Went here and didn't even know that the they have home depot in Lem Turner. This is not our go to Home Depot and the only reason why we are here is because my husband ordered something and they did not delivered the whole ordered and he had to call this Home Depot because they said that they have their order here.....well....we were wrong lol, went here and talked to someone on the counter and they said that we can just pick our order since home depot cancelled it and we weren't sure if it we can just pick it up or not but apparenlty we have to pick our stuff on the shelves. Not a problem, went at the back and they do not have it!!! Home Depot why even put it on your website that you have it and you actually dont? especially we have to travel out of our way to go here! it was a waste of our time and gas. and it seems like all the employees here does not want to help you. We have been to several home depot and they are super friendly and that's why we prefer Home depot compare to Lowe's. at the end, my husband ended up ordering again but at Lowe's and guess what??!! we receive it the next day. read more

This is the place where you can get pretty much anything you need to fix anything in your house. It's so huge that it's hard to find somebody to help you here but if you can manage to find somebody they tend to be pretty nice. The prices are always a little bit less than Lowes. The staff are helpful and nicer than the Lane Ave store. Extensive garden center as well. Prices are ok on plants. Good selection of tools here. The buckets are so handy for less than $3. The store the toilets are in the very back of aisle five and are normally clean. read more

Everything you could want to make repairs on your home and then some. This store is large and always organized. I do sometimes have trouble finding what I'm looking for, but I never have trouble finding a helpful employee. Nice, large parking lot with plenty of spaces. I do prefer Lowe's up at River City Marketplace (that's just a personal preference... no real reason), but sometimes we found ourselves in this area of town and aren't in the mood to head up to the airport so it's just easier to stop here at The Home Depot. I also feel the need to mention that this particular location is a big nostalgic for me because when my girls were growing up, we'd always come here the day after Thanksgiving to pick out a Christmas Tree and purchase it. We'd then go home and decorate it while listening to Christmas music. That was our tradition. Even way back then, the employees were always super helpful and friendly. read more

Leonard at Lumber helped me cut all my wood pieces and I was greeted at checkout by a really nice lady. I rented a chain saw and the young lady that rented it to me around 3:40 PM told me that I could return the tool before 9 AM the next day and she would give me a four-hour rate. When I brought it back about 8 AM the next day, she was not working, so they charged me for the 24-hour rate. When I explained what I was told that I could bring it back today, they didn't care, and charged me an additional $14.60. Anyway, I was a good customer at the Lem Turner location, moreover, I know where Lowes is located. Unreal customer service in the rental department here is weak, make sure you write everything down and keep your receipt. I will go to Lowes from now on. read more

I went into the store at 4:32 PM it is now 5:53 PM and that's how long I've been waiting on the plumber Al for someone to come and help me pick out parts for toilet. I wound up not getting anything two people came by to help but was unable to find parts. I need to replace the inside of my tank. Both persons promise to send someone else and I never saw the person again and no one ever came to help. I want out not getting anything which was a shame. I will never return never give them a second chance as this is not the first time this is happened and I would not recommend the store for anyone. One star is not even recommended. read more

Came into Home Depot on Len Turner Rd. Looking to purchase a pack of white self tapping screws to secure gutter downspouts. Walking in the store and heading toward the building materials I asked an employee could he direct me to the item I needed, actually showed him one and said it is used with gutters. His response do you want to rent it or purchase it???? I was speechless, I just said never mind and found my way to the gutter isle, asking a second HD employee and showing them the item I needed, his response was you need to go to the fastener isle. OK I did and at that point a more mature gentleman sent me back to where I had just left, which did make sense . After looking through what looked like a discount center to try and find what I was wanting to purchase it was useless. Product was all mixed, display a mess, store overall was not at the HD standard by far. Finally a young lady came by and offered to look up the item on her handheld, which by the way the first employee had no clue on how to use his. She took me to the place they were to be, WOW they were not there a something that had nothing to do with gutters.I was at my wits end. This store has deteriorated greatly the last 8 years. It is not getting better at all. The staff is untrained on product and technology hey it's 2023 time to get with it. Most a high percentage do not know the product or whether the are at in the store. I will and would much rather shop at a private own store, even if what I need is unique and had to be ordered. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. Literally the worst experience we've ever had. We bought a washer/dryer WITH INSset that was supposed to be delivered from 8:30-12:30, never showed so we called and they CANCELLED THE ORDER. After calling and being hung up on multiple times, they finally delivered the appliances (3-4 hours late) & then refused to install because the parts weren't on the truck even though we ordered them all together. We called YET AGAIN & they said too bad, we're not doing it & you can reject the appliances if you want and take it up with someone else. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else - this store is trash. read more

Because of this store I now strongly recommend everyone to NOT shop at any Home Depot's anymore. I've been waiting 3 months for my mower to get fixed by them. I was quoted 3-4 weeks and I could understand a bit longer, but months longer is becoming an issue. They only went to apply my warranty almost 2 months after having my mower...what were they doing in those 2 months!? I asked if there was any way I could get a discount on having to rent a mower, if I could return my mower, or get it in writing that they would allow me to return my mower once it's back from the shop and I've been denied all options. I've called to check on the status every other week and now they all seem quite annoyed with me from the second they pick up the phone. I promise I'm no Karen and have never given them any attitude to enact their grouchy disposition. I've only been able to have them connect me to the repair shop ONCE in the 3 months I've been waiting. My last call I was told they simply cannot do that which I know is a lie. I've asked if there's anything they could do to help me and they simply don't even try. Still currently waiting on my mower to ever show up again. I've been renting from Lowes every since Home Depot told me they wouldn't reimburse me, cut the price, or help at all with the need to rent a mower from them. Several months ago, April 23rd to be exact, my husband and I entered into an agreement to have customer closets installed. We agreed on a design and we were told that it would be about 15 weeks to order materials and get an installation date. All of which was in the written agreement. We also obtained a Home Depot credit card to pay for this installation. A month later our payments started. Understandable. At some time during the 2nd or 3rd week week of August we were contacted about installation and informed that they were having some issues with the installer. Again, understandable but that was an internal problem. We were patient and later received an email with an installation date of September 20, 2022. We were given a window 8:00. - 10:00 for the arrival of the installer and materials and given instructions on what was needed: space to put materials everything removed from the closet. I took a personal day off work to be there for the installation. Hubby had received a call the night before saying the the installer would be there a little later. No problem-I was planning to be there all day. NO ONE SHOWED UP!! My husband called the person responsible for scheduling and was told that the installer no longer worked for Home Depot. After much conversation, we were later given a date of Thursday September 29th. As we all know, the storm was due to sweep through FL. I asked my husband, the Monday before if he had heard about the Appt. He had not until Tuesday in which the appointment was confirmed. Ian was coming thru, but they confirmed. Of course, we both were available and given the day off because of the weather. So, Thursday morning we got up and made sure the closet was empty because the installer was to come between 8 - 10 am. Then the phone rings and it was Home Depot. We were told that the installer was coming from Orlando and didn't think it was safe to travel and asked if we were available on Saturday. We were not so we suggested Friday. The caller said he would check with the installer and call back. We did not receive a return call. We understand about traveling in this type of weather; however, why would you schedule to be somewhere if you know you had to travel a few hours to get there? Moreover, what does Home Depot not have local installers? Why has it taken 5 months. We have no closet shelves, I have used my work time and it looks like I'll have to take another work day off when the install happens. We have not been given any consideration, explanation or compensation for the incompetence of this install. I will never ever recommend that anyone use Home Depot for any kind of installation work. If you can't install it or don't have someone who can install it, don't use Home Depot. Obviously, this is not the end of this story. Good location but parking lot is cluttered and brings the store outside along with carts everywhere. Inside gets worse, very cluttered and hard to get around. I found it hard to find what I needed and didn't have some items I needed. Finding help was hard. Prices are average and I guess I should get a discount for checking myself out. I like Home Depot in general and shop at various one's around town. They do seem to be getting junked up with some worse than others. They had a good selection of seeds for gardening, but not much in the way of hydroponics. Staff wasn't very knowledgeable and offered little help. I assume that if they don't carry the items then they don't need to know about them. I will continue to shop at Home Depot as it is my go to place. read more

Who doesn't know what is Home Depot? No metter if you like this place or don't you go there because it's close to your house and there is no alternative except Lowe's. May be some places Ace Hardware. What I like about Home depot is Tool Rental. If you don't have pick up truck or some power tools it's great to bu what you need and deliver on pick up truck. Main difference between stores is people who works in them. So I always try to get names and mention good employees vs not so much. I had some really long wait times in this home depot. One time there was a delay with loading mulch for me. Outside was small rain and due to protocol they can't load during any kind of rain. And gate was closed so I was not able to load myself. Another time someone dropped some paint outside and it tool guys 30 min to figure out what to do before I got any attantion. I was agian waiting to be loaded this time with top soil. And it took me over an hour to get what I was waiting for. Many times at PRO desk had to wait for a long time because guys move slow. Last time I used a bid room got $5 discount on $3500 order but it took 30 min to load all info in system. Won't do it agian. Time is money. read more

Typical Home Depot store which for Home Depot is a compliment. It's always neat, organized & well stocked. The staff is friendly & always willing to assist. The store is typical size ala huge & located in a good spot for the Northside. Sometimes you may have to hunt someone down but that's ok. Time to stock up & get what I missed. read more

Home Depot rates a miserable fail with their Dishwasher installation services. Installer was video calling his boss 3 times to know how to install dishwasher. Installer used my personal bathroom during installation. Dishwasher didnot work after installation. And installer tried to tell me my water lines weren't working. I showed him how to turn on water. Still didn't work and Installer deemed dishwasher defective after calling boss. Installer uninstalled dishwasher to bring me another one at a later date and forgot to reinstall drain hose leaving water under my kitchen cabinets . We returned to Home Depot and got our money back. They lost an $800 sale. read more

Went here with my friend to rent a trailer for picking up some furniture she bought on the west side off craig list. It was only 20 for 6 hours and a 100 deposit.. which you got back once you returned the thing. I gave a high review because the lady that was in the department was nice enough to reset the time, after we actually got it connected to the truck. They also have a lady outside that sales really good Sausages outside that are amazing. I wish she would upgrade to using a debit card on her cell that would get her more money. I had extremely bad experience with the manager at this location. I had waited 15 minutes to get a manager to the self check out and waited another 30 minutes for him to argue with me that I have to go home and print out my gift card and come back. I had told him multiple times that on the gift card that is on my phone stated that if the barcode doesn't scan, they have to manually type in the code. But he said it wouldn't work and thought that I was trying to scam him or something. That was absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER get a gift card from Home Depot anymore and will never step my foot in this store anymore! I will go to Lowe's and get better customer service. I walked into Home Depot today to return something I had purchased and no longer needed. I met a Caucasian lady at the customer service desk. I can almost tell that she Did Not want to help me. First, I told her that I had a return, she asked for the receipt, I did not have my receipt, she wanted to know if I had proof of purchase, I couldn't remember how I made the purchase. She then told me that since I cannot tell her how I made the purchase, she could not do the return and that was the policy. I was totally dumfounded. I work for a company and we also have policy, but what she said took the cake. She also said that I should call the manufacture and take it up with them. Well, I did not argue with her because I already knew what she was thinking in her mind. She thought that I should be able to tell her how I purchase it. I am going back to see a manager because I need an explanation for this type of behavior. I will not spend my money with this merchant anymore, ever. I WILL USE THEIR COMPETITOR. read more
