I had and have some neck issues; the first time I came in I could not move my neck to the right at all. Peter has such strong hands, he knows what trigger points/reflexology to press to release the muscle(s). This type of massage though is not gentle, it's really to release tension and it may hurt a bit ..but you will come out feeling amazing. I'm sure you can always ask for more or less pressure. I've since moved away 30ish min away but I will continue to come back here! I'd only suggest that they make their music a little longer and ask if any guests would like a heat lamp. As a Yelp Elite reviewer for years, I take my reviews very seriously. I understand that businesses are trying to do the best they can but I also understand that consumers work hard for their money. I have tried The Best Golden Spa a few times. I have noticed they have shorted me on time. Today, May 24, I went in and looked at the time and at 11:40 the massage began. During the massage the masseuse had to walk away a couple times. After completion I paid and was walking out the door at 11:05! They don't use timers... ummm where's the rest of what I oaid for? I would not suggest going here, if you want the full value of your money. I give two stars because the actual massage was good during the shorted amount of time. I have been searching for a place that can do true reflexology massages and deep tissue / trigger point release. It's rare to find a therapist who really knows the body and can sense where your problems are and fix them. This place has that. I have been holding so much stress and tension in my back and shoulders that it's causing other physical problems like skin issues, illness, fatigue etc. When I came here for a 30 min reflexology and 15 min chair massage, I was so blown away by how much better I felt IMMEDIATELY. There are not many places that have miracles workers but this place has several... I'm 31 and have been getting massages since the ripe ol age of 12 when my mom became a massage therapist. (So I know a good massage when I get one).. this place was able to change the quality of my in just one visit. I AM SO GRATEFUL I was able to experience this. I am sorry to say this was horrible. I don't like to give bad reviews. But Kevin was horrible. Very uneducated , he bruised my occipital area. He jams his elbows and knuckles into tissue with no clue as to what tissue he is on. You can't communicate with him. I am still in pain a week out. And massage room way noisy I did the 30 min feet / 30 min body massage combo. He stayed on my feet for 21 mins not 30 min. And thank god the body massage was cut short too Bad bad! If you make an appointment it doesn't matter, they take whomever walks in front of them and tell you to wait 30 min upon arrival. Spa too loud, noisy not a relaxed place.it makes you feel you are in a car repair garage. Owners were loud speaking in their native language. The message room was private but the door wouldn't close slam shut kept opening and you can hear the loud noises. The message room across from the foot message area where customers and workers were way too loud. Never going back there. It was a very stressful experience.
