In all honesty the customer service here at the geek squad is abysmal. Not only are the employees rude, they lack the necessary communication skills that are required for their job. They have a "system" in place but once they have more than 3 people in queue they completely fall apart and cannot fix your issue. They gave me the runaround several times before I finally decided to go elsewhere and had my issue solved the same day. My wife and I purchased new appliances for our home. We have ALWAYS received excellent customer service from the appliance sales department at the Beaumont Best Buy. We changed our mind (before delivery) about the appliances we wanted. We went to the store to cancel what we had on order and purchase different appliances. We were met with nothing but kindness and willingness to make the changes. The employees, Mason S. and Mason B. were AWESOME in refunding our original purchases and ringing up the new appliances. On January 11th I purchased car audio equipment threw Best Buy. I also make a appointment, at that time, to have the equipment installed. The install was set up for January 13th at 11 am. After the equipment arrived on January 12th the knuckleheads at Best Buy cancelled the install. No idea when they can reschedule. Now I'm stuck with their product and nobody tried to fix their mistakes. Manager Scott Williams says the install crew has been under staffed since January 1st and his scheduling team should not have given me the appointment for January 13th. Pretty rotten deal! I gave my purchase of this item one star because of the rude and arrogant nature of the salesman. I came into to get something very simple, a usb to usb micro cord. The salesman from the start would not allow me to finish saying the above words-- he cut me off by saying he needs to know exactly what device Im trying to charge- this cord chargees many different items. Again he kept baraging me about what device I was trying to charge. At one time he asked me to leave the store. I tried to calm down even though I hadnt done anything wrong and did do sort of an apology. I said if you will allow me to finish , he finally said ok- for this salesman thinks he shouldnt be challenged. as I was telling him its a universal cord and isnt device specific, another salesman walked up he heard it all, the arrogant first salesman said something to the second salesman, and the nice salesman said I know what he wants and its the same charger for a playstation. I was in the market for a new MacBook Pro as mine is old and I needed a new machine for editing videos. I walked straight to the back of the store where the Apple products were on display. I was alone for a couple minutes (which was greatly appreciated) and looked around. Soon after, Christian came over to help and he was super friendly. He also works with editing videos and stuff, so it was really cool having someone genuinely look out for my interests instead of being a good salesman. Long story short, he convinced me to get the latest model MacBook Pro (with more storage) as it was on sale and was suited to my needs more than the other products. The only thing that was a tad disappointing was that he couldn't tell me when the "Apple Sales Event" would end. Even when I looked online, I couldn't find the terms and dates of the sale. The Best Buy is Beaumont Texas is horrible. I received a gift for Christmas, which we celebrated last weekend. The gift does not work, and all I wanted to do was exchange it for the exact same thing that did work. But because I was not given a gift receipt, they will not exchange the gift. My daughter bought it at the Beaumont Best Buy, so if there was any problem I could easliy go there for any problems. This is not the first time we have had problems at this Best Buy. They delivered one to an address I can't even find on a map, and it's a hundred miles away; they advised that the other one was on the way (to the same wrong address). For a big name company to put defective products on its shelves then to not stand by the products it puts on its shelves when it is shown how the products were defective is troubling. Spoke with the manager who stated Best Buy does not run quality control on all its products so no way for them to know if products are defective before selling them. Was told these are not products that Best Buy will accept back and return payment to the customer for. Was told Best Buy does not list or make customers aware of all its return policies in a conspicuous manner, instead customers should read the fine print at the bottom of the receipts which directs the customer to BestBuy.com/Returns. Was told the manager was going to look into removing the rest of these same products from the shelves to at least stop future customers from the same issues that I encountered, though that came across as an empty promise. Considering the lack of quality control and the exponentially increased chance of purchasing defective products with no ability to return due to the policies in place, I simply recommend shopping elsewhere. read more

I have many friends who work at this location but none of them are knowledgeable so they wont be any help. I wouldn't attempt a trip during the xmas holidays as the traffic will be pretty horrific, think of any disaster movie and the scene where everyone is fleeing the city and its cars bumper to bumper. Upset that my printer is not working after the router was updated with a new one by Geeks. I already had WiFi on my old router. They came and said they were adding WiFi. I called to have them come back and was asked if my WiFi was working. I said yes but my printer was not; not with or without WiFi. July 9th I spoke with two online chat agents to get a price match guarantee order started. The agents set up the order and I inputted my card information. I specifically asked both times if the 300.00 gift card promotion for both the washer and dryer would still be added even after the price guarantee I was advised yes (after being on wait for 5+minutes). I was told I would receive an email with my gift card information after the delivery was completed. On July 18th I received my washer and dryer but still no gift card, yesterday I chatted with another agent who advised me they are only able to add one promotion. However this was NOT advised at the time of making the purchase and I was confirmed TWICE I would be receiving both the price guarantee and gift card. After being on the line for 3+ hours and chatting with 3+ agents, Marco was only able to get me a 150 G card. If you looked puzzled and don't know where to find a particular item, there's always an employee walking around if you have any questions/concerns. Overall, the staff was friendly and great. Most of the time they have what you need in stock. I went to the location in the store given and waited at least 15 minutes trying to find my selection on my own, with no one coming to assist. I decided that no one really cared, therefore decided to leave. As I passed by a counter, three employees were having the most interesting and engaging conversation about who knows what.
