They are very knowledgeable and will take the time to answer any in all questions you may have. This year, I didn't really need one for work however I wanted to make sure that I still kept it in place because it's so important to me. I get test nervousness however they are very well firsts in going over all of the questions ahead of time if you pay attention, you definitely will get your answers correct. I've trained in the main office and also their other one that is on the same building all of their mannequins and stuff that they use are all cleaned each use in the building itself is very well kept. I took the PALS course with instructor Andrew. He was great and kept the class fun. I feel like I learned a lot and am confident in my skills now. The facility itself was nice and spacious, there was a few separate classes going on. They have a coffee station, and you can buy snacks if needed. Went back today for an overdue re-cert and I have nothing but praises to sing, just like before. They have class times galore to choose from, pricing is competitive, and the instructors all seem to be wonderful. Today we had Brooke who seemed keenly aware that folks wanted to be in and outta there with their certification. The instruction was swift but thorough for the BLS/CPR course. A lot to learn but it is done in a short amount of time and with excellent instruction to pretty much ensure that you will pass the exam. 99% of the class were medical professionals in the community so this is clearly the go-to training center. I came here after reading the reviews for my ACLS and PALS certification classes. I'm glad I did because the experience was great despite these classes running over 2 days each for long hours. The location is in very nice medical offices with a cute outside areas with ponds and fountains. It's also close to douglas where there's just about everything to eat for your lunch break. So you have enough time to drive, order, sit and eat, and come back to remainder of class on time. Andrew was the instructor for both classes and made it interesting, fun, and easier to understand. He gave VERY helpful hints for the tests and related the material to his personal experience as a paramedic. The power point presentations were good too with videos. There's even a TV screen off to the side so those further away can still see it. They've got multiple classrooms, 2 bathrooms, an area with free Keurig coffee or tea. The customer service front desk was awesome too, she automatically refunded my shipping charge for one of my books since I placed the order too late to get it in time for class. They're accommodating and let me pick up my 2nd book in person since I took both classes the same week. The mannequins are really nice in their SIM labs they tell you on their computer screens the quality of your compressions like the depth and effectiveness and same with the breathing . They have SIM small rooms to practice the codes with touch screen computers that act as a EKG, defibrillators, and cardioverter. I've never seen that type of equipment wherever else I've gotten my BLS. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and nice. Although they do this training they're all from the medical field one was a retired physician, 2 others paramedics, and another a nurse. I'll definitely be returning to this location for future certifications or renewals. The only thing was the books were pretty pricey for the ACLS and PALS and you have to have them. I would recommend buying them somewhere else like Amazon. The classroom is freezing so they're not joking when on their website it says to bring a sweatshirt. read more

I've taken classes here before and I really enjoyed the friendly, fun, & low stress environment. However, I will not come back... ever. There's a new instructor for the PALs class (Vicki Wolf) who made the class uncomfortable & stressful. 1) When a question was asked OR she was asked to repeat information , Vicki was short, inpatient & treated the person who asked the question like they were in elementary school. 2) The class requested to skip lunch and move on with the rest of the curriculum but Vicki said no. I wasn't surprised with her response because she conducted the class with an iron fist from the moment she stepped in front of the classroom. It was her way or no way. 3) She wouldn't go over my errors till everyone finished the test. This was a real pain because there were slow test takers & I sat around for an additional hour when she could of easily went over my errors. 4) Though we were 6 feet part, no hands on for the Mega Code, (even vaccinated ) we were still required to wear a mask... BUT it was ok to use the same restroom. If we needed to take a "mask break" during the 6 hours of classroom time, we were instructed to go outside. 5) In addition, I can barely understand Vicki through her mask. 6) A young man was a smidge late to the class. Vicki asked him, "Is there a good reason why you're late!?" Never in my career have I experienced this ... Waste of my time & money. I do not recommend & will not return. read more

Great class, great experience! I came to re-cert my BLS/CPR, which re-cert classes can often be a bit of a bore or chore or both. However, this was neither! The instructor (forgot her name but tallish slim blonde woman) really made the class efficient and smooth. Would recommend this place because they have weekday or weekend classes available with ample parking. I was able to finish an ACLS class in two days and feel well prepared. I work in EMS and am also a nurse so it is nice to be trained in ACLS by instructors who work in EMS but also understand that most people taking this course need it for in-hospital certification so the instructors understand the differences in scope of practice. The instructors are very personable however sometimes the classroom setting is too chill. At least it doesn't have a bad vibe where you feel like they are out to fail you. I don't think I'll take a BLS/CPR class anywhere else. I have taken the healthcare provider class there 2 times now. Both times the teacher was the same person although this time there was a second teacher with her. The teachers are very laid back, funny and actually made the class enjoyable but at the same time, I feel that I was taught everything I need to know to preform CPR. There is a Keurig and K Cups for free and some cheap snacks. Also, both times the class got out a little early which was nice. One last thing... The outside of the building is beautiful with fountains and trees. I kind of wanted to hang out after class and eat lunch or something haha read more

The classrooms are clean, open, and located in an easy-to-find spot in Roseville, CA, just across from Kaiser Roseville. They also happen to be located near some amazing restaurants (perfect for lunch breaks). The instructors have been knowledgable, down-to-earth, and practicing providers. Had my ACLS training today. My instructor was Katy. She was experienced, kind, knowledgeable and patient. She is a paramedic and if you ever find yourself in need of her sevices you can thank God she's on your team. This was my first class with Cascade and they had modern equipment, relevant materials and good coffee! I gave them 5 stars because for 16 yrs I have taken CPR classes every 2 yrs and this was the best one I've ever had the pleasure of sitting through. They earned all 5 stars. This place was in an easy to access location with plenty of free available parking. The instructor was great and she made it easy to learn and review the material. The manikins were clean and in good working order. The room temperature was fine, not too cold or hot. They offer free water and Keurig drinks and there is a snack area with chips, candy, etc. that you pay a nominal fee for on the honor system. I took my BLS renewal class from Cascade Training Center and it was the best class I have taken by far. The classroom was roomy and inviting, we had all the equipment we needed for CPR such as mannequin both adult and infant, BVM, and AED. There was no pressure at all instead everyone had a chance to practice high quality CPR on the mannequins. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. They were expert in their field. All in all it was a fun learning experience and I feel that I am now more confident to do my job as an RT and to provide high quality life saving emergency care to my patients if the need arises, all thanks to what I have learned today.
