We had a boot replaced and they couldn't get to us with all the rain delays. He came out and covered the boot to prevent more leaking inside, and then he along with a crew member came out on a Saturday morning to replace the boot. As fate would have it I happened to notice Colony Roofing & Exteriors,LP Truck parked in parking area near my home. I waited for Sales Rep Steven F. to return to vehicle to approach him to schedule roof repair. I was glad to see him because making direct contact with company rep might ensure I get issue with roof resolved sooner rather than later. I explained to Steve the issue with roof & showed him pictures of roof damage. He took my information & promised to get back to me. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect that I would hear from him that very evening. He explained a roof install scheduled for weekend was postponed due to rain forcast over the weekend. Steve notified he prioritized my roof over other customer's scheduled because my roof issue involved water damage which would worsen if left un treated. What a great guy Steve is & thoughtful to boot! Today as promised Steve & crew of 2 guys arrived at my home before 8:30 am to began roof repair. Steve explained the decking on roof was rotted & needed to be replaced. Steve stated the decking would be nailed to the effected area of roof to support roofing materials to prevent water leaks. He stated ice water shield would be installed under new shingles to prevent further water damage. Steve covered all the basics before worker's commence roof repair even inquiring whether gutter guy leveled the gutters because he stated if this step wasn't completed it would be useless completing roof repair because roof water issue would persist whenever, it rained. I was pleased with job the roofer's did with house roof. Steve is friendly & very knowledgeable about roofing process & industry. The roofing job for the effected area 3ft x 2ft costs 600.00 which I didn't think was unreasonable for the amount of work completed. On Colony Roofing & Exteriors, LP Work Order notes roof repair is warranted for 2 years which I thought was decent. I would have given Colony Roofing & Exteriors 5 stars but had one small un addressed concern but over all the worker's did a great job. I would re hire this company for any Roofing issues I had in the future.

It never fails to put you on an annoying sales list with harassing phone calls. Well guess what, it finally failed! Brian Carpenter with Texan Roofing respected my wishes and contacted me first via email (they actually ask preferred method of contact). After a pleasant email exchange describing my roofing needs Mr. Carpenter asked for permission to call me. Blown away is an understatement. I mean seriously, I am actually being treated like a living, breathing human customer. All jokes aside its greatly appreciated to have your preferences respected. So Mr. Carpenter calls up and the conversation continues. My wife (the decision maker) is listening into our conversation and I could tell she was impressed with his vast knowledge and straight forward comments. We make arrangements for Brian (yes by now we were on first name basis) to come out and inspect the roof. Hang up and the first words out of my wife's mouth were "we are going with that guy; I don't care what it costs". Now this would normally be an issue for me but the wife does have a great gut feeling. The day before the inspection Brian reaches out to confirm. Awesome, I tend to forget things because I'm getting older and I refuse to write things down because I don't want to admit I'm getting older. Inspection day arrives, Brian sends a text letting us know he is about 30 minutes away. Communication is huge in my book if you could not tell. Brian arrives, does the inspection and confirms its best if we replace the entire roof. I'm picky, my wife and I wanted a very specific look and color. Brian showed us samples, walked us through the entire process and took his time to ensure we had no lingering questions. We picked out our scheme and signed a contract a few days later. At this point I'm expecting a delay due to supply chain or labor shortage. Nope! I was wrong again. Brian got back with me and scheduled the removal and installation for the following week, assuring me it would be complete in no more than a day and a half. Install day arrived and the workers were knocking on the door at 7 AM on the dot. I was in shock, everyone is there on time and ready to work, and work they did! My roof is not small but not gigantic either, by 9 AM they had removed the entire roof and started replacing bad decking and laying down the underlayment. So what happened to the mess created from the tear down? They were cleaning up the debris as they worked. Weird concept to keep the customer's property clean during the roofing process. Sadly, I had to leave for work and could not enjoy the progress in person. Later that evening after the sun had set Brian called to inform me they were unable to complete the job in 1 day. They were 10 feet short on the ridge vents. Seriously? That's the only issue? Not a problem at all. But now I'm anxious to rush home, inspect their work and strive to find something wrong. On the last roof we had replaced I was finding nails and debris for months, so I knew what to look for. I got home, pulled out the flashlight, walked around admiring their work and getting upset with myself that I could not find any debris. No crew is really this good. Well guess what, I was wrong a third time. The next morning, I woke up and did another inspection with full sunlight. The Texan Roofing crew really IS THIS GOOD! Due to the roofs age our insurance premiums were higher. I submitted pictures of the completed roof along with an invoice showing when and who did the work. My insurance agent was highly impressed with the quality of work and even mentioned I got a great deal. To have my insurance agent commend the job Texan Roofing performed made me thrilled and overly satisfied. See my wife and her gut instincts are pretty damn good. Anastacio came out the first week of the new year and was very professional and knowledgeable. We needed some flashing replaced that was really never installed correctly. Anastacio was determined to make sure the work was done correctly. We waited after a heavy rain to ensure there were no more leaks on the ceiling before writing this review. I'm happy to say after a full month and a heavy rain the ceiling is dry. I would recommend this company and will reach out to them again for anymore roofing needs :)
