I've used this company now four times for my CCW renewals. What can I say: they're absolutely fantastic. They give you a very informative classroom experience. Period. The main Instructor-Davis, worked as a corrections guard for years. He gives us some good information about when it's appropriate and not appropriate to use as well as plenty of instruction on the range to safely handle manipulate and use our firearms. I purposely drive 40 miles from my house just to use this agency. I wouldn't use any other. I just attended the basic firearms course. The instructors were awesome! The classroom lecture was very informative and the instructors encouraged and answered all questions. The range portion of the class focused on SAFETY and getting all students comfortable with their firearm. I personally haven't shot a gun in almost 30 years. After the class I was very comfortable with my new pistol. All students started the range portion with provided 22 caliber handguns to learn the safety aspects of using a shooting range. If you gring your own firearm or use a class issued 22, you will walk away much more informed and comfortable using a gun. read more

I am a first time gun owner and was a little bit nervous. Mike made me comfortable and tailored the class to me. I can now: 1, Handle a pistol safely, load it, handle issues that come up (jams), shoot it accurately and quickly. 2. Disassemble, clean and store my pistol. 3. OK, let's face it. We have choices on who we have train us for our CCW and firearms training. But in the 20 plus years I have had a CCW, I must say the John and company (Darren to be exact), bring this to a much higher level. They focus on SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY!! I took the 8 hour CCW class on 10/22/2017 with John. It was a great class, learning about the laws for CCW holders and safe gun handling. John is friendly and very knowledgeable. The gun range portion was great, and I felt very safe. John was patient and shared his knowledge with how to shoot the bullseye with every shot, or what you needed to correct just by looking at where your shots landed. You'll shoot from 10 yards and will need to place 70% of your shots either on or inside the 8 ring. * Side note: I am a nursing mom and I had reached out to John prior to class about breaks so I could pump and he was prompt in replying and stated yes I could take the time I needed to do so.
