Gary just installed a level 2 EV charger and was great to work with. Unlike other companies I contacted that wanted to come out, give an estimate, then proceed with the work, Gary did over the phone using photos and my measurements. Being able to get a ballpark idea of the cost before someone showed up at my door made things so much easier and not something any other company would agree to. Where we wanted the charging station vs. where the fuse box was located was a lot farther apart than normal, so the cost was higher. However, I expected this since 75+ feet of wire is over $400 online. I also appreciated that he was able to go through the wall in the garage directly into the fuse box so there was no unsightly conduit on the exterior for the HOA to complain about. The hole in the garage drywall was cut neatly but Gary also took the time to add a patching compound to make it look perfect and seamless. I was told by Parker and Sons some months ago that I need to replace my entire electrical box - which is a multi-day job costing thousands - because they said my a/c unit got grounded and damaged the system. This business responded right away to a request to look over a problem with my control panel. He came exactly when he said he would. He listened to me describe the issue we were having and asked some pertinent questions. It didn't take him long to fix the issue. I thought the problem was storm related since our blackout in one room came the morning following a storm and just flipping the breaker didn't help. He took the time to show me that the breaker wire was at a very low level and that we had too many things plugged into the outlets for that room to be supported by that wiring. He was very patient and explained it very well. He was able to fix the part that had burned out immediately although with a warning that we would have to keep the number of items plugged in at a lower level. He was knowledgeable and respectful. During our recent home sale, the home inspection turned up issues with a double-tapped neutral in the panel and broken GFCI. Gary quoted the issue off of the inspection report quickly. He stayed in contact via text messages and email and arrived early on the day he quoted. He tested all of the exterior GFCIs for problems and installed a new neutral bar and rewired all of the problem neutrals. He also upgraded one of the breakers to match the existing ones with parts he had on hand. We needed an invoice with an outline of the work and Gary sent it over before the end of the day. Gary was fantastic! I called him and told him I needed to replace an old electrical panel in my garage. He said he was nearby and asked if he could stop by after he was finished with a job. He sent me a text when he was on his way. That night he sent me a quote. We arranged for the work the following week. He showed up on time and changed the panel. He also had to run a line for the evap cooler I was having installed. The evap cooler guy stopped by when Gary was working and he changed up what I told Gary I thought he needed.
