I wanted to find out if a product was available. Used the 1-800 # provided online. Worked my way through the menu options pressing keys as appropriate. When it got to choosing option 1 to 6 for the actual issue I wanted to discuss the system did not accept any of the key clicks and it disconnected me. Could not have been my phone as it had already accepted key strokes. Very disappointing. RC in Toronto read more

This is actually a pretty great spot to buy electronics. Everything is either exactly where you think it's going to be, or there's an associate to help you find it. I've purchased a few items from here and the whole process of finding, picking and paying for something is relatively painless. I also bought/picked up my cell phone here and the guy at the counter coached me on making sure Bell made good on the promos they promised me. He also basically refused to give me the phone until the Bell rep on the line detailed the dates and amounts of the discounts I was to receive. Just excellent service. They only lose a star rating because of the guilt I feel from patronizing this store and not a local shop. read more

Since I am living near Downsview, this Best Buy is fairly close and within walking distance. Given the beautiful weather today, we decided to take a stroll over to this "Big Box Park" which includes Costco, Michaels, Home Depot and LCBO?". After getting turned away from Costco for not having a membership card (apparently not allowed to see what's inside before joining), we ventured over to Best Buy as we are in the market for a new laptop. I have always hesitate to go inside "Big Box" retailers since they try to push extended warranties. It has been as clear as day to me or as clear as staying away from Bottle Rats in the club. To my surprise, we were able to get service fairly quickly on a busy Easter Saturday despite the store being quite busy. Further, the guy who helped us was knowledgeable and gave good advice on the 3 computers we were comparing... Of course, the extended warranty came up and he gave it a small push, but didn't outdo it. I know that get higher commissions on selling that garbage, so I did appreciate him giving it a shot, but backing off when we clearly weren't interested... Result - a Laptop and a new "42 inch LG Television... Best Buy 1, Costco 0 Will definitely return to this store in the future given it's excellent selection and great service. It is much better than the Future Shop over at Yonge & Sheppard in terms of selection and service which we had checked out the week prior. read more

I had one of the worst customer service on Sunday. However when I visited again on Tuesday they made up for it with a great and swift transaction of a great tv with a great price which only had one left in all of Ontario (yes I got it on time) and they even added 4 years of extended warranty for a mere 100 bucks. Great looking store, but a waste of time. Ordered online for pickup, and received the confirmation email. Drove a hour to get the items right away to be told they can't find an item. Why would they confirm order, and waste my time? There solution was to go to another BestBuy and purchase it and come back to this store to refund, and then bundle the purchase. (They have a sale for 3 items to get a discount) Not helpful at all. read more

Been going to this location for years when I quickly need something tech related. Recently our wi-fi has been slow, so we figured that buying a new router may solve the issue. The manager of this Best Buy location saw us browsing, and was so helpful and knowledgeable about our needs. He also explained the return policy which meant we could try the router for up to 14 days, and if our signal didn't improve or change we could simply return it. He was incredibly helpful with making a selection and was also very friendly. Really great customer service experience. read more

Just got a 6160 Kenwood double dim DVD navigator installed also an amplfier & a rear view camera .The installation was done by Nima he is the installer @ this store. The job was done in less than 4 hours and in a very proffesional manner. All questions we had were answered immediately. Overall very satisfied, I would recommend this installer @ this store for your car audio etc. My wife and I left very sattisfied with the work that was done!!!!!!!! read more

THEY PICKED UP THE PHONE!!!! I have called approximately 10 different locations across ontario to see about a return policy on a Christmas gift I purchased for my parents and after giving up and calling for three days straight I got ahold of a kind, helpful, younger man (who worked in the geeks quad department and wasn't really supposed to help with return policy inquiries) and briefly explained to me that I can return by January 1st. I purchased the gift from the Burlington location and like all (except for this location) have terrible reviews ranging from every aspect of a consumers impression of a business. I gave this 5 stars solely on the fact the bad rep and sore taste I had in my mouth, heart, body and soul was lifted due to a courteous human being who felt obliged to do his job (when it actually wasn't) and give me closure... AMEN! Though I have never stepped foot in this store so no stars for that. read more

I couldn't help but feel as if the way I was treated at this location (by an employee) was a form of RACIAL DISCRIMINATION. I went here for a refund and was directed to wait in the CUSTOMER SERVICE line. A female employee there completely disregarded me and took THREE other customers in the CHECKOUT line. Even one customer spoke up and said, "She was in line first." The same female employee didn't even look at me and said, "That's ok, I'll take you." I was furious after the third customer who bypassed me. I even checked if I was in the correct line-which I was. Even if I were to be the wrong line, at least tell me and I would've lined up again. There was literally no reason for her to do that. I had to line up again the the check-out line and when it was my turn, the same female employee took her time, and was no where to be found after I completed my transaction. Another kind employee helped me with my order. I usually just hold these type of treatments in, but I had to tell the supervisor this time. He was really kind, and apologized for the incident and confirmed I was in the correct line. She was a white female, about 5'3 with dark brown/red curly hair and a fuller frame. I don't think it's fair for someone to treat people wrongly and assume no repercussions. read more

Absolutely CRAP service in the Computer department. Ive been on a Saturday when there are 2 salespeople working. ONLY 2! There's been a lineup full of people needing help with their computer or want to buy one or just want to ask a question! So little and incredibly lazy and rude staff. The managers couldn't give a rats ass about any complaints and its horrible having to wait upwards of 20-30 mins for "help!" read more

Some of the staff in this store are really great and deserve credit for being good at their job. However overall they are lacking in support. You can call this location and let it ring for hours and no one will every pickup. it's really irritating and even in store, finding help can be a challenge. Again, some of the staff are very helpful...there's just not enough of them! read more
