I needed it, so I picked it up, then went home and found a cheaper one online for $29 on amazon, so I took it back and waited 24 hours for delivery. If you know exactly what you want, then I like this place fine. That being said, I would recommend avoiding curbside pickup at all costs. I had a curbside order because all my kids were with me and it theoretically would have been way easier for me. Theoretically because after checking in nobody ever came out with my item. The last time I was there an employee started arguing with me about some things that I was returning to the garden department. I told the manager and I don't know what happened after that... But, I can't seem to get or find any help when I'm there. Most of their employees don't have any knowledge or can't seem to help you when you ask for help. They're clueless as to what they're doing. How's that acceptable..?? Their garden department is TRASH, everything there's dead or withered and they want to sell it for regular price. NOT GOOD!!! I spend a good amount of $ there for them to give me shit on returns. I have a 5k limit on the Home Depot Card and they threatened to cancel my card if I didn't use it. I never do anything with home depot again after taking about$ $ 5,000.00 for home blinds and some of them defected . They are not taking responsibility for it and they want to charge again for the defected blinds supposed to redo it for free , They do not care about customers satisfaction and the customers service is horrible . They have a pretty extensive selection of hardware and home-improvement items, but their customer service felt a bit lacking.. We went in asking the difference between two of their big bug-zappers and the employee literally told us "how am I supposed to know, I've never used them" Then for some reason he went on this strange rant about how they don't teach this stuff in college and how it's useless to ask other peoples' opinions -- what? Home Depot trashed my credit and will do nothing. But give me the run around to get it off my record. Home Depot opens an account in my name. They did not verify any of the information. "It was Fraud". The thief got away with over $2K in merchandise. This is the second time that this has happened at Home Depot. The last time was the same runaround. It took me months to get it removed from my record. Because they did not do their research. Now there stating that they have 90 days to review my case. They screwed it up and per their procedures, they get to screw my credit up even longer. They reported false information to the credit bureaus. It was never me at first. I was in the middle of purchasing a home. This dropped my credit score by over 100 points. And Home Depot is not going to do anything until THEY get around to it. Home Depot should not let outside vendors be inside the store, for example SUNRUN. Every time I go to this store there is always that same guy trying to sell me solar panels, several times I have said I am not interested but he keeps asking. I avoid this store location for that reason. read more

We're going through HD for countertops and while the initial assessment from HD went good - where we chose what we wanted, etc. We ended up being overcharged by them. We caught the overcharge once we received the template from their contractors. When you go through the process with HD, they ask if you want plumbing and that is an additional cost. For us, we're going to a single hole sink vs having the double sided sink with a garbage disposal hole and then a regular hole. The contractors for our counters are going to be doing that at the time of installation, not through HD 3rd party vendor for plumbing. So, HD is now refunding us for what we paid them, and the countertop company is sending out a new final order statement. So my advice is - do not pay for the extra cost UNTIL your template is done. Wait for the template and final order from that company to pay for any additional plumbing. read more

The chip registers frequently default to decline. It's not your card it's them. Citi bank is aware their chip registers malfunction. Home Depot are aware of it. They want you to get a new card... It would be great if they serviced chip readers and stop declining cards. read more

Then when u ask for a corporate number they tell you to look online and refuse to Give it to you. They would rather be rude and treat you like they're better. We asked how long the man looked at us and said well, it can be 1 or 15 minutes and walked off...and so did we, over to Lowe's and bought our wheelbarrow. In the laat few days I've visited this store a few times and every time their customer service is horrible. We are changing our flooring so we wanted to get a quote from them; when we asked an employee in the flooring department for help they acted as if we bothering them, wasting their time. We ended up going with lowes as their customer service was the complete opposite. Anyway today my husband went to this store again because we needed to rent a tool to remove our tile, he paid over $200 for the machine they said should work, he brought it home, we tried for over half an hour and were barely able to remove 1 tile, the bit they gave him seems to not the correct type for this tile. Needless to say we went back to our much smaller hammer drills to remove our tile but wanted to see if we could get our money back for their machine which was useless to us. He called to see what we could do, they basically told him we are SOL and of course the employee was rude and seemed to be bothered that we even called. Has all the tools, equipment, and supplies you need for your projects. One thing they don't have is knowledge. I've been here a lot of time and it seems Everytime I go no one knows where anything is. Don't even think about asking to compare things cause these people seem to have never used a tool in there life. This Home Depot is one of the worst places to have to go to. I have spent hundreds of dollars on lumber in multiple trips and each time no one helps. I can almost see the tumble weeds rolling by as i am having to load up 3/4 plywood sheets. Or the last time when two employees were having a conversation while i was trying to load lumber...I guess the fact I had a lumber cart and a push cart with my toddler wasnt enough to inspire them to do their job. After reading the other reviews I had to add mine. Recently wanted to purchase a new over the range microwave oven so off to Home Depot we went. After selecting one that was on sale we were told that it was not in stock, and that if we wanted it we would have to pay the shipping to get it to the store to purchase. Confirmed the statement with another gentleman who came up when a manager was requested. He said the same thing. I had to return an item I'd bought at Daly City. 4 people at the Customer Service Dept. I had to wait a few minutes before one of them finally looked up and offered to process the return (I thought they were in some training mode because they were huddled over one cash register). I have a feeling that going a few extra miles to Home Depot or Lowes at Tulare will give you better customer service. The vibe in Visalia was much less enthusiastic. You'll get different experiences based on which dept. you're in. Most of the staff in the plumbing, flooring, and electrical dept are knowledgeable and helpful. Checkout staff is also very friendly and helpful. The paint dept can be painfully slow. My experiences with management here are great. I see other yelpers are irritated with the lack of loading help, and I don't doubt them. I just don't buy anything I need help loading. read more

I made a purchase of tile flooring, when I went to pick it up, they wanted to give me different dye lots, something the associate that sold made that sale failed to inform me.. of course I didn't take, to get the same dye lot I would have to order online, so I had to reschedule with the contractor, they told me That my order would be arriving in 4 days, 4 days passed and they said that my order didn't arrived, so guess what I had to again call the contractor to cancel once again.. very very inconvenient, i called the manager and she didn't sound like she wanted to help me, she just said that she would leave a note for the receiving person to call me to give me a date.. what a joke.. read more
