I live in Sac County and had to take the 16 hour course - Paul covered more material than was required and explained things in a way that I understood. He took the time to go over my questions until I had a complete understanding. I was very nervous about qualifying. I had one gun I was familiar with and had shot before and another that I just acquired and had never shot. Paul had a way about him that made me feel at ease out on the range. There were plenty of material to take home which included a Basic Pistol Handbook that makes a great quick reference for anything from safety, how to handle a pistol to cleaning and storing handguns and ammunition. Even though I was the only one to attend the class that day, Paul decided to go through with it anyway, rather than rescheduling it.
