    I respect that Best Buy is still in business with so much competition. I was in need of new modem since I had to switch to Xfinity for my internet service (sad face). I refuse to pay a monthly charge for a modem, so I decided to make my way to Best Buy. Like so many others I prefer to shop online, but I was in need of this modem pretty fast. I didn't have time to wait on delivery. I don't think I've been in a Best Buy in years, but it was nice to see the vast amount of items stocked. Great for tech idea for my home. I saw things that I actually never thought to purchase. I forgot how nice it was to go in a store like Best Buy and browse the isles. Anyways, I found the modem I needed and for a reasonable price. I also got to check out some cool gadgets. Pretty nice outing.

    I have to give a little love to Best Buy! Actually over the last couple of years, lots of it! I got my iPhone here, bought needed appliances and electronics - they've always been very courteous and always price-matched. Only today I was left in tears because I've spent so much here, I denied myself an opportunity to pick up a new Canon camera :( I won't say which one so none of you go buy it ahead of me over the next couple of months! :-D Best Buy itself is sort of a jack-of-all trades when it comes to electronics and appliances. If you can't find what you want, they'll find a way to order it for you. This store has been a life-saver a few times, as has the one near the St. John's shopping complex. Their salespeople have always been knowledgeable and respectful when dealing with me, even though I ask 10K questions. Today Eli got the honors of assisting me for about 25 minutes, and though I didn't get the Canon (YET!), he was patient and went above the bar working with me. I can agree that this shop is short in some areas (like camera tripods and other accessories) but what they don't have, they will order for you, as I have done a few times. It was funny how I stumbled on the very camera I was looking for when I got to this store today. I think that area could use a little reorganizing so all the cameras aren't so spread out. I bought my last camera in 2005 - I think it's time to upgrade - till then, my XR will get the job done! For now, I have no problem visiting this Best Buy! Think others will be happy to! A couple of other things to consider: 1) Look into becoming a member of the Geek Squad. I am and have used it - it works. 2) You can earn points by buying things, of course. But also by doing purchased product reviews and earn points, which ultimately turn into cash rewards. I've saved good $$$ doing this. If you're diligent, you will too! Recommend: HIGH

    While I'm definitely thrilled to have a Best Buy at River City Marketplace, this isn't my favourite one. However, it does suffice. Customer service is just so-so. When I can find an employee to help me, they have been friendly and knowledgeable. The problem is finding someone. When the store is practically empty, I shouldn't have to wander around for 5 - 10 minutes looking for assistance or waiting for assistance because the person I do manage to find doesn't know how to help me. We come in looking for movies or television shows fairly often. I do wish they had a larger selection. I also echo my husband's review about the movie section being unorganized. I mean it's REALLY UNORGANIZED. We'll find an employee (after some effort) and they'll check the system and it says the movie we want is there.... but where?!?! The last time we were in here, the employee, my husband, and I wandered around for a good 30 minutes looking for a movie that the system said was in the store. We finally gave up and went to Walmart and found it. It's a sad day, people, when Walmart is more organized than Best Buy. We'll continue to shop here because we love Best Buy and it is pretty close to our home; however, if I'm wanting to make a large purchase, I'll go to the store on Blanding near Orange Park.

    Stay away. If you want to keep $ in your pockets. This is my second favorite store. Courteous staff. Knowledgeable staff.

I would expect prices to be a little lower in a clearance store. Anyway... this is a really great place to come if you're looking for a unique piece of furniture. If you're looking for a brand new piece that looks like it came from the 50s or 60s, you may just find what you're looking for here! Love retro! They also have a good number of new "shabby chic" pieces. The first time I was here, I actually thought the pieces were antiqued and had been finished to look "shabby chic," so I asked. I was wrong... they are actually brand new pieces. I love "shabby chic" and I know there are a lot of people out there who are able to get antique pieces and create this look... I am NOT one of these people. Haha! I don't have a creative bone in my body. You'll, of course, find mattresses and modern pieces of furniture. The employees here are really nice, helpful, and informative. What I really like is that they welcome me to the store with a smile and when I tell them I'm just browsing, they leave me alone. I absolutely hate salespeople who follow me around the entire time I'm trying to shop.

    Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered a $1000 Beast recliner at the end of March 2021 with…read morea 16 week lead time. Finally reached out in July 2021 for an update and was told November. Here we are in January 2022 and still no chair. I understand the supply chains and other issues but there was absolutely no communication until I reached out after the lead time had passed. Finally spoke with Joseph the general manager over email who kept insisting that there was absolutely no fault on them even with the poor customer service. Also he had terrible professional email etiquette, capitalizing certain words and making it seem like I did not understand and treating me as if I were a child. Still couldn't tell you of the chair is worth the wait because we have yet to recieve it. He offered to cancel my order for only a 50% restocking fee, how generous. I asked for the delivery fee of $99 to be waived because of the massive delays and inconvenience and was informed that the only way they would ever do that is if I picked up the chair myself from their warehouse when it came in which is not possible for me. If there had simply been communication, updates, and friendly staff there wouldn't have been an issue. UPDATE 1/12 - I would like to clarify that I spoke to my sales associate one time during this entire process, at the end of July 2021 when I was told it was now November 2021. Since then, the only person I have spoken to via email was Michaela (who checked status for me a few times over email was the only polite person I spoke with.) After speaking with Joseph via email yesterday was the point where I cut the conversation and said that I would "speak to a representative when my chair came in, if it ever did." When I was offered to cancel my order at the end of July 2021, I did not because I was told that November was my new lead time and it was only a few months more. The next update I received from Michaela was on 9/9 saying it was pushed another month to 12/6. On 11/11 it was still 12/6. On 12/7 when I reached out again I was informed it would now be 12/22. After Christmas I again emailed to see if it had shipped and was told that it was now 1/10. A full cancelation was NOT offered multiple times, it was offered once, and I do not appreciate my comments being taken out of context and making it seem like I have been completely unreasonable and angry. I have been extremely patient and if Joseph hadn't been so completely rude right off the bat I wouldn't have needed to post this review. UPDATE 1/12 - After posting my review, JFM has informed me that they are going to completely cancel my order for a full refund and advised me to review their defamation clause. I have never had such a poor experience with any establishment and it is unfortunate that it ended on such a sour note.
