I'm not so sure that all Best Buy's are created equal, but the one in Apple Valley has great customer service, and very, very helpful employees. My computer was unrepairable, but I was quickly able to get a new computer because the employee called the store in Victorville and put a secure halt on the last MacBook available. I have avoided a trip down the hill, thankfully. The next day I had to buy a new microwave. Both experiences were quick and easy other than having to go through the process of choosing a new laptop and a new microwave. The microwave was on sale, $200 off, and it was a smoking a deal for new GE microwave. I got outstanding service very quickly and I felt the prices were a Best Buy! read more

Had only 3 small items waiting on a lady at checkout near the entrance she was yapping it off with a customer and only 1 register was open theres like 20 employees walking around asking if we need help and its pretty dead inside i waited over 30 min waiting to checkout! And she was going through there whole profile talking about changing names and phone numbers so slow i got annoyed and went to the second checkout by the tv area and the guy there says we had to check out in the front! I told him the lady was taking her sweet time if he could check me out here and he walked away pretending not to listen to me. They want to show service but there losing customers instead they really need to organize themselves register should be priority as someone who deals with panic attacks and severe anxiety its something that should be fixed Asap! read more

Use severe caution when having your device worked on at geek squad Apple Valley. I went in tonight and had my iPhone repaired through my insurance and the guy deleted my phone information and my SIM then continue to lie about it. I had to go to two different AT&T stores, and they both said the same exact thing he never should have deleted the SIM and it caused me a great deal of problems. I spoke with the manager. He defended that guy and told me it was AT&T's issue. They took no accountability. They used to have. amazing customer service but now they are just complete trash go to any other provider than geek squad to get your iPhone repaired they are shortstaffed. It took over 2 1/2 hours just to get my phone repaired. I had a protector on my front face of the phone and they removed it and they didn't need to. They placed the back and they're charging port. They do not sell the face of the phone so there's no way to get it replaced at this time, everything they could do to screw me over they did do not go to this geek squad if you want value for your money go anywhere else but here. read more

I decided to go into Bestbuy and check out the laptops. There was not much inventory in the many sections, it feels more like a neighborhood bestbuy. People are nice but there are not many customers; good for me! I met Jayden in the laptop section, she was very nice, patient, and communicative. We talked about my interests and what I need the laptop for and we had a fluid conversation. I did not want to pay so much for the laptop but my needed specifications fit this beauty. I was also given an option to return within 14 days if it does not meet my standards. Love the Consideration. I would say come here if you have researched the item and ensured it is at this store. Had to return a tv that I bought online and picked up at the store. Took more than 45 minutes waiting in line at the Geek squad station and only one person in front of me. I noticed a few employees walking around doing nothing and didn't seem to want to help or assist in any way. I finally returned the tv and bought the next size upon less than 5 minutes. Easy to purchase but difficult to return or get help when returning items. I would hope in the future they will provide the same level of service and speedy check to the return or service department as well. read more

Happened to be in the area looking for a new firestick remote. This is why I didn't go online but now that might be a better option. Walking in, people making a return were greeted at the door and the woman helping them looked at me in the eyes with no expression or welcome. I literally bumped into the lady again as she seemed to be in a rush and I said sorry. My advice: slow down. See what customers need because others were being helped and some people not. The employees I did see seemed to be busy or avoided me. I finally did track somebody down who told me the remote should be over there. He did not walk to the area. Bought a Google fit bit on black Friday for $99.00. Brought it home charged it up and the screen wouldn't power on. Charge 6 model. Returned it got an exchange the second one worked for a day and the battery wouldn't charge beyond 14%. Returned that one and was willing to pay more fir the Sense 2 . Seeing as I made my purchase on black Friday and I had the inconvenience of having to return 2 defective watches, I asked if they would provide me the black Friday price in the sense 2 and they said they wouldn't. You would think from a customer viewpoint soon as I pay an annual fee to them, to back up and fix all my items that I buy from best buy.They would at least give me the sale price from black friday.As a courtesy for having to return two defective units makes me wonder if they're buying b stock. Bought a new 65" Sony TV. Having problems where it shuts down & restarts in the middle of a program. Only 1 1/2 months since purchased, the last time it shut down it disconnected sound system. It won't allow me to reset. Call for service as bought a service plan and they will not come out to service the TV. They said my Sony manufactures warranty has to expire first. I don't know if this is because of this particular location or if this is a corporate problem but this is what happened. I contacted geek squad multiple times to fix my desktop computer. They said they could not fix it and they wanted me to bring it into them physically. Then they made an appointment for me without contacting me and letting me know what time that appointment was for. Then they charged my card $50 to have somebody come to my house! Luckily, I found out about it before the appointment was supposed to happen and I canceled it. That was almost a year ago. Then yesterday they automatically renewed my geek squad membership, without contacting me, charging my account close to $200,. I had to contact my bank and put a stop payment on it! Their service has been absolutely horrible! I have contacted them at least six times throughout the year to help me and they never resolve y computer issues.. I finally gave up on them and contacted Microsoft to do quick assist and I get better results that way although they're not very good either! Since when can somebody charge your account close to $200 without your approval? I'm not the first one they've done this too. They did it to my mother and they did it to me about 15 years ago when I lived in a different state. So FYI, first of all geek squad is useless. They don't know what they're doing. Secondly you're going to get ripped off. They're going to put fraudulent charges on your card, make appointments for you without notifying you so you'll never be able to keep them unless you just happen to show up or find out about it, and then they're going to renew your membership without asking you and put an extra $200 charge on your card. Who could afford $200 to their budget out of the blue like that in this day and age? Seriously. Don't use them.. read more

Be very careful when dealing with BestBuy stores price match on line. Employee chat communication with the public is not monitored or audited. An Employee told me Best Buy would price match a product I purchased and later found cheaper. So I went ahead and had the product installed. Two weeks later I never received the adjustment to my credit card. So I called Best Buy customer complaint line to get resolved. After speaking to three levels of supposedly management all I basically got was "So Sad to Bad!" A fourth higher level of management, who they would not name, was to me back within one hour, they never called. For a corporation of this size to lack proper controls over employee behavior and poor response to public complaints is unacceptable. I have attached a photo of the chat I had with the original employee that stated the price match and credit was to be made. Supervisor Cami and Manager Luis are both extremely rude and very unprofessional. Not sure how either of them are in managerial postions as their staff associates were much more helpful than either of them. Mary Jane and the younger male staff in the electronic department were very nice and very helpful. We had issues with items on the floor not being priced correctly. Cami came over and told the staff that they should have took the sign down and walked away without even acknowledging us. We asked for a manager and Luis came over and was just as rude. Wouldn't let us speak without trying to interrupt us. Should have just went to the Victorville location. 0/10 customer service (except for Mary Jane - she was great). read more

However, DO NOT CALL into their phone system!! I recommend driving back to the store If your unable to drive back to the store and insisting on trying the phone number. Try this instead: Find the largest pair of scissors you can find, point them at your head, and run as fast as you can into a wall. It's been 16 days since the Geek Squad MGR FERNANDO SANCHEZ contacted me. I specifically told him to have his store MGR. call me. To this day no one has called me or emailed. Maybe I should reach out to Corie Barry. I'm sure she would love me to waste her CEO time on a matter that should have been handled 16 days ago. I came in on 12/21/19 at 2:00pm for an appt. with your so called Geek Squad. The screen on my iPad cracked and I needed a repair stat. I was told the day I called to make the appt. that they do not carry the parts in store and that it would be sent out with a turn around of about 5 days. Cool I was willing to wait no biggie. I walk in at 2:00pm for my appt and don't get helped till 2:25 tf did I make an appt. for?! Now for the less than bright associate who helped me Tristan Meyer maybe Meyers. My goodness this boy should be a cashier or something less complicated. He did a diagnosis on the iPad and luckily only the screen was broken and no internal damage. He told me my deductible would be $50 and they would most likely just send me a brand new iPad. So I was in good spirits until he went through every prompt only to then ask me if my device was cellular. So I said yes he then proceeded to tell me he can't ship it out and that I would have to go through Apple directly. WHY TF didn't you ask me if it was cellular when I made the appt. instead of wasting my time?! At this point I am furious and ask for a "manager". Good ol' Luis shows up with his cocky ass attitude thinking he will intimidate me and not do as I say. Sorry buddy but no. After arguing with me he finally decided to do his job and to order the iPad for it to be directly shipped to the store in 3 days. This is a very special (Shoutout) review to the Best Buy Sale's personnel. I wont mention any names, Hmm ? So I purchased a Open box special, a Pioneer Radio, and all the extras that are necessary to install the new equipment. The Sales guy was very sure of himself I could not install the Radio myself, after 3 times of assuring me I couldn't do it, and Thinking to myself WTH? I had a lil doubt going out of my way to do the install myself just to save a few Bucks $$ So I asked him for installation price's Um Naw I am good ! The Installation prices were Fair and cheap, But waiting until Thursday just to install a Radio a BIG DEFINITE NO ! We went home took a nap, woke up got the Dremel & tools needed started and finished my install within 2 hrs. Thank you negative Nelly .
