Our dryer went out and I was calling around different places after 5pm, People's Appliance was one of the few that answered right away. When I explained what was going on they were willing to come out the same day. The price they gave to check it was reasonable and to be honest cheaper than some of the others. I also mentioned that I was out of town and would be home soon. Emilio was really nice and friendly was willing to come a little later. Once he arrived he checked everything and cleaned out the area. My dryer stopped working early on a Friday morning during laundry week and I waited to call when the business opened. They were able to come out the same day and replaced a fuse. Excellent response time, excellent service, and most of all excellent quality. 4 weeks later and it is still working. He showed me what part to order on Amazon in the event that the one he had on hand did not work. I ordered the part just in case; however, after several loads later it is still working. Very nice gentleman responded to my phone call on a Sunday. He came out and fixed my dryer for a very reasonable price. I called the gentleman to repair my gas oven. He wasn't able to repair it and admitted that to me. Instead of charging me for the house call, he suggested I find someone with experience. Everything in this shop is broken and has been pieced back together. They offer warranties but don't honor them, so don't be fooled. Peoples Appliance was the FIRST appliance store i purchased my Washer/Dryer from when i moved into my home 9 yrs ago. I initially had trouble with the first dryer, due to the fact, it would not fit into the small space i have. Without ANY questions or doubt, Peoples appliance delivered another dryer very next day! I ended up purchasing a refrigerator as well.Few months passed, I had trouble with my dryer, and they were out to fix it up the following day. This company has always been loyal , clean and honest. I saved a lot of money by shopping at their store and am completely happy. It has been some years since I've had purchased my items.. Nick is selling items using YOUR business name and NOTHING was being done to correct my problem....unless I spent another $100 for a different refrigerator.....um....I don't think so. After run arounds, fake promises, and general excuses (I purchased fridge 5/1/2016....yes, I've been dealing with this for a YEAR) here I am leaving this review. If I had the time, I would take these guys to small claims. Amil...why don't you give me back MY money that I paid for a bum refrigerator that never worked right from the beginning (that had a warranty that was as good as a used piece of toilet paper), and have Nick pay you back for it? So our dryer has been broken for about a week now, and I am very good at repairing electronics in general, since I was too to take the time to fix it myself. The guy who works for the company started working on our dryer, and I even told him how to open the panel the right way and he decides to go and do it wrong which broke it even more! this guy decides to say to me "You know what I think I'm gonna pass" and proceeds to leave after breaking my dryer more. I recently moved and needed a washer, dryer and refrigerator. Purchased all 3 at this place for a reasonable price and I have no regrets. They also delivered to me in Porterville at no charge. A month after I purchased, my dryer had an issue and Emilio came out and fixed it without issue or hesitation. On top of that, since he was in the area, he fixed my friends dryer right after mine and gave her a very reasonable price. I highly recommend these guys for anyone on a budget. The only reason why I'm giving one star is because negative 1,000 is not possible. I have been a repeat customer for years and thought that I was an important client. Apparently not! I purchased a refrigerator and it was not able to be repaired so I bought another one from them. From day one it was freezing the items in my refrigerator. Emil came to fix it and then it wasn't working at all. All my food was spoiling. Plus he put this horrible attachment on the top of the refrigerator (inside). HE PUT IT UP THERE WITH BLACK DUCT TAPE!!!! When I asked him if he was done, because surely he just did that until a more suitable option was available. He said no, that he was done and that if I didn't like the look of it then I could just spray paint over it. SPRAY PAINT THE INSIDE OF MY REFRIGERATOR!! I wish I could upload a picture. So again the refrigerator still did not work. It wasn't keeping anything cold. Luckily there was nothing much in my refrigerator to spoil. I wasn't going to buy food to just spoil in this POS refrigerator. This last time (which is the straw that broke the camel's back) he came out was even more horrible of an experience. He pulled everything out of my freezer, grabbed a cup I had on the counter (didn't ask to use it) and proceeded to splash water into the back of the freezer. Water was all over my kitchen floor! When he saw that I was witnessing this, then he asked for some towels. Water was freaking everywhere!!! Now he is getting ready to leave and I ask him about the black duct tape issue. He says that I can buy this one piece of equipment and he will install it. Why in the hell didn't he do that in the first place!!!!!! This all happened on my lunch hour. When I got home that night there was still water under the refrigerator. I kept having to move in back and forth to clean up the water, THAT WAS STILL COMING OUT OF IT!!! When I asked him about that, he said (and I quote) "K. I'll stop by towards the end of the week but more than likely the water tray that catches the water is to full Thank you for your patience. TOO FULL? Right! Maybe it was because of all the freaking water you splashed in there!!!! Needless to say I text him and told him that I do not want him at my house again and that I will NEVER purchase anything from him again. Stay away from this crook. He will sell you broken items and then reaps the benefits when it breaks down. Taz's M was right about everything! The fact that he has Rev. in front on his name is unsettling as well. Great product for reasonable price. I was looking to buy a fridge & was surprised to find they carried Samsungs (same model I was interested in) for less then half the price of Home Depot or Sears. The fridge had a few scratches but nothing major & they warranted the product for 2 months with the option of an additional warranty for a small fee, which I took, cause I was really hesitant about buying a "used" product. I've had zero problems with my fridge which I've had for 6 months & have recommend this place to others looking for a great deal.
