PLEASE READ TO THE END!!! I used Best Choice to tow a company vehicle, and had a very frustrating experience. The first red flag was that when I called, they just answered "Hello", and didn't say who they are, so I thought I had dialed the wrong number. Red flag #2 was that when it was time for credit card payment they had an employee text me a link to a website where you have to fill out all of your info and send a picture of the front and back of your ID/Drivers license, and a picture of the front and back of your credit card, which made me nervous but they said that was the only way to pay by card over the phone. Red flag #3 was that immediately the charge that showed up on my online banking was listed as Allstate Insurance, and when I called to ask them why they said that the towing company they were using was called Allstate towing group. Red flag #4 is that after the charge showed up on my account I called to ask if I could get a receipt and they said they had sent a request for the receipt, which I didn't receive within 2 hours, so I called again and they said the same thing. I had to call over 6 times to try to get a receipt and I finally got it after calling again the following day. Red flag #5 was the biggest one of them all; 15 days after I used their services someone had copied my credit card and used it to make fraudulent charges on my account. The card I used for the towing service was new and had only been used a couple of times at trusted places that I use my credit cards at daily to make purchases. All in all it was a frustrating experience and I am sure that is how my CC info was stolen. I cannot prove that this is where the thieves got my credit card info but even with that problem excluded, I still would never use their services again because of how unprofessional and careless they were.

Excellent service by a knowledgeable driver. Not only did he try different ways to start my vehicle and diagnose the issue, (starter problem) but, went above and beyond once it didn't start. Because it's a Ram truck, apparently the mechanism to put it manually on Neutral doesn't let these cars stay in Neutral manually, so the driver rigged something to keep the car engaged in Neutral and then tow my vehicle. Dropped it off where I needed it and to top it off, his price was 30% better than the competition. Why wait, hire him for your towing needs. read more

Gonzalo did a great job on my towing needs, being there on time as usual for the second time and getting my car where i needed it to be. He also had a couple of tows before me but was there within an hour. He is a really nice guy and understandable his prices for towing are reasonably priced. My wife's car would not start today, so after dropping her off at work, I yelped for a tow service and picked Best Choice because it was close to my house. Gonzalo arrived within the time he said he would (30 minutes) and towed the car to my mechanic for a fair price. Hopefully I never have to tow my car again, but if I do, I'd pick Best Choice again. read more

Dangerous, Unprofessional & Intimidating Experience…read more I recently had an extremely disturbing experience with a driver from Western Towing in Oceanside ROBERT . In my personal opinion, this was the most unprofessional and reckless tow operator I've ever encountered. The driver was aggressive, hostile, and verbally abusive, even cursing at me and calling me names when I questioned what he was doing. The way he spoke to me as a woman and homeowner was unbelievably disrespectful. Worst of all, he attempted to tow a vehicle while my friend was still inside the car and another person was underneath working on it. The level of danger and carelessness was shocking -- someone could have been seriously hurt. His behavior escalated to the point where he made intimidating gestures, acted like he was trying to start a fight with my friends, and tried to pressure and threaten us by saying I could "get kicked out of my house" if I didn't admit fault and allow the tow. It felt like pure intimidation and abuse of authority. Because of how reckless and threatening the situation felt, the police were called. When officers arrived and saw what was happening, they ordered him to put the car down immediately. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how out-of-line this situation was. This was hands-down the most unprofessional, unsafe, and hostile experience I've ever had with any service provider. I strongly hope this company reviews who they hire and trains their staff properly -- because what I witnessed was completely unacceptable and dangerous.

When I told him where my car was, he immediately knew the lay if the land and asked if it was on a hill or not. This is the type of experience and local knowledge that is important. They don't have any information online to help find the car by vin or tag. None of the state resources pulled it up, no one from the hospital could tell us anything so that tells me that they violated California wrongful towing laws, primarily under Vehicle Code § 22658, forbid towing from private property without express written authorization from the property owner/agent, who must be present. I finally found the car after searching online for days, because I remembered I put a AirTag in it because it was his car. I believe they wrongfully removed the car because we had the hospital permission to park it there. Will be picking it up today 4/6/2026, asking for authorization form for towing and speaking to the lawyer this afternoon as well as filing bbb complaint.

If you haven't tried using Yelp to acquire quotes from businesses such as dash cam and installation retailers, it's pretty convenient and many service type businesses will reach out to you. After sending an inquiry about purchasing and installation of a dash cam, one of the first businesses that reached out to me was DV Audio and Customs. Besides DV Audio, several other businesses contacted me and I immediately decided on DV Audio because of the professionalism and thoroughness of Dennis and Paola. They answered several questions I posed to them and although I probably could have shopped around for a better deal, I decided to have DV Audio take care of my dash cam need solely based on the professionalism and customer service, but besides those much clamored for qualities, I got even more once the job was completed. DV Audio is located in Escondido specifically within a small business park where other service type businesses are located. I don't remember if there were other tenants, but as soon as you turn into Wineridge, you'll turn right into the first driveway and you'll see the DV Audio signage. The exact address for DV Audio is 2080 Wineridge Suite D. The shop can be found by taking 15 North or 15 South exiting off of Valley Parkway and heading west. There are two parts of Escondido where car dealers are located, which is the east side and west side of Escondido. DV Audio is located close to the west side of car dealers. I received great customer service from Paola from start to finish for my dash cam project. Prior to setting up an appointment with DV Audio to have them install a dash cam, I stopped by their shop to ask them questions. The primary thing I wanted to ask them was whether they price match because at the time, Amazon Prime Days were going on. My intent was to buy a dash cam on Amazon and then have DV Audio install it. When I asked about price matching, Paola informed me that they do price match on a specific Red Tiger dash cam, but not on the higher end Red Tiger dash cam. She also informed me that it would be better if I purchased the dash cam from her because then it would be under warranty, which was great information to have. Another reason to have work done by DV Audio is that their business is military veteran friendly and they do military discounts for Army Veterans like me. If you pay cash for the work they do, there is a cash discount and who doesn't like savings. Besides all of these positives, they are also efficient and respect people's time. I dropped off my car at my appointment time of 9:30am and I was notified that they were done at 10:44am. When their technician was installing my dash cam, they found rust build up on the inside side wall of my dash, which I would have never found if not for their technician letting me know. This information was invaluable because I'm going to have the car dealer check it out. If you're ever in the market for a dash cam and installation of that dash cam, before you purchase, I highly recommend you contact or visit DV Audio and Customs to purchase the dash cam and have them do the installation. Customer service, expediency, and thoroughness from start to finish is why they should be the only shop you visit for dash cam service. I also noticed vintage cars in their shop, so if you own vintage cars, you might want to check what type of service they do for vintage cars.

The job was done right....works perfectly and love the care in running the wiring and setting everything up....I got to meet Dennis and Paola both and they are fantastic people. Today was the second time I've used best choice towing. The first time was about a decade ago--Gonzalo came to rescue me and my motorcycle on I-15. He charged me a very reasonable rate then, was kind, courteous, and handled my bike well. I remembered him, kept his information and needed help again today. Although he got tied up a little with another job, he was courteous enough to give me a call to let me know what was going on--that makes all the difference in the world to me. As usual, he was kind, courteous, and handled the move of my project vehicle very professionally. His rates are extremely reasonable and it's nice to see he keeps his truck in nice condition as well. Although I didn't have the cash to pay him on the spot, he was kind enough to let me get it for him later in the day. His son stopped by to pick up the payment from me and was kind, courteous, and professional as well. I can not speak more highly of Best Choice Towing and highly recommend his services to anyone. I had called a lot of company's to tow my car but they were either asking to much or to long on the wait period . I got in contact with Gonzalo and he instantly told me a easy cheap flat rate and showed up earlier than expected he then loaded my car up and ask me "what was the matter with my car " I told him" I was looking for a new engine do you know anyone ?" and he not only told me about a couple shops but drove me to one no extra charge after that he helped me unload the car and pushed it where it needed to be. With the type of day I was having just the GREAT customer service, reliability and honesty that he provided for me was "Outstanding" if I ever need another tow I will gladly use this company again. read more

Gonzalo is the man! Dude came thru and got my truck onto the flatbed without any problem and my truck only had 3 wheel's!! One of the tires broke off the hub and was on three wheel's. I knew it would cost more since it would require special handling and some tow services wouldn't even take my truck, but Gonzalo is a genius and handled it like the pro he is and his price was hella reasonable. literally the coolest dude i've ever met so down to earth and was super well priced it was the 3rd tow company i had called that morning. the company i called to ask if the towed sports bikes "yes" with a question mark like they were asking me a question and then qoutes me at 120 with a 4 hour wait to go 5 miles. this guy charged me 65 and was there in less than an hour and he was super chill. Stop, you have found the towing service you are looking for. Work truck went down in between jobs. Called Gonzalo and he answered immediately, gave me an eta, and showed up on time.
