On short notice, they were able to accommodate our group of girls and we all enjoyed our services SO MUCH. I got a facial and it was the best facial I've ever had. Although I don't remember her name, the women who did my facial had worked there for many many years and said the staff was like family. The staff is extremely hospitable and if I lived in Texas, I would be a regular here!!

Not only did they not get all the hair there, but they also missed quite a few in areas on my chin that should have been waxed. On my eyebrows, very small areas waxed. There are still eyebrow hairs left where they waxed. I didn't see the problem until I got home. When I called, they refunded my money.

She was completely safe to be massaged on arms, legs,tummy, her back and neck. I WAS VERY CLEAR ABOUT THAT. I am her mother who knows her intimately. She was denied any service. Secondly, I disclosed, with joy, that I had just beaten cancer, am cancer free and added I was just on a maintenance chemo pill. Hardly a means to denying me a massage. In fact a massage would have been very beneficial, considering. I was denied services. I have been to spas all over the world and have never had to endure such humiliating attitude. To accuse Nicole of having an open belt on her robe, when she was merely coming out of the massage room where she expected service and moved away, in shock, out towards the changing women's changing rooms. This is a modest girl who has a high regard for correctness. I am horrified that rather than an apology, I get a lecture letter on why you might have been right. The whole experience was so unethical and wrong in every sense. I can only shake my head in disbelief. Appauled.

I specifically asked to keep my length, several inches were cut off without any consultation. On top of that, my haircut was extremely uneven and choppy--all right before several important events. This is unacceptable from a senior stylist especially at the price point this salon charges. Thankfully, I called the salon, and the team was able to schedule me with a different hairstylist who completely saved the day. I'm grateful for how they handled the situation, but it doesn't change the fact that my wishes regarding both the style and the amount of length removed were not respected. It also required additional time and effort to schedule a second appointment, not to mention the emotional distress I experienced. Hair is a very personal thing, and I hope every client is treated with the care, attention, and respect their preferences deserve. I also found Brian's demeanor during the appointment to be less professional and attentive than I would have expected. I'm sharing this in the hope that it's taken as constructive feedback so future clients don't have the same experience.

However, the payment situation was a disaster. First, they wouldn't accept the gift card, which was frustrating. Then, they don't take credit/debit cards which I think they could have mentioned when I made the appointment. I had to drive around Lakeway looking for an atm, which was hard because again, I don't know that area at all. And the haircut was pricey. I had a simple cut, just a trim and a few layers, and it was seventy dollars. My usual salon charges about forty, and that seems to be fairly standard for haircuts in this area. It's a good haircut, but not almost twice as good as my usual cut. The price wouldn't have been an issue, of course, had they taken my gift card, but it really destroyed my day to go from thinking I could get a cut for minimal out of pocket to driving aimlessly looking for an atm to pay more than I normally would for a simple haircut. Not going back, obviously.

She was very rude to me and cold and basically said goodbye. What happens next is next level. The owner runs outside and I'm thinking maybe she will apologize. She accuses me of not giving her the $100 bill. She said I only paid $40. I reassured her that I paid. Then Mary comes out frazzled with all the money in her hand and I can see the 100 bill on the bottom of the stack as she runs out. Mary turns right back around to go back inside (without apologizing) and the owner also turns around to walk back inside. To which then I said "are you going to apologize?" And she said she was sorry. What a Mother's Day. I'll never go back to this place. Beware.

I was super relaxed early with the aromatherapy scalp massage and then the face mask she put on after cleansing my face. My favorite part of the service was the scalp massage with and without a tool she used. It was so relaxing. After a wonderful shampoo and conditioning hair mask, she washed my hair and blow dried it.
