxes. Im never going back to HRS or anywhere else for that matter. Parking is limited but there is street parking so don't worry, they do get busy so give them a call and make an appointment or see whats a good time to swing by. It's ok. Nice customer service. But I double checked my taxes online after doing them here and I caught a mistake. I went back and called them and they resolved and amended my return for free, GREAT!! I did have to go back to sign new forms, not so much a big deal. But a week after I received another form, oops! I called them back and they were charging me $70 and with new return supposedly I would have to return around $550 of my refund. Cmon now, I did not charge them $70 when they messed up and amended it the first time when I had to go back and waste time. Anyways, I ended up going elsewhere to amend return again for $60 and the other company was knowledgeable enough to help me out and I did NOT have to return the $550 of my refund. Sorry to say, I won't be coming here again. read more
