I was told that "taking pictures of the merchandise was not allowed" and was asked to delete it. When I told them I had sent it my girlfriend they said don't take any more. Funny, I had around $50 of product in my hand I intended to buy, which I promptly put down on the counter nearby and left the store. Lost sale for them. (No signs near on doors or anything stating not to take pictures; my picture didn't even include people.) I'd never seen anyone cash out here either come to think of it. Some demo items were missing or had pieces of them missing, as if they had been stolen, other things out of place. Some of the furniture was kinda dirty but hey, it was wintertime, I try to cut some of these businesses some slack during the slow season. I shouldn't have stuck around as long as I did before this incident. After I left they had the audacity to call mall security! Fortunately the security folks were professional and nice, they didn't harass me too much, and I was never arrested or charged with anything. After all this bs I hope the whole company goes bankrupt and I don't want to see another brookstone again! I was only showing my girlfriend something cool. I don't see why anyone can't photograph product, if anything it would help promote product.

We were told to wait 24 hours be for we close the door and turn the fridge back on. Went to fill the fridge and the crack was back. Went to Mannys in Canton CT to pick out a new fridge as I had 5 year warranty. The repairman was there and said it was a 50% chance it would work - not good odds. Thursday I got a call that my fridge is in and it would be delivered Saturday. I never heard what time they were coming so I called the store and they said it wasn't scheduled and next delivery would be Tuesday ugh! Of course I emptied and un plugged the fridge which is a lot of work. So now every time I need something from the fridge I need to get it from the garage floor and downstairs for the freezer. I have referred a lot of people to Mannys but not anymore. Maybe I should just get my money back and go to Home Depot.

The extended premium 60-month warranty is worth $0 but cost $160 per machine. Don't buy it! It may be in part due to the unrealistic regulations that manufactures cannot build a machine that last more than 2 or 3 years and therefore the logic to purchase the extended warranty. However, poor performance or featured cycles that do not work over time are just dismissed as "not covered but we can fix it for $$$$ or just don't use that feature" Customer Service is a thing of the past, now I purchase relatively inexpensive washers & dryers, no extended warranties and expect to toss them out every 2 or 3 years; how is that for saving the environment!

They have been overly accommodating and very helpful. This review is solely of the Holyoke mall store and the supervisor on duty Saturday 4/20. We ordered a custom farm table and have been trying to match Wynn ladderback chairs and are deciding between two colors. The Holyoke mall store had one of the colors in stock and we wanted to purchase it to see if it matched the best with our table. These chairs retail for around $300 per chair. We explained to the salesperson our situation and she was very nice and said she could discount it 20% since it was a floor model. We said great and explained that we would be back to order either the other three of the same color or return it and order four of the other color if this one didn't work out. The supervision came out and told us that if we purchased the floor model there was no way to return it. We explained our situation again and she said sorry can't help you. As we were walking out of the store without the chair, this supervisor had the audacity to ask us if we purchased anything online then to please do it through the Holyoke store so they would get credit. I will never purchase another thing from this store and hope someone from corporate looks into how they are treating valued PB customers.

There were many employees, but none of them seemed like they wanted to help me. I went to a register that I saw someone working at just before I walked up. He went to decorate the tree, he was a store manager, I think. His name was Glen. Either way, I waited there for about ten minutes while he was decorating a tree right behind me and he just ignored me. I went to a register that was ringing up another lady, who was an employee exchanging an item and she had two people tending to her. I waited patiently as the other lady was going to start ringing me up, but she got caught up in conversation with the off duty employee. Really?!? Never did they say sorry for the wait or anything. I was disgusted with their customer service and their SNOBBY employees. Did you forget? You're a mall employee! I will never spend a dollar there. I asked if they had the rope floor lamp here because I saw it in the magazine. But the cashier just said "if you didn't see it, we don't have it." And she left it at that. Rude! The Holyoke post office holds my mail against me. My payment was not due until today. And all month…read morelong they would lock my mail box. So I had no choice but to stand in line for an hour or more just so they would unlock it. I ordered a new card from my bank due to theft. And it was not until two months later they put all five cards that I had to continue to ask to be reordered in my box the same exact day....there's no way each card was ordered a week or two apart from one another and all got there the same day... They sent my mail to my new address instead of holding it like they should have. And I have been waiting on a paycheck for an exact month; my employer said the checks already went out. The first check for this employer was the mail that got sent to my apartment instead of held at my P.O. Box and this second check is no where to be found. This place has behaved so sketchy for a place that was suppose to keep my mail safe from being stolen.

We had a disastrous experience of delivery and damage to our home. Their 2 delivery men fell…read morebackwards down our stairs, dented the machine, gouged our walls and stairs of a newer home. It is challenging to get the repair done as the damage were deep gouges on the landing levels. Challening to replace and repair. We were promised by their logistics representative, that has now left the company to run his own business. Promises have not been kept. I am hopeful that they still might come through. My husband repaired with painting and spackling our walls. The stairs are much harder. I will write again once it is completed. Without the man, Mike, who made promises, and seemed sincere, it seems promises might not be kept. Be careful. They replaced the machine and it came dented, but in a way we couldn't see. And we didn't want another experience with delivery. We should have been compensated for this mess. None yet.
