This is the place where you can get pretty much anything you need to fix anything in your house. It's so huge that it's hard to find somebody to help you here but if you can manage to find somebody they tend to be pretty nice. The prices are always a little bit less than Lowes. The staff are helpful and nicer than the Lane Ave store. Extensive garden center as well. Prices are ok on plants. Good selection of tools here. The buckets are so handy for less than $3. The store the toilets are in the very back of aisle five and are normally clean.

Everything you could want to make repairs on your home and then some. This store is large and always organized. I do sometimes have trouble finding what I'm looking for, but I never have trouble finding a helpful employee. Nice, large parking lot with plenty of spaces. I do prefer Lowe's up at River City Marketplace (that's just a personal preference... no real reason), but sometimes we found ourselves in this area of town and aren't in the mood to head up to the airport so it's just easier to stop here at The Home Depot. I also feel the need to mention that this particular location is a big nostalgic for me because when my girls were growing up, we'd always come here the day after Thanksgiving to pick out a Christmas Tree and purchase it. We'd then go home and decorate it while listening to Christmas music. That was our tradition. Even way back then, the employees were always super helpful and friendly.

    Empty Closet

Several months ago, April 23rd to be exact, my husband and I entered into an agreement to have customer closets installed. We agreed on a design and we were told that it would be about 15 weeks to order materials and get an installation date. All of which was in the written agreement. We also obtained a Home Depot credit card to pay for this installation. A month later our payments started. Understandable. At some time during the 2nd or 3rd week week of August we were contacted about installation and informed that they were having some issues with the installer. Again, understandable but that was an internal problem. We were patient and later received an email with an installation date of September 20, 2022. We were given a window 8:00. - 10:00 for the arrival of the installer and materials and given instructions on what was needed: space to put materials everything removed from the closet. I took a personal day off work to be there for the installation. Hubby had received a call the night before saying the the installer would be there a little later. No problem-I was planning to be there all day. NO ONE SHOWED UP!! My husband called the person responsible for scheduling and was told that the installer no longer worked for Home Depot. After much conversation, we were later given a date of Thursday September 29th. As we all know, the storm was due to sweep through FL. I asked my husband, the Monday before if he had heard about the Appt. He had not until Tuesday in which the appointment was confirmed. Ian was coming thru, but they confirmed. Of course, we both were available and given the day off because of the weather. So, Thursday morning we got up and made sure the closet was empty because the installer was to come between 8 - 10 am. Then the phone rings and it was Home Depot. We were told that the installer was coming from Orlando and didn't think it was safe to travel and asked if we were available on Saturday. We were not so we suggested Friday. The caller said he would check with the installer and call back. We did not receive a return call. We understand about traveling in this type of weather; however, why would you schedule to be somewhere if you know you had to travel a few hours to get there? Moreover, what does Home Depot not have local installers? Why has it taken 5 months. We have no closet shelves, I have used my work time and it looks like I'll have to take another work day off when the install happens. We have not been given any consideration, explanation or compensation for the incompetence of this install. I will never ever recommend that anyone use Home Depot for any kind of installation work. If you can't install it or don't have someone who can install it, don't use Home Depot. Obviously, this is not the end of this story. I have sent an email to the Sales Manager and will keep you posted.

I had a very disappointing experience with this business…read more I needed a specific tub spout for a hotel fixture and explained clearly that compatibility was the only thing that mattered. Before placing the special order, I asked more than once what would happen if the item didn't fit. I was repeatedly assured that it would. When the item arrived, it did **not** fit. I had concerns as soon as I saw it, but was still told it would work. I returned the item as directed by my employer. The purchase was made with my **personal funds**, and now I am still waiting for my refund. The most frustrating part was the attitude during the return process--it felt like I was inconveniencing them, even though the item did not match the assurance I was given. If you're placing a special order here, make sure you get the return policy and compatibility guarantees **in writing**. Clear communication and timely refunds should be standard. I hope this situation is resolved soon.

Rather, it's an upscale cabinet and door hardware, unique sinks, swanky mailboxes, lighting...I could go on...hardware "gallery" of sorts. My husband and I popped in one afternoon, as we are looking to modernize and upgrade our kitchen lighting. Karah, the sales girl who promptly greeted us, was knowledgeable, helpful and offered us additional catalogs to browse. (She even sent us home with several.) I loved all of the cabinet and door hardware they have! There was everything from lizard handles to whimsical fiddlehead ferns. I could have browsed them all afternoon! While their selection [of most everything] is lovely and mostly on the more unique side, it is all quite pricey and likely outside of our rather small reno budget. But go and check this place out! I'm glad we finally did.

We have been using the Miter/Samurai Saw blade to cut the wood planks which our friend let us borrow for over 3 months and now that the job is finished, I wanted to change the "10" inch circular blade as it has become quite dull, but can still cut slowly though. We just want to do the right thing and replace it. Saved up some $$$ too than purchasing one or renting them at the Home Depot. My partner and I tried to remove it and even followed the Youtube video on the specific saw as it is a Hitachi C10CFH2 as the Allen wrench we had on was the proper fit and size but still won't let it turn as we tried multiple times and we don't want to damage the head as it is so seized up. Next day, we took it to Proctor ACE Hardware at 5273 University Blvd West and went straight to the customer service and they immediately went at it and yep - they told me it was pretty seized up as it was overtightened all right. They had to drill out the screw to get it out and would be easily replaced as the store, lucky they have the part and after 30 minutes it was back to normal with a fresh blade DeWalt "10" circular blade that I purchased from the store and I did not even have to pay them for the labor, is there at least a tip jar? Awesome sauce! We are very grateful for the staff especially to Mr. Rodney, who did most of the nitty-gritty, Emrah for being so communicative and Mr. John for taking me to the right department. Next time I have any tool issues or need to buy gear (the prices are very good as may items were on sale, especially the gardening items, Spring is coming next month sooo... This brought back memories from my childhood and working on wood projects with my dad. So when I saw they were opening, I called my dad and said we needed to take a field trip. The first time we walked in, we were greeted by the wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I was looking for an exotic wood to make some shelves for my kitchen. Since they were going to be open shelves I wanted them to be something special. The staff or wonderful with recommendations, but really I just wanted to find something that spoke to me. Yes, I know they can sound odd but I'll avoid for some reason. The staff were so patient while I took two hours looking at wood. Once I picked out what I wanted, we were able to talk to one of the managers about having specialty cuts made. Since I do not have a workshop we ran into some hiccups along the way as we were working with a wood in a humid environment. However, everything was sorted, the staff took great care of me and my wood selection and I got my wood cut and it looks wonderful. I am starting my project soon and I cannot wait to finish.
