I walked into this light gallery for the first time last week and WOW! So many lighting options for every type of space. Right when I walked in, I was greeted and asked if I wanted a bottle of water and that elevated my experience to the next level. Valley Light Gallery has a huge selection of lighting at their location. We have made multiple purchases there over the years, have called on their electrician to fix ceiling fans we had purchased there, and have brought in lamps for repair on several occasions, since we trust their work. I recently brought in a lamp where the light bulb had broken but the base could not be ssafely unscrewed. They took care of the problem quickly and at no charge. My 20+ year-old desk lamp lost the stem piece which tilts the head of the lamp to adjust lighting. It was difficult to find a suitable replacement part so Mark retooled what remained of the existing broken stem on his own accord. While not 100% repaired, I'm thrilled to be able to keep the lamp in use. Mark went above in service and offered to keep looking for a replacement part. And did not charge me for the work done. Valley Light Gallery is professional and reputable. Their level of customer service harkens back to old school days of care and attention which minimally exist today. If the repair had been fully achieved, I'd be giving them 5 stars. read more

I had such a wonderful experience at valley light gallery. I transported a lamp from Illinois that ended up snapping in a uhaul. It was one my favorite lamps and I really did not want to get rid of it. I called beforehand and emailed photos to make sure it could be fixed and lo and behold, it could be, all thanks to Mark! All staff was very welcoming and kind. The lamp was fixed on the spot which I was not expecting at all. Pricing is extremely fair and I am really impressed with how everything went. Also... the gallery itself is incredible, beautiful light fixtures and fans. If I knew about this store before I remodeled my condo, I would have definitely purchased some fixtures from here. Their inventory is enormous, and their employees are all friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I feel like they work well as a team, and the owner is very hands on. He even called me directly to explain why one of my light fixtures had been delayed. Becky helped me select my fixtures. We purchased some Minka Aire ceiling fans for the home. There were some electrical issues at the time that I thought were related to the fans. It turned out the issues were in the house wiring and Mark patiently worked with us to resolve everything. All went well for 5 years. This year (the insane 2020 we will never forget) the big 84" stopped working. So of course I called Valley Lighting for part or service. Lo and behold Minka Aire was no longer producing our model and there are no parts available. Mind you, this is not an inexpensive fan! The happy ending to the story is that Patty goes to bat for us with the company and guess what? They provide us with a brand new current model replacement at no charge! This review is about lighting fixture repair only. I had a mishap here last time I used this place, but they made good on it. I purchased a halogen light from GoodWill for $5 that didn't work, but I thought it was a light bulb. I put new lightbulb in and it still didn't work. I like those old super bright halogen lights that point to the ceiling and give reflected light. But they stopped making them 20 years ago, cos they cause fires. So, I brought the GoodWill find to this shop to get estimate only, how much it would cost to repair. Mark Covell who repairs them was out to lunch, so I told the lady I wanted to leave the lamp, for estimate only. I told her make sure he doesn't remove the price sticker because I cannot return it then. She understood what I was saying, and said "I buy things at Goodwill myself, so I know". When I came back later, I was told it cost $23 for the repair, but he had repaired it! I told the lady who said she shopped at GoodWill "I told you I just wanted estimate only". She could not answer, told me to see him in back. Mark said "No one told me you wanted estimate only". Well, he destroyed the price tag, thought he was doing me a favor, and even told me how hard it was to get off, and he used GooGone or something to clean it off. I did not want to pay $23 for repair plus $5 for price of the lamp (and this was 50% off Sat.price). So since I could not return it to GoodWill due to destroyed price tag, Mark took out $5 out of his wallet and gave it to me, and I left. The lamp had a ding in it, was obviously "used" so I don't know what they did with it. But previously Mark repaired the lighting in a china cabinet that I brought in. Needed a new transformer. The price was reasonable. If I have other lamp repairs, I will come here, as it is the only place I know of that fixes lighting and isn't too far from my home. read more

I bought a chandelier from a big box company a couple of years ago. It wasn't until I cleaned it that I realized 6 of the hanging crystals were missing. I contacted he company and they could not give or even sell me replacement crystals and could not recommend somewhere to purchase them. How can this be?? I called several lighting store near me. Valley Light Gallery was the only one who sold replacement crystals for chandeliers. I drove there not knowing if they could even help me, especially needing 6 crystals with an odd shape and an octagon crystal sitting above the hanging crystal. The young woman I worked with was terrific. She said she would try to find them for me. It was about 15 minutes and she came out from the back with 6 of the exact match crystal combinations! They were wired and the hooks were installed. I was beyond happy. I will not be buying any lights, lamps or chandeliers from anywhere else but Valley Light!!! I simply cannot say enough good things about this business, the owners and the staff! Literally every fan and light in my home (9 fans!) came from Valley Light Gallery and they have never disappointed and stand behind everything they sell. Today was another great example of why I would never even think of buying a light or fan from anywhere else. I bought a Minka Aire fan from them in circa 2014. A few days ago the halogen bulb burned out and that somehow triggered a failure in which the fan & light kit would not restart. I called the store on a Thursday to report the problem and a very nice person there tried to take a few quick steps to troubleshoot but it didn't work. So on Monday their technician Will showed up at my house and was unable to repair the fan, so Will replaced the fan with a new one. He had the foresight to bring a new one with him just in case! I'm sorry people but outstanding customer service is a lost art these days and I am VERY HAPPY to report that Valley Light Gallery walks the talk!! Couple great after sale support with installation services by employee Mark Crosby, a product selection that defies imagination and very competitive prices, and this place is winner. Thanks to Mark for his skillful repair of my table lamp, a sentimental piece that sustained damage and was repaired DIY years ago. The body of the lamp was stained brown in the areas where pieces years ago were glued together. The brass base of the lamp was dented from the fall. In short, it was a mess. I even felt a little silly asking if it could be rewired. Well, today I picked up my lamp and it looked great. In addition to rewiring and adding a new socket, Mark removed the old brown glue stains, reinforced the area with a resin, polished the metal details and even straightened the dented metal base!
