So I stopped here in a whim as I was in need of a necklace and bracelet being repaired. I searched Yelp first obviously and took a Lyft here. The doors are locked and you have to be buzzed in. Same for the second door so they take security very seriously. Granted it is a jewelry store so it makes sense. I was greeted warmly by two different women. There was a lot of gold around me and silver and the red carpet below made it feel like I was in a Chinese palace of sorts. The store has been around for quite some time as I inquired about it with the attendant I spoke to so it tells me they must be a staple in the community. They fixed my necklace and bracelet right away in a matter of minutes, and the lady even took the time to ask me which clasp I preferred more and showed me a variety of options. I was very grateful. She even hBe me this small pair of pearl earrings complimentary. I think the cost for the repairs was appropriate given the quality of my items. They weren't fine jewelry so it made sense. Overall I was satisfied with the service I received. The attendants were friendly and my items got fixed. Win win! read more

I stopped into this small jewel box of a shop for a small repair. It's a few blocks east of the Italian Market, but it feels like it's worlds away. Aleena Ea & her husband, Yan, have created a sparkling shop offering outstanding customer service & a gorgeous selection of fine jewelry. I'd been here before so I knew I'd have a few moments to while my piece was being repaired to browse the beautifully displayed jewelry, but, before I made my way through half the shop, my repair was finished. 4 days ago, Aleena called me back I feel like after she realized who I was& seeing my review. The first thing the says to me is that she helped my sister with her wedding bands and then says to me that if she knew who I was she would have known that I was the one who bought this bracelet and said that my purchase was within a month, so that means I can come back and exchange my bracelet for full value. It's funny, because she said on the phone their policy falls within two weeks of purchase so, you are allowed to exchange but you would lose value. I don't see what the misunderstanding was. Now they're offering a full refund because I supposedly can't come in, but in reality I refused. I told them I'm not willing to do business with them anymore, because at the end of the day, what she told me first is most likely how they treat their customers. It wasn't until she realized who I was that she decided to try and work with me. I urge you to be very careful when shopping here. They are very nice from the outside, but when there's a problem, they look the other way. They're only worried about making money here. read more

I've been a customer of sunshine for 5 years and yesterday my wife and I stopped by to get our wedding bands cleaned. They do free steam cleaning and check up when you purchase from them. They are great! We haven't gone to any other jewelers since we came here 5 years ago and I'm from Harrisburg. It's a family run business so you get to know everyone.. They make you feel like you're part of the family every time you come in, which is nice. Yesterday, as I waiting for my wife to pick out her earrings. A lady came in who didn't speak English. One of the sisters who worked there tried to assist her, but the language barrier was definitely there. After 5 minutes of trying to speak Spanish, she pulled up google translation and communicated with her. It was actually amazing to see the interaction and how they used technology to try to cater to all clients and it didn't matter if you spoke English or not. They didn't push her away or say no to her, which made me love this store even more. You rarely find that type of customer service. I needed to share as I thought it was really cool what they did. Also, they speak all different languages. For the hour I was there, the people that came in were all of diverse background.
