My husband and I went into the store to purchase a laptop for my school work. Hands down the best service we have ever received! Mind you, my computer literacy is not the best and my husband only speaks Spanish. Manny Mosqueda was our sales helper he not only helped us decided between two different brands by breaking down prons ans cons of each item. He gave detailed explanations and answered every question or concern we had. He was extremely transparent with everything from the items to insurance coverages he covered it all and made sure we understood everything we were purchasing. I also want to highlight the level of professionalism this young man spoke in. I consider myself fluent in Spanish but Manny not once stuttered, chopped up words in Spanish none of that. He was able to assist us both in English and Spanish for my husband and I to both understand. I was planning to translate to my huband but manny had it covered better than I would had ever explained it. My sales associate Alexander and Andy are the BOMB! and I walked away knowing all my questions were answered and now have a new Computer. Had to go back today and purchase an upgraded phone with Lively and Timothy again, was the bomb and went out of his way to take care all I needed. Geek Squad-Not Best Buy. We had a very strange and frustrating experience with the Geek Squad at the Visalia Best Buy. We brought in our 2025 Apple MacBook (only about 3 months old) to ask about repair options. Screen has a black vertical line The first employee we spoke with was very nice and told us they could send it out to Apple for repairs for around $500. He said he was about to go off shift but that someone else would be with us shortly to finish the paperwork. Instead, we waited about an hour before another employee finally came out. His attitude and information were completely different. He told us it wasn't worth repairing and immediately started trying to sell us a new laptop for around $1,200. When we explained that the previous employee had just told us repairs would be about $500, he suddenly left and came back saying they had "run the numbers" and now Apple would charge $650 or possibly more. The price and story kept changing, which made the whole situation feel very questionable. Another red flag was that they asked us to turn off the "Find My" feature before even moving forward with anything. At that point the entire interaction felt off, so we decided to take our laptop and leave. This is a three-month-old MacBook, and the way the situation went from a reasonable repair estimate to being pushed toward buying a new laptop felt very strange and uncomfortable. I received an email this morning asking me for a review of recently ordered product which reminded me I needed to return 3 of the items. Arrived at the store and tried to return a few unopened items to the Visalia Best Buy --an HDMI cable and some USB-C adapters--only to be told I was outside their 14-day return window. Fair enough. But when I asked the supervisor if an exception could be made since everything was in brand-new condition, her words were: "I could, but I'm not going to." That attitude says everything about how this store treats its customers. It wasn't about the money--it was the indifference and lack of basic courtesy that left a bad impression. Made an appointment for same day repair and according to the employee there were issues after I came to pick up my device which was two visits. Geek squad employee (who was very polite and kind along with managers which was appreciated) made me the next available same day repair appointment only to get there and find out that it would not be made for an additional day and device would have to be left there for repair. If an appointment is made that says it will be same day then the repair should happen. I was told the repairman couldn't make the repair in the hour I was allotted which is a battery replacement. They then tried to give me an additional appointment for 2 days later at the same time and said it would be same day again. Unfortunately Best Buy is the only apple certified repair store within an hour of my location. Very very disappointed with this service (or lack thereof). While I'm on first, second and third visit I witnessed multiple other customers express frustration for similar disappointments regarding repairs. Best Buy phone center is great. I can't speak more highly of them. They are nice, patient, and thorough.

I am a fan of Best Buy, more so because there are few options these days for one-stop-shopping for your appliance and electronics needs. Historically, I have been a fan of this Best Buy location, and they came through for me late last year following my home purchase in NoCal. I had a rough start with their delivery "experts" when having a rather expensive washer/dryer and refrigerator delivered who complained the entire time they were at my home. What made matters worse, is that the dryer was poorly hooked up to the dryer vent causing the exhaust to blow inside behind the dryer, and the gas line was dangerously attached using improper connectors which caused a gas leak inside my home. The gas line required the gas company to come out to replace the connectors which is fine, but the dryer should have never been hooked up with the inappropriate connections. I highly suggest that you check your appliance installations from this Best Buy. Fortunately, Best Buy customer service was able to resolve the issue of the dryer vent by sending a different set of techs back out to my home. They also issued a generous gift card for use in the store. This Best Buy will also accept electronics for recycling so that they don't wind up in the landfills. Employees will ask if you have removed the hard drive before accepting your old computers. I dropped off 4 old computers one day with no problem. For the most part, this location is fine. Employees are generally friendly, and the store is stocked. Due to the COVID-19 situation, employees now were masks and store capacity limited. It also seems that the employees are much more engaged with customers these days. read more

Loved this store up until our experience today! We were sold a defective TV and needed an exchange. We were able to exchange smoothly but when it came to getting out tv was the problem, we were told it would be ready for us at the front whenever we were ready. Apparently our new tv was placed for pickup which wasn't communicated with us, and the girl who ended up checking us out was being so rude about it and rudely told us we can go get the tv ourselves if we know where it is at. I came prepared to buy a TV mid-afternoon on a Tuesday, but the boy--yes, a kid who looked and acted like a school dropout--was engaged in conversation with two women, who (I overheard) were relatives of his. His name is ISAAC. I told him in the middle of his chat I was there to BUY....but his visit went on for 45 MINUTES, and he made no attempt to detach himself from these 2 old ladies or to call for a backup. In mid-September, I purchased appliances at Best Buy store number 529 in Visalia, California. A few weeks later, we reported issues with the microwave door, and despite having a three-year warranty, Best Buy directed us to LG. Four separate LG technicians visited, made recommendations, ordered parts, and discovered additional problems, including a broken door upon shipment. Best Buy insisted it's an LG issue, and LG suggested contacting Best Buy for a new unit. The saga continued, with missing screws, a cracked door, and a bent frame. Best Buy, unhelpful, only offered to exchange the microwave with installation costs on us. This has been an incredibly disappointing customer service nightmare from both Best Buy and LG, with four frustrating technician visits adding to the ordeal. I strongly recommend avoiding LG products, and I will never set foot in Best Buy again, given their three-year warranty that covers absolutely nothing. read more

On 12/13/21, an in store purchase for x2 TV's, x2 mounts with TV installation was made. The items were scheduled to be delivered and installed on 12/23/21 between 7AM-1PM. On 12/21, I received a phone call from "Menendez Insulation Company" on behalf of Best Buy to confirm my delivery appointment mentioned above. The appointment was confirmed. On 12/23 at 3PM, the delivery company was contacted since the delivery was never made. They never called to cancel/ reschedule the appointment, so I wasted half my day. I was told one of the TV's purchased wasn't in stock and had an unknown restocking date, so they couldn't reschedule the delivery. Best Buy was called to confirm information. The issue ended up being "elevated" and was assured I would be getting a call by 12/24 to re-schedule my delivery. On 12/24 at 3:30PM, I called Best Buy to notify them I had not received a call to reschedule my delivery. I was reassured the issue would be looked into and would be receiving a phone call within the next hour to re-schedule my delivery. I never received a phone call. On 12/25, I called Best Buy again. I was told the issue would yet again be "elevated" and that "this time" would be done the correct way. Due to the Holiday and the 26th being a Sunday, the latest they would get contact me was on 12/27. On 12/27, I never received a phone call. I called Best Buy to check on rescheduling my appointment. I was told that the issue was being investigated and would be getting a phone call by end of day to reschedule. Nobody called. On 12/28, I called Best Buy. They provided me with reference number. They said I would be able to reschedule no later than 12/30. On 12/30, I contacted Best Buy via chat. I am unable to reschedule & am denied a refund because the delivery company still had the items in their truck. (It had been 7 days since my supposed delivery date.) On 12/31 I call Best Buy. I am denied an appointment and a refund. I'm told they're at the mercy of the delivery company because the order is in a "weird" status and they are unable to do anything at this time. Overall, Best Buy has not only wasted my time but also lost me as a customer. I regret having ever gone in there to shop. They gave me ridiculous excuses, always failed to follow through with their promises and never failed to disappoint every step of the way. Way to go, Best Buy. read more

12/28/2019 We purchased our convertible freezer/refrigerator from store #529 at 4145 S Mooney Blvd, Visalia, CA 93277 with a delivery date of 1/2/2020. 1/2/2019 upon unboxing the driver noticed that the item was damaged (packaging box was undamaged so it looked to be an error on behalf of the warehouse) we requested a delivery with a new unit and was given an appliance hotline to reschedule our delivery. 1/6/2020 I called to reschedule our delivery, I left a voicemail as my call went unanswered. 1/8/2020 My husband called and was able to schedule a delivery for that Friday (1/10/2020) ETA would be between 8am-3pm 1/10/202- Day of Delivery I received a phone call from the delivery driver at 2:31PM stating that the item was not in their store; therefore, they would not be able to deliver and would need to call the store to reschedule a delivery date - Let me clarify I was expecting to receive my refrigerator and instead was told they never even had it in stock, the fact that no one was even aware of the lack of inventory was completely unprofessional. I proceeded to call the store; mind you the 1-800 number would direct me to the Bakersfield Customer Service Department, who in fact was such a great help "Bakersfield" during this process. I had to call the 1-800 number (Bakersfield Customer Service) every time to communicate with the Visalia store, a total of 7 times. I was finally given the Visalia extension number which is x2020 at your convenience. (Let me know if I am losing you guys because I had to write down all my notes to keep track of all of this nonsense) Once I was connected to the Visalia store I spoke to one of the Geek Squad employees who informed me that unfortunately the item was not in stock, and would be able to get me my refrigerator that Sunday (1/12/20 ETA 9AM-2PM) I explained that it was very tedious to have to call; more so frustrating to have to reschedule, he apologized on their behalf and stated he would be able to give me a discount of $50 for the miscommunication. He was able to reschedule delivery for that Sunday. 1/12/20 I received a call from Geek Squad 8:27AM the day of delivery explaining that they were not in possession of my appliance and will not be making the delivery. At this point I am in utter disbelief, the employee states that he spoke with the GM and was able to get me $150 discount for the miscommunication and delayed time. At this point I am beyond frustrated and looking to cancel my entire order and just go with a different store; however, the employee assures me that the item will be delivered on Tuesday. So we wait it out. (1/14/2020). 1/14/20 4:07PM I call to check to see the ETA of my order and an employee from Best Buy explains to me that the order is scheduled to be delivered the following day, I ask to speak to the GM at this point and she explains that she is unavailable and I will have to give her a call back because she does not take messages. 4:22PM I call Headquarters to file a formal complaint against the store. 1/15/2019 Geek Squad arrives with our Convertible Refrigerator only to find that it has the very same dent in the bottom hinge, the driver states that he can leave the item and we would have to call in to the same horrible customer service number to have a different one sent out to us. 1/17/2020 We realize that the refrigerator will not seal properly, it has a full 1/4" gap across the upper seal of the door due to the bottom hinge damage. Photos+time stamp attached I refuse to call that store back and get the same run around, and be lied to. Instead be left with an appliance that was mistreated and cannot properly seal and function as it runs constantly If you are purchasing any type of appliance my recommendation would be to order from a different store and pay for the delivery service to avoid that mess of a store. I was given the run around and lied to, their lack of communication and dishonesty was by far the worst experience I have ever endured as a customer. I bought a refrigerator, water line, washer, dryer, and install and warranty for all items. This was in August 2021. They attempted delivery on September 11, 2021. The fridge didn't fit, so the delivery team kept it and the water line. I never took possession of the items. They refused to install the dryer because they "couldn't confirm where the exhaust went." Clearly, it went outside. They installed the washer wrong so that the door would not open. The team said I would have my refund in 5 days. It's been 2+ months.
