I've been going to Best Brows for several years. It is located in Yamane Salon close to my house. Not only is it convenient to schedule online and walk to, but I'm very happy with the results. Anisa took over the business from Rebekah in January. They both have done my browns the way I prefer, natural with a clean arch. I have never had any skin pulled off with the wax like I have at many other places. She offers a 3 brow wax for $60 pre-paid deal which is what I opt for. I was not comfortable leaving Portland to start Best Brows In Manhattan until I found the right candidate for my long time clients. Because I am so particular about my eyebrows and need them to be and advertisement for me, I do not like anyone touching them! But I had to try her out. I purchased a facial/brow shaping on Living Social and went for my appt this afternoon. I found the online scheduling system to be easy and fuss free. The salon is on the second floor of a building and I did not see an elevator ...in case that is a problem. There is a large free parking lot in front so parking is not an issue. Anissa is very professional and soft spoken. She is also very talented and has been asked to be the lead makeup for the team at the next Fashion Week in New York. I do not have too much in the way of eyebrows and was wondering what she would do with them...she was very precise with waxing and tweezing and I feel like a new woman! Her lotions and potions are light and do not feel heavy or greasy. She also did a fabulous job of deep cleaning my pores!
