Ok Best Buy... you're forcing me to tell the truth about you. I get that you upgraded and made yourself look all shiny and new but in that new shiny exterior, you're really frontin' a lawn mower engine under the hood. It's sooo sooooo frustrating. I am going to go out of my way next time to buy anywhere else but here. So went to buy something supposedly easy ... like it's available at Toys R Us probably and should only take me 2 minutes to find and walk to the cashier. It took me 30 minutes to just even find an item that should be a simple pick up and buy. Not once, not twice, but three different times I saw that an item I wanted that was on sale was available for local store pickup. So I go there and... they can't find it. Three different times! Went to Best Buy Heartland centre. I was looking at the Sony a90j 65". I saw several guys and 2 plus a oled guy with one customer. I hung out by the tv display model for around 20 minutes. Even checking the back to see how the legs go. Not one person said I will be with you in a minute, or even acknowledged me. Bad service and thats too bad I wanted to put down a deposit on one while they get them in stock. I did last week talk to a Sony rep at the same Best Buy. A buddy mentioned to me about going to Best Buy for a Screen Protector for my S9+ as they had a lifetime warranty on it, so I did. I went in and got one, (ClearPlex) it was pretty inexpensive, especially for installation and full warranty. I was impressed with the quality. I ended up putting the phone in my pocket with a pen and the sharp edge of the pen caught the corner and peeled it a bit. I went in and spoke to a employee of geek squad, showed him the peeling, and he replaced the protector no questions asked. Very impressed with the Service. read more

This review is based solely on this store's lack of customer service via the phone. This store has a RIDICULOUS automated service. It's a large chain store, fine, whatever. However, the answering machine puts you in this queue and when no one picks up the phone, it asks you to leave your name + phone #, and someone will "return your call". Yeah, whatever. I'm sure someone will bother even listening to the messages, let alone calling people back! With the number of idle salespeople on their sales floor, can 1 of them pick up the phone?? I actually Twittered them to let them know about their poor customer service and that's when I got a response. However, after I asked my question, no response to that. I find that many stores are only focusing on the bottom-line and forgetting about the customer service basics. read more

The staff is excellent here. Have you ever watched Chuck? Well the people here kinda seem like them, except with great customer service skills. Best Buy is pretty standard. Product is in generally the same areas of each store, and the pricing is often very similar to Future Shop, imho. So its really the people that can make the difference. I returned an item here a few weeks ago and everyone was really personable, even that guy at the entrance who labels anything you are bringing in from outside (normally they are passive aggressive). The service at the return counter was quick and not chatty. Sometimes they tend to be chatty, which may be great in the check out area with its multiple tills, but when you only have one person manned at the returns section with many customers waiting, you want fast and quick not chatty and pretty (not saying th rep at the returns wasn't pretty ;) ) read more

My friends were accused of stealing by one of the employees and when they (my friends) OFFERED to have the employee look into their bags, he just said no, that he'd just like them to leave. Why would he accuse them of that if he wasn't even going to check? The employee didn't want to admit he was wrong so he just asked them to leave? Maybe they were closing so they wanted them to leave? But still why not just ask politely instead of accusing them of a crime? So unprofessional. read more

Best buy associates are on a hourly wage except for their home theater department associates are commission based. Management has trained their staff to offer extended warranties as a bonus receive commission sales. Majority of the staff are useless, customer service sucks!!!! no product knowledge. I'm capable of handling everything on my own without any assistance. For anyone else who's not tech savvy they would've to do their own research online. The store is always short of staff, good luck finding any associate. The only reason why anyone needs assistance is for electronics that are locked up in display cases, cages, the warehouse or questions in regards to what products people are purchasing. One time I was mistaken for being an associate cuz I was wearing a blue golf shirt. Management is in the dark in training their staff. I will still continue to purchase products from best buy, I'm definitely disappointed in how the business is handled. I only recommend shopping at any location for their tech! read more

Staff is reasonably knowledgeable and do their best to get the right product to meet your needs. The Geek Squad try their best to help out when a problem arises and take the time to explain things to you. I do miss the larger movie section that Best Buy stores used to have but that isn't the fault of this location. read more

This has been my worst experience ever with best buy. I went online and checked that the product I wanted was in stock and when I get here the product is nowhere to be found also the lack of correct labels didn't help the situation either. The store clerks were very slow and unhelpful. Their lack of interest in helping me was very apparent. They even had the same product but in two separate forms and when they tried to ring the two as a combo like the best buy website clearly stated it didn't work. What a waist of my time! If I can rate no stars I would. I tried calling this store and for 25 mins, there was no answer at all by anyone in the store.. From option 3 for putting something on hold or option 4 to speaking to a customer service. NOTHING! Are they closed or something? I went to the store afterwards and they weren't even that busy.. No one approached me or even offered to help. I was calling to check if they had some video games in stock before I drove out there as I know a few other locations were sold out. I normally have a good experience at other locations but this one no. Being pregnant with a young baby too is upsetting as I try to limit traveling during this season. Worst experience ever!!! I went to store to buy a UHD TV, the customer service was absolutely ridiculous. The guy named JAS PANESAR who was supposed to sell TV to us did not give a damn to your questions. I have never seen anybody that arrogant and so rude. Best Buy has by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Normally if I am not happy with my experience or if I don't like something that happened, I talk to someone about it. Fantastic phone experience! I just phoned the Best Buy Heartland Store at 12:24 pm March 28/ 15. After 5 rings a person answered the phone. His name is Gurvinver ( a supervisor for Best Buy ) . I told him that I need a computer cable to move my computer to another room. He told me the price of the packages they had and then told me I could save money if I get one of the produces that they have for that. I told him that I have 2 D-links one plug and one rabbit ears: but I can't seem to get them to work . He told me to bring them in to the store and they will guide me how to make them work. I told him of the negative reviews that I read about the phone help. He said that there is only two people answering the phone through the day; and they have a very high volume of calls. They are trying to higher people to answer calls . As for on line I don't know what the problem is. I got lucky, but I feel the passion is there to help you once they can get to you.
