The place was busy and at one point two Moms just started going through a rack of shoes in front of my wife ignoring the fact she was looking for a particular size of shoe in the corner of the store. We were given assistance and found what we needed but with several families shopping it was tough to find what we needed quickly. At least they had chairs to sit on. I think the prices were not really that great so I think it depends on what you are looking for.

I ordered my mother an arrangement online through Rita's florists they basically put orders out to…read morelocal florists in the area you need and those florists take the bid and fulfill them. When they fulfill them they are given the "recipe" for the ARRANGEMENT, (in my case the standard pretty please arrangement)and they accept the price they are being paid to fulfill that arrangement. Heather House decided to accept the order and the price for the order. On their own website they have the exact same arrangement I ordered and it's listed as a "best seller". Which means they arrange it more regularly you would presume right? So how does the recipe differ based on the accepted price?! Well let me tell you how it differs. Heather House themselves (Patti actually which I believe was actually Neil using a false name)took the order, went to her refrigerator pulled out the flowers that she felt came closest to the ones in the arrangement, threw the stems in a vase and put a bow on the vase and that was the extent of time she took. She did not attempt to match the flowers to the arranged specifications of the standard pretty please arrangement in any way. When my mother sent me photos I was astonished that they felt it was worth more than $10! I could go and buy those flowers in an unarranged bouquet for $5.99! I could have bought a dollar store vase and thrown them in there and threw a bow on it myself for far less money! When I called I got their answering machine so I left a very nice simple message to please call me back. "Patti" did and well she was brash and abrasive and combative to say the least. She felt she needed to question why I used an online service. Truth be told it's not hers to ask but I was shopping for a florist in the area and many of them were too busy to fulfill an order in two days. She then got very loud and stated she only got paid $21 for the arrangement plus $10 delivery fee. I felt that if you accept the order you accept the price and you agree to deliver what the customer ordered, and I stated so. This only led to her growing frustrated and she started to talk about how the Internet misrepresents the arrangements and it's a ripoff and then she has to deal with the backlash. Which I don't understand because I can order online through her site looking at the same picture of the same arrangement,it should not be different just because you go through another company. If you accept the order you should deliver the goods as they should be. Anyways she then said I didn't understand the floral arranging business. That she gets a recipe card for the arrangement and goes off of that and she always ups her prices because you can't make the arrangements with the amount of flowers they put on it. Ok this is where my biggest complaint comes in. She didn't have to accept the order!! She could of seen it said not possible and moved on. She accepted it therefore she should deliver. Instead she rather lose potential customers by sending a pathetic display no where near what was ordered and paid for and then argue with the customer how she couldn't arrange it for the amount she got paid. That shows little talent as well as a huge problem with customer service skills. After explanation of how she couldn't fulfill the order properly I again asked why she took the order if she couldn't do the job well. She stated she needed to clean her fridge out for Valentine's Day! So now you admit you felt the person receiving it didn't deserve the arrangement that was ordered and just should settle for what you felt like giving them?! Wow that's a great mindset to have for customer service! She kept telling me I didn't understand the business and wished me good luck in the future and hung up on me! I am at disbelief someone can be in the business of making things beautiful and be so incredibly rude and discourteous. Not an effort was given for the arrangement or the customer. But don't just take my word check her BBB rating you can see the wonderful "customer service" in action. Very arrogant and will not back their work well unless you paid out the nose. Her response to my complaint online is to take to her businesses fb page and spew lies about how much was paid for the arrangement by ME! She got a portion of what I paid not my doing...she says I expected the flowers to be redelivered for free I never said a word about that I wasn't allowed to speak long enough she just started yelling about how little she got paid and then went into a lecture about Internet ordering and how she hates it. My simple response why did you take the order?! I don't normally complain but her condescension and rudeness is off the charts and no one else should be subject to that kind of attitude. Floral design IS an art form and customer service is important. meshing them together is key. I'm beyond sorry she accepted the order for both sides. She has the ability that's what makes it worse she just didn't care to do better.
