I would ask for product knowledge questions they are discussing pricing. It's very sad Samsung and Apple have associates working here with no basic product knowledge. Made an appointment to take in my AirPods that were covered under a 2-year warranty that was paid for because you can't just do a walk-in. Was told by chubby Asian dude with glasses that he couldn't run diagnostics because of serial number saying it's out of warranty. I went shopping for a TV, ended up buying a 70 inch. I'm a disabled person, so I was going to pay the installation fee for it. Instead they were offering this TotalTech membership. They made it seem like a great deal and told me they would do free installation with that membership. They had scheduled me for November 18, come the day of, they only deliver it. I call to see if they are going to install, they told me they didn't have any installation scheduled for me. I go to the store they tell me they're going to install it on November 22, they give me a receipt that states that. Then I call to confirm and there is still no installation appointment scheduled. I go back to the store, they tell me we'll for sure go on the 23, which is today. I haven't received any call, so I decided to call once again to see if I'm scheduled and apparently they don't even know what's going on. In the past, I've always been weary to shop at Best Buys because I heard their return policy is horrid. However, for Christmas I got a gift card so I had no choice. I actually really enjoyed shopping here. I wanted to buy a tablet but not an iPad. I know nothing other than apple products so I had no idea what I was doing. One of the friendly staffers spent a good 45mins with me explaining what ones would be good for what I was looking for and finally I took the leap and got a droid! It wasn't the cheapest thing in the world, but the guy was so helpful and patient he really reassured me to feel comfortable buying it. So, we ring everything up and scheduled the delivery in two days. We just purchased a new house, so we don't have any way to store our food. I think we could do two days of eating out. Javid calls me the very next day to let me know that there was an error in the system and my delivery date has been pushed back to two weeks. Javid was very apologetic and explained to me that he was working through the chain of command to expedite my delivery. Javis called me each day and kept me informed about my order. Each day, we got better and better news. Assistant mgrs were speaking to store mgrs. Store mgrs were speaking to district mgrs. And so on. Finally, after five days of eating McDs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we received a call that our appliances will be delivered in the next 30 minutes. I've been here several times over the years. If you can come in a simply pick up what you want with no help from an employee then you can get it and get out fast. Now if you need help getting something that is locked up or in back, you have to stand around asking for help while employees walk on by you. This is a smaller Best Buy than the behemoth on Blackstone, but I often turn here when the Fresno Best Buy is out of stock. If you know what you want, you should try ordering online. Pickup at the Clovis store is really easy - far easier than the Fresno store because it's easy-in, easy-out. Prices here are lower than at other local stores. Service is better here than at the Fresno Best Buy, but coming to Best Buy for customer service is like going to Hooters for the wings. read more

Got talked into upgrading my Wi-Fi card because they told me it was free with the activation of my two-year extension on my new cell phone if I upgraded my Wi-Fi device. Turns out that was a lie because my monthly payment increased on it by $20 per month which was not disclosed. Was told I had 30 days to return the device if I was not happy but it turns out after 14 days you're stuck in the contract which is completely redundant so why tell customers you have 30 days to return the product?? Very very deceitful and sneaky!!! Verizon said there was nothing I could do that I have to take it up with Best Buy and Best Buy's district manager on three occasions now was supposed to call me and has never called!!
