Our dishwasher has been broken for two months. The manufacturer had us go through Besko's for a repair. We've been asked to call them back 3-4 times at this point for a part that they allegedly ordered but for some reason can't tell us the status of. Why would I even consider buying a new, replacement appliance from this place if they can't answer basic questions and shove all the responsibility on the customer to offer basic service (communicating status). Giving people the run around like this is insultingly unprofessional. Would not recommend. read more

When my 15 year old microwave died last weekend, I decided to replace it due to the large repair costs. I shopped Home Depot, Lowes, & Bestbuy websites where I would normally go for appliances. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that Besko's prices for the Whirlpool model that I was looking for was the same as at the big box stores - I wasn't expecting that. They referred me to a reliable contractor who did the installation and by Thursday morning, my new Whirlpool microwave was installed and working! Easy peasy.... read more

My refrigerator was having problems so I looked up appliance sales and repair and saw Besko's. I called and spoke with someone. He asked if I bought my appliance there and I said no and asked if that was a problem. He replied no and took a message and told me that Mr. Besko would call me on Friday afternoon and if not, then Monday. Needless to say, that never happened. I spoke with a reliable source and was told that he only likes to repair the appliances that were purchased at Besko's. That should be stated in his ad or the employee should have told me that. Not returning a potential customer's call is bad for business. If this is how he conducts business, I wouldn't go there for sales or service. read more

I'm not sure what it is but this is the second time I've tired to shop locally for house hold appliances and each time it is as though this business does not want my business. The first time I went in to the store and the salesman was uninterested in helping me but more than that, even when I asked for information on a specific item I was told I could find all the information on line. The second attempt at buying from Besko's was an email inquiry about a washer/dryer & stove/refrigerator...nothing, not a peep. Really? In the middle of a medical emergency we had to consider buying a washer/dryer. We purchased a washer and a gas dryer at Besko's. It was a perfect purchase. We went there late on a Friday afternoon to purchase appliances because of a leak in our drum. The washer/dryer was very old and we needed new ones. We appreciated Ryan who sold us the Maytag machines and he offered to match any price.....same model.....from another store. I didn't have the model that was on sale but looked it up when we got home. He matched it and saved us about $200 dollars. I thank you Besko's. My husband and I recently moved to the area and went to Besko's as a result of the recommendation from our realtor. We were not disappointed. It is a small appliance store but the service, product information, guidance and advice offered was more than we expected. We purchased a new washer and dryer at comparable cost to other retailers and with a lot more confidence in our purchase. The delivery was exceptional and installation went smoothly. I was in the middle of a nightmare experience with best buy and needed something better. i never though to use a smaller store thinking that it would be too expensive. WOW was i wrong. Firstly, the service i got was perfect, from my in-store experience to delivery of my washer/dryer. Another win was that everyone was professional and knew what they were doing. AND, the machines I bought were $150 less expensive than best buy after a surprise rebate. I am converted and will never use a big box store for appliances again. read more

After going to all the big box stores that lack personality and feeling as though I was just another being my friend suggested I look at beskos. I wanted to share an interesting and very positive experience my wife and I had replacing our appliances with Besko's in Easthampton. Our microwave and oven both died in the same week. The fridge and dishwasher are 10 years old and it was time for a full replacement. Since we only buy appliances once every decade we had little clue what the latest and greatest brands and features are. Our first trip was to the big box stores (Home Depot and Lowes). While both stores had lots of displays their appliance experts to my surprise knew very little more than I did. They could give me a price and a date they could be delivered, but when I asked anything additional they stood with me in front of a computer to reference Home Depot on-line. That was a struggle and got frustrating. Our next call was to our local appliance store in town Besko's Appliance. The difference was immediate and uplifting. They took the time to ask both of us questions, our preferences and our habits in the kitchen. They also took the time to explain why they would and more importantly wouldn't recommend certain features. In the end they recommended a few different options and explained the differences. I was just as surprised by the fact they met or even beat prices from the big box stores. They helped coordinated and schedule the delivery and installation and all went as stated. The team that came to the house were very professional and took pride in their work. They took the time to ensure the floor was protected where needed and that I was fully satisfied with everything. I would highly recommend anyone shopping for any appliances to include Besko's. We experienced a personal touch service, great prices delivered by a team of dedicated professionals. read more
